This mattress is pretty supportive, I haven't woken up with any back pain yet. BUT the bed to me isn't actually what I would call comfortable. It's pretty firm. If you run your hand on the mattress you can feel the purple gird, which just feels a little odd. Had we laid in the bed before we bought it, we probably wouldn't have! Since we have it and are generally pain free in the mornings, we decided just to keep it. It's an okay mattress, but we're mainly keeping it for the 10 year warranty since most of our beds have start to sag within a couple years

I'm not usually one to write a review on any product but my experience with the purple mattress has been heavenly!!!! I sleep well! I don't wake up with aches and pains anymore! I can sleep on my stomach without feeling the pressure on my lower back! I am so happy that I made this purchase. The only problem that I have with this mattress is that it's so COMFORTABLE THAT IT'S HARD TO GET OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING which has made me late for work quite a few times. LOL!

I'm a disabled combat veteran, and have hip, back, and neck issues. I recently decided to take a gamble, and buy a Cali King Purple mattress. I say gamble, because I couldn't lay on one before purchasing... but the 100 day guarantee gave me the security to go for it. Am I glad I did. The Purple mattress provides a different type of support - a total support; specifically, my lower back, hips, and shoulders are cradled in this bed - while it also provides support to the rest of my body. Normally beds give way to your heaviest areas, but then don't provide enough support the the immediate areas (ex: butt presses down, so mattress doesn't recover enough for full lower back support). When my wife laid down on it for the first time, she summarized it the best by saying, "I can feel is supporting my lower back - I didn't realize our last mattress wasn't until right now." I am one happy customer, and am very glad I chanced this mattress. This mattress has eased my pain, and greatly improved my quality of sleep. Previously, we though we were getting good rest... but now? We wake up as if we've come from deep stasis- completely rested and rejuvenated. This bed is amazing.

I heard about purple from a friend and had to research. I ordered that night. It took some time receive; it was worth it! I wake up and have 0 back pain. Even my knee no longer hurts. I will upgrade when I move to a King, I definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you Purple!

This mattress sleeps hot i mean hotter than if you have a cheap memory foam topper this mattress sleeps hard if you like soft and comfortable this is not the mattress for you ive been sleeping on this for a few weeks now and it still hasnt gotten better but im still trying they say it takes a bit for your body to adjust it hasnt yet but im trying

I had heard of people ranting and racing about the awesome sleep they were getting on the Purple mattress so I decided to get one too. It was time to replace my old mattress and I could really use some of that amazing sleep that I was hearing about. I've had the Purple mattress for about a month now and I can honestly say that it is a great mattress. Soft and firm at the same time and sleeps cool as advertised but what didn't happen was the "miracle sleep" that I would write home to mom about. I found that I actually needed to get use to being supported while I sleep. Seems weird to say but other purple mattress owners can probably confirm this. After a month I can say that I have had the most consistent and comfortable sleep that I've had in a long time. It wasn't an overnight turn around but my back doesn't hurt anymore and I can actually sleep through the night.

After having researched beds/mattresses of all kinds for over six months, I opted for the Purple. I'm SO prepared to love the mattress, bed frame and pillow, but struggling getting used to the feel of it. Am giving it my best shot in adjusting to the firmness, but may have to resort to a softer mattress and return the Purple items. :(

After doing exhaustive research into the seemingly endless mattress options out there, Purple sold me on their polymer grid technology. My wife and I are both multi-position sleepers (aka we flop around quite a bit) and do not like the sunk-in-quicksand feeling of a memory foam mattress. We want to able to roll easily when we choose to. So far we've have our Purple mattress for about 3 months and I - well, my back - thanks me every night I lay down on it. The mattress is extremely comfortable whether lying on back, side, or stomach. I would highly recommend this mattress to anyone looking to invest in a comfortable night's sleep. You won't regret it. Also, I should note that ordering, delivery, and set up were all very easy. I am not a paid reviewer, just a regular guy who is trying to help someone else navigate the confusing and overwhelming task of buying a modern mattress!

I was happy to purchase the Purple Mattress, Sheets, and Pillow. Sales and Customer Service were excellent and very responsive. Unfortunately, the mattress and pillow were too firm for our liking. The sheets are light and cool, though. Purple Returns were friendly and responsive. Ben, from the charity to where the mattress was donated was great as well. The refund came in one day. All in all a classy experience. I wish your company success!

The biggest problem was that the bed (or maybe just me in the night) gets really hot, which is weird because of the "airflow" design. Also, its extremely firm, which can be fine, but I find myself shifting and moving to find a good position. Only dealing with it because its better than sleeping on the floor, but even that is only the case some of the time.
