I do appreciate the added protein especially with littles who can be picky but consistently eat pasta. With that said, for the cost, I will probably continue to purchase the regular Kraft Mac and cheese over this protein option.

Between the White Cheddar and Original flavors of the Power Mac, my kids prefer the Original flavor. I pair it with fruits and veggies and call it a well balanced meal. Win win!

The smell is that classic buttery-cheese powder hit, kind of artificial but nostalgic. Portion is decent for a quick meal, and the taste is creamy, slightly salty, and simple comfort food.

The taste itself is pretty much the same as the regular Mac and Cheese but the texture of the noodles is a bit more firmer than what I'm used to. I like that it contains 17g of protein and 6g of fiber in each box which is nice if you're trying to add extra protein in your diet. It's very easy to prepare and makes the perfect side dish for those who don't mind more firmer noodles. I likely won't be buying this variety as I am not a fan of the texture.

The extra added protein is perfect for my personal health goals. The original cheese tasted a bit artificial (like american cheese), so I did deduct a star for it. The package I got has a 6 month shelf life which is pretty good. This was easy to make and a quick and easy addition to your entree.
