The first couple weeks it was really hard to get comfortable and fall asleep. However, within the first week, for the first time I can remember, I awoke without back pain. My husband still is not in love with the mattress but he's finally used to it as well. It remains firm and cool. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase.

Mattress was good for a while. after a few months it sinks in where you sleep. Just as bad as my old mattress. If you sleep in the middle of the bed it is just like new again. Mine's only 6 months old and feels like 10 years old. would not recomend to anyone.

I had researched new, web based mattresses for some time. I cam acrossed purple and was really excited about it, it sound like want I needed. I held off on the purchase and continued to research and read reviews. Both of Purple and other options. I purchase purple around 2 months ago. It has been a very good mattress for us. The first few nights, I was a little sore, but I could tell it was just my body adjusting to a fully supportive mattress. As our previous mattress was around 10 years old and sagged a lot. After about 3 nights, the slight pain in morning stopped and I haven't had issues since. I highly recommend the Purple Mattress.

This is coming from someone who has stacked mattress toppers up for a bed for several years now, so anything from there is up! But, the Purple mattress is great. I use it on the floor. It's a little too heavy for me to drag to a different room if my apt. neighbors are too noisy, but that's what makes it a good bed. I kept my Therapedic topper because there is no place to roll it up and store it and it makes a nice addition. It fits my old sheets and that is good. Would I recommend it--absolutely! It is heavy so you will need some muscles to help with if you're like me, but I imagine it will be the last mattress I will ever buy.

Bought a Purple for the holidays and I will day it took a while to get to me but it was so worth it. I have back and neck problems that are normal for an old person and abysmally tragic for the college kid that I am, and after just a couple days of sleeping on Purple I noticed my back did not hurt anymore and my neck and head also don't feel as strained. I would definitely recommend Purple and the customer service is lovely as well! Helpful and clear when I called about my order.

We had high hopes for a purple mattress, but it was not for us. My wife is a sensitive sleeper and she found it unpleasant to sleep on, saying it was too soft in all the wrong places. She also said it was too hot. And I agree. It was too hot for me. I was so hot, it interrupted my sleep. Otherwise, I found it fine.

We bought three Purple mattresses for a second home we bought in South Carolina. My husband was sick when we were there last so we've actually used two of themSo far we are very pleased. They are a little less firm than our tempurpedic we sleep on at home. But that is a good thing as it is a little firm. I would definitely recommend.

I was skeptical after watching countless reviews and seeing the ads and videos everywhere. Delivery and setup was great. You can take it right from the box and unwrap it and sleep on it right away. It took about 2 weeks to adjust for me because my body was used to my old mattress. Im a side sleeper and I am sleeping great now. Highly recommend.

I've tried to describe the way it feels to other people and the best I can do is that it really is firm, yet soft. All my curvier areas are cradled by the mattress, while the rest of my body is supported. I can sleep on my stomach, back, both sides, and it feels great. I'm also looking forward to the summer, because I can tell already this mattress stays cool. I think its that weird purple rubber matterial and grid design that keeps air flow moving and temps down. P.S. I bought the plateform base and it's bomb too, sleek design, avg height to the ground, and a ton of storage space underneath!

When I first purchased purple, it was great. I was in love. The support was fantastic. I told all my friends and family about it. I've had it over three years now, and after about two years or less, I started to notice back pain. Since you cannot "flip" the mattress, only turn, it helped initially, but soon the same unsupportive feeling like the other side. The top of the mattress would feel firm, except for where my butt lied, which was really soft. I'm 6 foot tall, only 160 lbs. and am not satisfied with this purchase. The 10-year warranty is only for visibly sagging or dented top of 1", which mine is not visible. The top is just squishy and not supportive anymore for me and my partner (her back started hurting before mine, but I didn't believe it was the bed at first; she is 5'6" and 120 lbs). I've purchased a firm 3" latex topper, which helps, but nothing feels like it did originally. I'm just really sad this did not work. I really wanted to love Purple. I'm sorry I told my friends and family about Purple.
