Still easy to make, although I did substitute the butter and milk with blended cottage cheese with the sauce packet to increase the protein and creaminess. I also really like the distinctive packaging making it clear what the difference between this and the original..

She had no idea it was any different than her favorite Kraft Mac n Cheese and now I don't feel guilty letting her eat it for dinner! It took a little longer for the noodles to cook but that was the only difference!

I have not tried other protein pasta, so unfortunately cannot compare the flavor to anything else. I will say that this is pea based and not chickpea based like some other pastas. I felt there was a very stark difference in the first bite, and even though I finished a full serving, I did not like the flavor of it even once my palette got more used to it. I feel like picky kids would not be a fan and would hate for a parent to have wasted a meal. I would suggest if you're trying to put more protein in meals to add tofu or your choice of meat. I'm sure there are people that the different taste is not as apparent and are happy to get more protein. I'm glad companies are trying to make more easy protein meals to remind people (i.e. Americans) to eat more protein. Sadly, I will not be a customer of this product as I felt the taste was not satisfying and I didn't particularly enjoy the meal. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The macaroni was very easy to make! The flavor of the sauce is very similar to the original. The texture of the noodles is the part that's mainly off. You can tell that this isn't the original primarily due to an odd texture. Smells great, noodles are a bit darker but once you add the sauce you can't tell that either. If it's affordable, I'd make it again as a find substitute!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to get these power mac and cheeses to try as I’m trying to work on incorporating more protein in my diet. While these tasted really good and were easy to make, I feel like the packaging is a bit misleading. The amount of protein to calorie/fat ratio really isn’t really all that much healthier than the original option. The front of the box shows how much protein, fiber, calories etc are in it BEFORE preparing. So doesn’t count the 4 tablespoons of butter and how many servings are in one box. Overall this was tasty but I don’t think I’d repurchase as it’s not really the best option.
