We love our purple mattress so much we bought one for my dad as a gift and he loves it too! We're going to upgrade to a king size and use our Queen for our guest bedroom so others can fall in love with it too! You will NOT be disappointed. I had chronic neck and back pain. We're talking waking up EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. with pain. I swear on everything I love I haven't woke up with pain since sleeping on the Purple Matress. For the price you just can't beat it!

So we started looking for a new mattress as our pillow top mattress was just not working for us as stomach/side sleepers. I did a LOT of research on all the new mattresses out there and well, the comparisons clearly pointed to this one! Well, we ordered the wrong size mattress (king vs Cal King)but were able to "upgrade" to the correct size at no additional charge! In the meantime, we were out of town, but the new mattress arrived soon after we returned home and I have been sleeping like a baby ever since! I have even been running pain free and have more energy during the day. Woo hoo! I highly recommend this mattress and am already anticipating getting into bed tonight!

Honestly the best mattress I've ever had, especially if you are tired of having to buy mattress pads to make your regular mattress bearable. I am a side sleeper, so I do suggest a lot of pillows for other side sleepers, as this mattress is a little more on the firm side so there is no built in neck support, but other than that great mattress! I've actually had to kick my roommate out a few times.

My wife and I have been enjoying our new Purple mattress for over 3 months now. It is the most comfortable bet that we've ever had. I used to have pain in my shoulders and back, but that has went away since sleeping in this bed. The only bad thing about our Purple mattress is that I've gained 10lbs because I no longer want to get out of bed in the morning and go to the gym.

I have lived with back pain since I was about 4 years old. This is the first bed I have ever had that has helped my back. The very first night I slept in the Purple bed, I woke up without back pain. I'm able to go from sleeping to getting up without having to stretch/pop my back for 20 minutes. We have already referred at least 4 people to get a Purple mattress, and I don't see us ever using another bed.

This is my and my husbands first mattress since we have been together. I researched for what seemed like for ever. I was tired of waking up sore and my back hurt all the time. My arms would fall asleep and I'd wake up at every time of the night just to re-position. Purple has changed everything. My back doesn't hurt all the time anymore. I don't wake up hurting. I sleep through the night, so I'm better rested. BUT it did take about 30 days to get to this. Yes, the first night was amazing, I have to saw, but my husband was -not- impressed. I begged him, wait 30 days and let me know. Just give it time. LO AND BEHOLD he actually showed off the mattress to his friend the other night! HAHA! Also, my dogs have decided they enjoy it too. I find them sneaking off to lay on it.

Was nice the first night but after being in the first group to buy it I hate it. My boss turned me onto to purple so I bought one. First off I am 6'1" tall and weigh 165 pounds. I in no way shape or form sink into it. My wife is 5'3" and 115 pounds and does not sink into it. Hip pain shoulder pain and numb hands is what we experience as side sleepers. I understand why they use a sheet of glass that covers the whole bed to protect the egg. I rate this bed slightly above sleeping on the floor but that's it. Don't have the money to buy the "new" technology they have nor could I be out of a bed long enough to send it back after the 100 days. Wanted to stick with a start up and hoped I would like but I guess that a tall skinny guy can't "sink"into this concept.

Took a couple nights to really get into the swing of it, but after a few weeks, I can definitely say that this mattress is a game changer. Dreams have literally come back, and any semblance of pain I may have felt before purple is completely gone now. Cannot recommend enough. Love it!

I slept on a top of the line (in 2005) Sealy Posturepedic pillowtop mattress (that was about 18-20" thick before I added a 5" cool gel memory foam mattress pad, making fitted sheets that actually fit and didn't pop off the sides and corners all but impossible to find) and low profile box springs for the last 12 years and it served me well for at least 8 of those. The mattress eventually started to hurt as my body weight increased due to health issues preventing me from exercising like I used to. After doing my due diligence and research I was fairly well convinced that the Purple mattress was going to be the best solution for me, in spite of the fact that I was buying it sight unseen and untested. I'll admit that those three weeks of anticipation were killing me waiting for my new bed (apparently a lot of people decided that they were also going to buy one at the same time, right after Xmas). The bed seemed hard at first. I weighed about 330lbs when it arrived so I was a significant amount above the recommended maximum. After sleeping on the bed for a month, it softened up a bit and I am at 305lbs now and fighting hard to get back under 300 with the ultimate goal of hitting 199lbs. I'm a side sleeper and I have severe obstructive sleep apnea, so I wear a mask and dream that I am flying a F/A 18 Super Hornet every night. The Purple bed really does a great job of relieving the pressure on the sides of my legs and aligning my spine. I don't wake up with back, neck, hip/leg pain anymore. Thanks Purple! I strongly recommend that you get one for yourself and give it a few months. You have nothing to lose but painful mornings. Also, if you are on the fence about spending the extra money on Purple sheets, do yourself a favor and buy them. In fact, even if you don't buy the bed, get the sheets. They are softer than anything else out there, stretch like elastic, have the strongest elastic on the fitted sheet I have ever seen (It will not pop off. Period.), they are warm as jersey or flannel, but they also breathe and don't make you sweat. Amazing products.

We bought our mattress back in May and I'd hoped this would be the answer to our prayers. Unfortunately, this mattress hurts my back so bad that I'm back to sleeping on the couch. We spent so much money on this and it ended up being a mistake. I'm sorry purple. I REALLY wanted you to be "the one."
