I have tried many mattresses and few have ever been comfortable for me. My wife like a soft pillow top mattress, I like a very firm mattress. So, I was very apprehensive about trying a new bed, but with a 100 night guarantee, what was there to lose? OK, so I decided to go with the PowerBase and the split-king setup, basically two Twin-XL mattresses side-by-side. Just as note for those who need to know, the King PowerBase, is actually two Twin-XL PowerBases side-by-side, and it works great. Just be sure to get split-King sheets sets (5 pieces). The Purple Mattress IS THE BEST MATTRESS I have ever slept on! I still have 90 days left on my test period and can tell you now that the Purple Bed is NOT going back. I love this bed and look forward to going to bed every night. My back has never been better and I sleep like a baby. The mattress is different than other mattresses, and I thought it would be too soft for me, but it is perfect. I find it very firm and supporting. My wife finds it soft like she likes it...go figure, firm enough for me, and soft enough for her, wow, how did they do that? I can't say enough about how much I like the Purple Bed. The PowerBase is fantastic too and really adds that extra WOW factor to the entire bed. It was not cheap at just over $4ooo with tax, but it was WELL WORTH IT! Also, I ordered it on a Saturday afternoon and was sleeping on it the next Friday night. It was easy to setup, but does require two people to do it correctly as suggested. Delivery was perfect and everything arrived in excellent condition. The only thing I did not receive yet is the mattress protectors which I guess are on back order? I am going to purchase another Purple Bed for my vacation home cause I just don't want to be without it, even on vacation. :-)

My wife brought her crappy soft mattress to our marriage and for the last five years I go off and on between it and a cot because the softness of the mattress was hurting my back and i always woke up so groggy. This thing is, my wife loved it. I showed her the purple commercial and did some light research. We got the king size Purple and I have to say, we love it so much. As a 'firmy" I love how if only gives my the support where needed and my wife as a 'softy" loves how the purple mattress in some mysterious way feels like its giving you a hug. love the mattress.

We have only had the mattress about 3 weeks but we have enjoyed it very much. The way it feels is exactly how described. Firm where you need it and soft where you want it. Lower back pain is almost gone. I sleep deeper and that helps with lifting recovery.

Of course I was a skeptic before buying this mattress! I've tried all the expensive ones, ALL of them! I have severe shoulder issues when I sleep. I have to sleep almost in a full sitting up position. While the bed didn't take away the nerve pain, it DID take away all the pressure pain!! Normally I would wake up several times during the night with pain in my hip, but thanks to the Purple Mattress, It's firm enough AND soft enough to ease that pain! No longer a skeptic and I DO sleep through the night now! Thank you purple for making a great product and standing behind it!

My wife wanted a really hard bed. We got one. Her back aches improved but it felt like I was sleeping on the ground. I had resigned to a life of camping in my own bedroom when I stumbled onto the Purple ad online. What a serendipitous moment! Now we're both happy. She gets her firmness and I get my comfort. The mattress came and the excitement was high. This was our first queen size mattress purchase as a couple. We both wake up with back pain. The mattress noticeably slopes toward the middle which makes sleeping through the night impossible. It's been almost two months. For the past week we've been taking turns sleeping on the couch.

It is a surprisingly great mattress. I say surprisingly because i'd never had anything except a spring based mattress before, and i bought this at the recommendation of my co-worker, who had purchased one themselves weeks earlier. I was a bit worried it would be too soft, as i like a firmer mattress, but the purple gives amazing support and once i got used to the strange texture, i slept really well on it, and have since.

We upgraded from an older memory foam mattress. This is definitely better than that. But it's not the perfect mattress. We may try to do one of the upgraded Purple models. Maybe the .3. The mattress is a little smaller than advertised (height wise). And there's the feeling you have to get adjusted to when you first lay on it (the hyper elastic polymer grid). One good thing is there is not a lot of motion transfer, and that was impacting my wife and I a lot when someone rolls/turns over. Overall I would recommend it, but we are still not 100% satisfied yet.

I purchased a purple mattress and bed frame October 2018 and is been hurting my back for a while thinking it was the base since the one I purchased with purple company is not very sturdy and squeaking i moved the bed to a different base but my back still hurts too much at the beginning the mattress was perfect but with time there is a big difference in support.

We have been using our first purple mattress for over a year and LOVE it. We love it so much that we bought 2 more for our other bedrooms. The kids begged us to get the purple mattress for them when we moved and we did it. This is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on and a year later I love it just as much as we did when we first bought it. It has kept its shape and is so comfortable!
