I LOVE my Purple bed! I have been getting THE best sleep in as long as I can remember! However, I usually sit on my bed & fold laundry, do my child's hair in the mornings &sometimes go through mail/read... the bed was not designed for sitting. It gets quite uncomfortable for my back.

It may be heavy, but I just came from a temperpedic bed where in the summer it is insanely soft and reflects your heat to winter being rock hard and cold and slowly forms to your body. This mattress is unbelievably comfortable and love the soft stretchy sheets it comes with. It might be a little pricey for just a mattress. But well worth it! Definite buy!

I am not saying that all purple products are bad. I own a queen size mattress and a seat cushion. The seat cushion is perfect for me and it has made traveling easier in my trucks uncomfortable seats. I am shocked and amazed that I am having a completely different experience with my queen size mattress that I amazingly spent over $1,000 on. The reason why I wouldn't recommend this bed is that it is not good for couples. I don't think I would have a problem with the mattress if I were sleeping by myself but if I have to choose my mattress over my partner, I'm going to pick my partner. My partner is heavier than me and I always find myself rolling every night to his side of the bed. It is extremely hard to get good sleep if you're not laying on a flat surface. I have tried calling purple to see what they can do for me even though the mattress was past its warranty (or with your money back guarantee date). The customer service provider said they would be able to do something for me if I could take a picture of the bed warping by placing a gallon of milk on the mattress and capture a picture of how it sits on the bed. The pictures would then need to be approved of for a replacement or money back. The problem I am having is that the surface of the bed isn't warping (Can't take a picture like he suggested) but is only causing me issues when my partner weighs the bed down. I weigh 145 and he weighs 190. I think I wouldn't be upset if I spent $400-$500 on this mattress but I invested in this knowing I would have it for well over 1 YEAR. Guess its time to go mattress shopping again. OH my favorite. Dear Purple, Great job on your marketing, but make a better mattress.

After years of fighting with our health insurance, we decided to buy our 12 year old son this mattress and an adjustable base. He has never slept through the night as he has two dislocated hips and needs to be repositioned all throughout the night to reduce pain and pressure on his hips Due to his spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy. The very first night he slept on this mattress, he finally slept through the night.. he is a completely different kid. He is more alert and much more happy than he was before... thank u purple for this mattress. It is a miracle for my miracle..;-)

Ordered my matress and it took 3 weeks exactly till it arrived. My old matress was a cheap memory foam one I had purchased online and it had collapsed and had quite the ravine in the middle of it. The first night was amazing and 3 weeks later it's still amazing. I used to wake up every day with some minor lower back pain but not anymore. I highly recommend this matress to anyone. It was well worth the wait. Now all I want is to try the purple pillow when it becomes available. But if it's like the matress I'm sure I'm going to love it. As a side note I really did my research on this matress before I bought to make sure I had the proper frame matress protector and sheets to get the most out of it. If your thinking about buying or if you bought and don't seem to like it make sure you are using it correctly before you decide.

We've had a spring mattress, a memory foam mattress, and we finally switched to Purple. I haven't had back pain one day in the 3 weeks since we got the mattress. My fiancee is notorious for waking up in the middle of the night, but has said he hasn't woken up in the middle of the night once on the Purple. We love it!!

Everything about our new Purple king frame and mattress is wonderful! My only advice to the company... Warn people about how HEAVEY the mattress is! Yes, it was delivered to our front door and we were excited to set it up. My husband, adult daughter and I had so much trouble getting it up the stairs!!! If we had known we would have arranged for another man to help us! Please let customers know this ahead of time. We love our bed! Thank you!

My husband and I are both active and in our thirties. We were sleeping on a memory foam mattress, and were suffering from pretty intense back pain that was slowly but continuously getting worse. We decided to try the Purple Mattress. I didn't think it would make that big of difference, but it did!! After one week my back pain is absolutely gone! I would highly recommend this for anyone! You can always return it if it doesn't work for you.

I suffer from back pain, so it took me a while to decide which direction to go when buying my mattress. I did my research, and I went for purple. This is my first Purple mattress and I have to say that my lower back ache has definitely improve, I can feel the support that it provides to my body. I'm really happy with the purchase. Side note, I know that the mattress will not heal my lower back condition but I also know for a fact too, that it has improve my quality of life.

I have been watching commercials for this mattress for at least 4 years now and dreaming of waking up not feeling like I was hit by a mack truck. A few weeks ago we finally decided to get The Purple Mattress, and guys--it is SOoooo worth it!!! My back no longer hurts at all!! For the first time in years and after 2 kids, my back doesn't hurt.
