when I 1st received this (the ultimate) I thought what am I going to do with this? it's huge, but after using it I am so glad that I bought it I love how comfortable this cushion is. I have ankylosing spondylitis and horrible back pain. Now I can actually sit for some periods and get crafts done with out aggravating other symptoms. Now my husband wants one!

The difference this mattress makes to chronic back pain can't be overstated - it's amazing. I have had to travel overnight a few times since I've gotten it and I am *always* so grateful to be back home in my own bed. I wake up without being stiff or sore! I have recommended this mattress to several folk and I really hope for their sakes that they take my advice! I wouldn't trade this thing for anything.

I'm a bigger person ( 6foot 4inches, 300lbs), and the layers of foam under the purple surface started to lose support after about 60-70 days. anymore, if I sleep towards the edge of the mattress, it feels like I'm rolling downhill & about to fall on the floor as the foam layers have no support for me anymore. I definitely expected much more for the price I paid. still, its better than the lumpy worn mattress it replaced

Best sleep I've had in such a long time! Working in EMS we deal with crazy hours, used to i would go to bed 9 plus hours before a 24hr shift and spend half the night tossing and turning, i just thought i was a restless sleeper and that it was a my normal and needed more sleep than most... After the first night or two, I finally for the first time in my life Slept... Now 6 hours is plenty and i can wake up feeling like i slept 12 plus... Anything more than 6 hour is just pure unadulterated blissful, day off of course, sleep!!! No more waking up with daul shoulder pain, now i can lay flat, sleep all night and wake up in the exact same position I fell asleep in! The only thing that would make my nights better is if the service would buy enough to replace their old matteresses for both stations so i could sleep like this all the time and not have to wake up, go home and sleep another 6 hours plus just to make up for the tossing and turning i do at work now. Seriously... This matteresses= bliss

The Purple Mattress was recommended to me by a family member as I was purchasing furniture for my new apartment. From moving the mattress to my new place to removing it from its packaging and getting it onto the frame, the process was a breeze. I've had it for roughly three weeks and so far so great. It's extremely comfortable and I'm so happy I invested in this mattress!

We had a great experience trying the Purple mattress. My brother and sister-in-law have one, and raved about it, so it was my first choice when we needed a new mattress. Unfortunately, the mattress didn't work with my bad back. It was very comfortable, but I needed something firmer. Delivery was faster than the tracker stated, so we were thrilled to get the mattresses early. We had a bit of trouble cutting the purple wrapper open with the device they sent, but were able to open it with scissors. I will warn you that these mattresses are HEAVY!! We ordered two twins to go with a king adjustable frame. It took two of us to lift it, and that was a struggle when it was expanded. I can't imagine having to open and move a larger mattress or someone trying to do this all by themselves. I do wish they offered a delivery service. We tried the mattress for over a month, hoping it would "break in" and work for my back. Unfortunately that didn't happen. It was probably about 50 days from purchase when I e-mailed to inquire about returning the mattress. NO QUESTIONS ASKED! They offered to let me find a company to donate it to. I was really surprised that no companies took donated mattresses around here. Therefore, they sent a company to take it for recycling. I had the money back in my account the same day. I highly encourage anyone to give this company a try! You really can't go wrong with this easy return policy and great customer service!

I loved how purple backs up its claims with science and demonstrations and on top of it all, you get 100-night trial. With all this confidence I knew I had to try it. And once I did both my wife and I were amazed. We loved it so much we've been telling just about anyone that would listen to us about purple. We even bought a second one and will slowly replace all the mattresses in our house to purple mattresses. I also love the sheets that we got. Softest most comfortable sheets ever. I've never had a bad nights sleep even when my 1 years old wakes us up in the middle of the night haha. Eventually, I want to try their pillows and test that out.

The Purple came much quicker than the website said it would. Customer service was extremely helpful when I didn't think it would arrive in time. The mattress came in easy to carry packaging and set up was a breeze. My son has really enjoyed the bed. The free sheets are soft and stretchy. Am considering returning my mattress to get a Purple!

I am really thrilled with my mattress. Not only does it keep me cooler, but after about a week of sleeping on it, my joint pain was reduced significantly. I get up more rested and more ready to face the day. I historically prefer a soft mattress, and at first try this does not seem soft, but after a couple of nights, I fell in love.

I've had my Purple mattress for about two weeks now and was honestly expecting it to be life changing. I'm extremely disappointed. The mattress is extremely firm, so firm that my back hurts when I wake up in the morning. I am also used to falling asleep on my side, however I can't sleep in this position as it physically hurts. I have no doubt that the r&d behind this product is top notch...I just think that it's suitable for people who are used to/seeking firm mattresses. I would give anything to have my 12-year old spring mattress back. Unfortunately I'm going to just suck it up for as long as I can stand as I can't return this since it was a gift.
