Initially I loved my purple. It felt great, slept cool, and supported me while I slept. Now, I have had the mattress for less than a year and have severe back pain every morning. I have back problems as it is, and now its even worse. It will sag where you sleep. When I roll from one side to the other of the bed, its like going on a roller coaster. I start out low, go up over a hump, and back down on the other side. I checked my box spring and even put a water cooler jug on it, and it does the same. DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS! It wears out very quickly and the initial great feeling that lasts less than a year is not worth the amount of money they are charging for this product. You are better off buying from a competitor. I have been trying to either get a refund or a better quality mattress from Purple all morning and I have not yet been able to even speak with someone from the company.

Ordered to replaced a 12 year old box spring. Packaging was well thought out but the bed sleeps about the same as the old bed. Wouldn't say it was a waste of money but not overly impressed with it. The price was good for what it is and I didn't haft to go to any stores and get bothered.

I was assured by Purple this mattress was for ppl. W/ lower back pain. I have had this mattress over 6 mos now and my back pain is the worst it ever was. I get up each morning in excruciating pain. I can hardly walk from my bed to the bathroom. It is getting worse each day. I know it's the mattress because when I get up and walk around my back gets better. After I sleep I wake up w/ extreme pain back, hips & neck. It's way too soft I sink into it. I can't even sit on it w/ out causing lower back pain. It's crippling me. I can't even turn over in bed w/ this mattress I am in agonizing pain. If you can suggest another mattress I will buy it. I can't do this anymore. Please Help me I beg you.

I bought this bed for my husband! He has sciatica, extremely painful back pain that runs down his leg..and every morning before work he had to stretch on the floor because his back ached so badly. Since day one this bed has been a blessing! He has not needed to stretch in the morning! He is a new man because of the comfort and sleep he gets now. No complaints from me either. I normally sleep on my left side due to constant pain on my right. I was very surprised to be able to sleep on either side with no pain from pressure. I would definitely recommend this bed!

I recently purchased this magnificent bed. I was weary about the price, but it was totally worth every penny. I have only had the bed for a week and I can honestly say I have never had a better nights sleep. I am a side sleeper and I am currently pregnant so the support and comfort is very important for me. I also have suffered from back issues since a car accident about 6yrs ago, I can now start sleeping on my back and wake up on my back like I never moved through the night. Plus I have noticed I sleep longer and don't seem to get up in the middle of the night. I cannot praise enough on how this is changing my life. I couldn't be more happier and praise this bed to whomever I can. Thank You so much!!

I purchased a Purple matteress a few years back and it was an imrovement over the old coil matteress I was using. I rally liked it but my wife liked it more. She stole it and I moved to an old sleep number matteress. It was OK but I wanted something like the purple matteress. After doing a bunch of looking, I choose the Brooklyn Bedding Aurora matteress. I loved the comfort but it was very thick and heavy. The materess cover was very slick and I was not able to keep a bottom fitted sheet on the matteress without using sheet suspenders. I gave up on it and bought this purple mattress to replace it. However, the purple is not nearly as comfortable. My sleep numbers from fitbit dropped. I am having back pain that I did not get before. I really miss the Brooklyn Bedding aurora. I will be returning this mattress and getting the Brooklyn Bedding Spartan bed. Same form with a different mattress cover.

i really hope that it last as long as they say, and that it is (with the mattress protector, etc..) that is will stand up to punishment as much as they say. The mattress and the sheets and pillowcase make for an exceptionally comfortable sleeping experience.

Mattress is the best ever, but you put other things on me I did not appreciate. I did not appreciate being told that, even though the platform made noise (and your sumo wrestlers bragged that it was quiet) I could not return it. And to think that I paid even more for a wonderful power base. (Love the power base!) So ultimately I did not need the platform because I gave you even more business by purchasing a power base. But even if I did not buy a power base, I still was not pleased with the platform. I would think that you'd make an exception for someone like me who ponied up a lot more cash. But you should even accept a return of the platform from someone who did not buy a power base or anything more. I was surprised to experience that the platform did not cut it and I thought that everything Purple did was excellent. These are my thoughts. Now you can stop sending me this email request for a review.

Received my Purple Mattress and set it up that night. Went to bed and I was asleep as soon as I laid my head down. Woke up the next morning to no pain in my back!!! It felt awesome and sleeping thru the night was unbelievable!! Now if someone can find a cure for tinnitus I will be over the moon, happy!!!

We have both gotten a better night of sleep since we got our new bed. We would have given a 5 star but for one issue with the mattress. It feels like it's arched. The middle is higher than the sides. It's definitely noticable it feels like we're about to roll off the bed.
