I have to admit, I was a little worried buying a mattress online and my husband was BEYOND sceptical, ready to say "I told you so" if it didn't live up to the hype. We have both been ecstatic with the difference in our sleep and how we feel the next morning. My husband played NCAA Division 1 football (strong safety) and as a result has shoulder and back pain that is exaggerated when he sleeps. I was worried that with a foam type mattress it would be way too soft since he's 220 lbs. Quite the opposite. This mattress is remarkably firm, but in a good way. It gives where you want it to and is firm where it needs to be. As for me, I had hip pain as a side sleeper on our old mattress and it's non-existent now. We have told everyone we know about the Purple mattress! It's a godsend! We're "lifers" for sure!

I've had to sleep on a Tempurpedic Mattress for 25 odd years due to a back injury in High School. Even then, there are times I can't get out of bed without assistance. The Purple I bought is very similar to Viscoelastic Foam except the heat retention common to Tempurpedic. That said, after ~6 weeks of sleeping on it I can't say honestly that it's superior to Tempurpedic but it's also not inferior.

My fiance purchased a King sized mattress for my Christmas present (upgrade from our Queen). I purchased a memory foam mattress about 4 years ago and loved it...I just wanted more room! I was optimistic about the Purple mattress since I was familiar with the brand and heard good things about it. After it arrived and I unpacked it, I was still optimistic because just pushing my hands into the mattress and basically everything but laying on feels great with the mattress. I gave it the full 3 months and I just can't deal anymore...and here is why. The mattress feels like I'm laying on a flat, hard floor. I don't feel any major contouring when I'm laying down in any position, especially not the intense contouring felt when just pushing your hand into the mattress. I have also woken up in sweat multiple times...which never happened with my cooling memory foam mattress. -- I travel a lot for various things and spent a night out of town a week or so after receiving the mattress...then another week away about a month after that; I slept amazingly every night I was away. If you're into really hard beds, I'd suggest this bed for you. I have no complaints about the quality or company...just not my thing. I prefer to feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud! If you're interested in having a bed asap, this may not be for you. The mattress takes about 3 weeks to arrive at your door. --To add to this comment, this company's customer service is amazing. The first mattress sent out to us was damaged and their communication throughout the process of getting a replacement mattress was fantastic. They also offered free sheets and pillows for the hassle of waiting 3 more weeks for our mattress. I have already started the return process for my mattress and the excellent customer service doesn't change when you request a return.

I'm an active 37 y/o that suffered a Sciatic and Lumbar back injury 3 years ago and have had never ending recurring back problems since. After endless physical therapy, sleeping adjustments, and exercises, a new bed was my final out before going under the knife. Tony and Terry, this bed is the bomb . Some of the best sleep I've had in a few years and I wake up rested with no pain everyday. Side note: my wife is obsessed as well. Whatever you did here, you hit a grand slam. Thank you!!!

I have scoliosis and so I deal with back pain as a regular part of my life. And with my old mattress I would wake up every morning with back and neck pain. But my Purple mattress has helped so much! My back has never felt better first thing in the morning! Obviously I still deal with pain throughout the day, but it's made such a huge difference to be able to wake up and start the day without pain.

I absolutely love my new Purple bed. In fact I now have a new problem - I just want to stay in bed more than ever before. The only problem I had was getting it out of the packaging it came in. That thing was wrapped up tighter than a rubber glove stretched over bowling ball!

I got this bed as a gift from a close friend of mine. I told her I had been in the market for a new mattress for a while now. But it was comfortablity and longevity that had honestly the bed journey ridiculously long and exhausting. Between price and What I wanted to swear I slept/ laid in a million beds, but I wasn't ready to commit. I wanted ALL memory foam but I didn't want to be hot. I needed soft as a cloud but supportive to where it wouldn't dent. And I have bamboo pillows so I didn't want to be hot I wanted to be comfortable. Low and behold she showed up to my door with a huge purple roll out bed. All she said was "the reviews said this is the bed. It's better than a temperpedic and does all that extra stuff you want. And something with an egg. " we opened the bag and put it on my bed. Have my slept like an angel ever since. I have more support than my boyfriend and an amazing night sleep. Thank you friend for my gift. And everyone needs to buy one. Ps. I used the purple circle thing it came in for storage. I put my old memory foam, comforters, sheets and stuff inside.

I was a little skeptical to buy an out of the box mattress. I have a bad lower back and needed a good bed for our second home. My son's friend who is a military vet recommended this bed as he has a lot of physical problems and swears by this mattress so we gave it a try. I was in total shock! For the first time in a long time I slept through the night and woke up without the normal pain in my back. No need for the 100 day trial. We are considering getting another mattress for our primary home as well. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

Both myself and my partner have had a lot of back issues from our mattresses. Each year we talk about needing a new mattress but just have been concerned about spending a large amount of money & not getting good results. This is the best investment we could have ever made. We have both slept a lot better since we have gotten this mattress.

Purchased for our adjustable beds in our future retirement house. I had purchased the mattresses without telling my wife. I was gone on a flight when my wife traveled down to the house, to do some decorating. She set them up herself and it was such a Sweet surprise! She Loves them!! I traveled down and slept so amazing! My wife is still at the retirement house. I am going to need one to get her to come back home!!!
