I bought this for my grandson who's 17 and has a bone disease. His first night sleeping on the bed, he said he got the best night sleep of his life! This bed was recommend by his doctor n my daughter couldn't afford it for him, so a friend gave me $ 150 n said get the kid a good mattress, so we did.Thank you so much. Ever since we got a purple mattress, my husband and I feel rested when we wake up, and we dream all night long! It's hard to leave bed in the morning! And the Purple Bamboo sheets we ordered are amazing. We are both eagerly awaiting our Purple Pillows. This review may sound fake, but it isn't! We are in heaven. One of the best purchases we have ever made, because getting a good night's sleep is so important!!

I purchased and returned the XL Twin.The only reason for the return was the purchase was for my daughter and she had just purchased bedding for a full. I am looking to make a purchase for myself in the coming months. The experience was very pleasant, and the return seamless. I was very happy with the total experience.

I was really excited for this mattress, and upon getting approved through Affirm I was elated when I placed the order for my mattress. After paying and talking with purple, they told me they would not know when my product would be arriving until it was actually shipped. This kinda threw a wrench in things as I was leaving for a business trip in the coming week. They told me a soon as I got a tracking number I would be able to call FedEx and place a hold on the shipment. Fast forward a few days and purple emails me letting me know that my mattress has been shipped, no surprise - the delivery date is one day after I leave for a 3 week business trip. I then call FedExas purple advised me to and requested for them to place a hold on my mattress delivery date. They informed me that normally this would be not a problem and it's called a "vacation hold" but unfortunately purple no longer allowed vacation holds on their shipments (as it's up to the shipper, their expense). Now most people could have it held at a FedEx location for pick up when they get back but I physically am not able to drive for medical reasons, so that was not an option for me. I spoke with a FedEx manager who put a note on the shipment asking them to hold delivery until a certain date and I even left a note on my door asking the driver to hold it - but the mattress was left on my door step. I live in a condo in Miami Beach, not necessarily the best place for packages of any sort to be left on the doorstep. I contacted purple multiple times and asked them to have someone please come pick up the mattress. They told me the only thing I could do was cancel my order and then they would send someone to come pick up the mattress and take it back and then I would have to re-purchase the mattress. This is so far from quality customer service it's insane. Luckily when I returned home the mattress was there, but had been rained on, and was wet inside and out. after opening and allowing the mattress to dry I really have done my best to try and adapt to this mattress the past few weeks but unfortunately I don't think it's for me. I'm not sure if being wet and sitting out in the sun for weeks damaged it but this mattress is just not as advertised. The gel layer on top is not as bouncy or as soft to the touch as the pillow is, and truthfully I wish I did not give my old mattress away because I would be sleeping much better on that. While I'm on that topic, the pillow is an absolute disaster. I am a 6 foot 215 pound male who sleeps on his side often - and this pillow is nearly impossible to use. The pillow is maybe two or 3 inches thick, and my neck is crooked down to even make contact with the pillow when on my side. If you're a back sleeper this pillow is probably great, it feels good to the touch, the gel is super awesome - it the mattress get half as good as the pillow I'd be happy. If the pillow were 2x thicker I would love it! Overall, pretty unhappy, will be returning this and ordering from another company.

I was hesitant at first to purchase a mattress in this fashion until I came to grips with the fact that many of my purchases are made "product unseen" and online these days. Plus, it is truly risk free. Once I pulled the trigger, I can honestly say we are thrilled with this mattress. Soft and supportive in all the right places, high quality, "cool" to sleep on versus other foam options which seem rather hot, and the service was fantastic. I regularly encourage our friends to lay on our bed and try and it out and everyone's first reaction is just a huge sigh of comfort.

Having the purple mattress was one of the best investments in my life. The first thing I noticed about the purple mattress is that, typically I sleep on my side and when I sleep on any other bed I will periodically wake up because of my sides or hips being sore. Throughout the night i'll wake up a couple times to roll around and come morning i've slept, but it sure wasn't a restful sleep. With the purple mattress I sleep on my sides and I wake up on the same side with no pain on my hips. I really do appreciate the purple company for their products, I can tell they've done their research for creating the best possible bed. Thank you!

My previous mattress was getting old and I decided it was time to replace it. A friend of mine had mentioned Purple mattresses a while ago and I decided to give one a try. So far, it has worked well for me. With my previous mattress I would wake up with a stiff upper back and shoulders if I slept on my sides during the night. I have been feeling significantly better when waking up in the morning with the Purple mattress.

First let's start by saying shipping was quicker than expected, also the matress is a bit heavy, should have noted that when the pillows arrived first. However after a few weeks of shuffling things around and building my new bed frame for this matress I was finally able to sleep on it. First thing I noticed was it puffed up quickly, the sheets have a nice weight to them and fit the matress beautifully, the pillows are revolutionary these things are amazing (you will win all the pillow fights). After spending the night on this thing that I will call the future of everything sleep, I am thoroughly impressed with this investment in my sleep life. Definitely will be buying another set of pillows and a few other accessories. Will update later after more hours have accrued to see what the longevity is like.

My wife and I were worried that since we couldn't see or feel the mattress before we bought it that we might not like it. The 101 night sleep guarantee convinced us to give it a try. Although it was heavy (we have the King size), we were able to get it upstairs and onto the frame and unraveled much easier than we had thought. We kept our old memory foam mattress set in our guest bedroom thinking we might have to put it back. When we first laid on the Purple we were already sold. It was amazingly comfortable. We have had it now for more than 30 days and threw away the old mattress set. I was always a side sleeper partially because I just couldn't get comfortable laying on my back. I always felt like my back and hips were sinking too far into the old mattress and not allowing my spine to be aligned which I believe led to increased lower back pain even though we had spent thousands on the memory foam set. I am now favoring sleeping more on my back and wake up way more pain free and refreshed that I EVER have. My wife and I are both sleeping way more soundly and when we do roll over, we can hardly feel any motion at all form each others movements. One last thing. I monitor my sleep with a smart watch and smart phone and have been even before I got the Purple. I have had an increase in deep sleep cycles since getting the Purple, up from an average of 5-6 to an average of 7-8. We love the Purple and are so grateful for this technology and the amazing difference it has made for us.

King size mattress helped my back pain at the cost of peaceful sleep for me. Probably because I'm used to a soft mattress. But it killed my wife's back for 3 weeks. She started to come around in the 4th week and it was getting better, but I was losing restful sleep and it affected my promptness to work. Company was great through the entire process from start to finish! They stood by their word and responded rapidly on every transaction. Love what they are doing as a business!!!!
