This is our 4th Purple mattress. This twin mattress is the smallest size we bought so far for our kid’s Montessori floor bed. It is firm, feels cool (HI weather), and seems to be durable. It’s expensive like other Purple mattresses but I’d say it’s worth it for the long run.

Have been having loads of neck and sever lower back issues, since sleeping on Purple the have virtually disappeared! I am in mid mid 30's and was beginning to think something was seriously wrong with the amount of discomfort I was having, turns out a purple mattress and some nice pillows (not purple brand) were all I needed. I'm am now sleeping in full comfort for the first tome in my life. It's a shame it took 30+ years to figure it out!

While the mattress and sheets do keep me much more comfortable in regard to coolness it is not providing the physical comfort for sleeping I was anticipating I am going to give it another week or so in fairness but will return it if I cant get satisfaction

I have only had this bed for less than a month. They say give it at least 21 days before you form an opinion. First reaction was that it is different from other memory foam style beds that I have. It took about a week and then my night of sleep started improving. Not perfect (yet) but a big improvement. If it stays this way for 6 months I would rate it a definite 5 stars. Also, I am a side sleeper. I use to wake up many times to "puff" up pillow and toss and turn to get back to sleep. Now my shoulders seem to compress deeper into the mattress allowing my head alignment with the pillow to seem perfect all night leading to less tossing and turning. This has been the biggest improvement so far. There seems to be a lot less pressure on my hips now. Overall, I am happy.

After the 100 day trial, we just couldn't sleep in it, as it was too firm. If you sleep on it with no covering (directly on the the purple grid) you don't notice it as the purple grid is nice and squishy. But once you put sheets on it (even the recommended ones) It moves into the realm of being a bit too firm overall (for us). It would be nice if there was a softer version.

I was suffering from such bad back and hip pain in our old mattress, that I would get up at night and go sleep in the guest room. With the Purple, it's opposite. The new bed supports while softly sinking in, so the guest mattress now feels horrible in comparison. I'm a side sleeper. My husband is a stomach sleeper. He was worried about getting the new mattress because he slept fine on the old one. He sleeps even better now - saying that he didn't realize the uncomfort that he actually felt with the old memory foam one until he tried this one. It took a little getting used to for sleeping, but the pain relief was immediate.

My husband and I are obsessed with our new king Purple. It's so comfortable, soft but supportive, and just magical for a great night's sleep, as well as other popular mattress activities. ;) The base is well built too, and doesn't move or squeak or do anything annoying - and the mattress sits nicely on it. We couldn't be happier!

I had a traditional memory foam mattress for about 8 years. It was ok but HOT! I would wake up around 3 am every single night drenched in sweat! Gross! That hasn't happened once since getting the Purple mattress. It's a little firmer than my old one, but I've adjusted to it after a few weeks of sleeping on it. I do mean- on the mattress- not "in" it. It's almost like you float above it but not really. Such a hard thing to describe. I love the mattress and I'm happy with my purchase.

I built up what the mattress was gonna be like and disappointed myself. Everything they claim is true and it is definitely superior to a lot of memory foam mattress. I've go the original mattress even though I'm a bigger guy I wanted the firmer options. It's not as cool as I hoped it would be, in fact it actually sleep warmer than my cheap mattress I replaced, but that is the only downside and in realistically it could just be me. My back and legs don't hurt nearly as much and I have a lot more energy during the day. I'm really not a big fan of the purple pillows. They're to firm and while I did sleep well with them I'd also I'd wake up with my ears feeling like I'd fallen asleep on the arm of a couch. On that plus side it fits perfectly in the cloths basket my very strange little dig likes to sleep in and she LOVES IT! So far I do not regret the insane amount of money I spend on the sheets, which are stretchy and great for movers and shakers such as myself (should have went with a different color. The Sand reminds of the 1960s stuff my grandma had. To me it's not as visually pleasing as I thought.) The mattress protector (which is my arch enemy at the moment and fear the day I have to do battle with it again trying to get it on.) makes the bed crinkle a bit but i WOULD NOT BUY THE MATTRESS WITH OUT IT! The bed frame which is awesome and it's nice and sturdy so as a bigger guy I'm not worried about it snapping in half and folding me up in the mattress. All in all it is worth every penny I spent and I will be buying new sheets to go with the bed. Not because they're ugly but because they're so nice. Different color for sure though

The bed is surprisingly springy, yet hard. I find when sleeping on my side, my shoulder feels like it's wedged between my face and a very hard surface. I have adjusted a little over the last few weeks, but still a bit harder than I would have liked. I do like that I can sleep on my stomach again without sinking in and suffocating like a memory foam mattress!
