I waited a little while before making my review because I really wanted to test it. I've had it for a few months now and I love it! So comfortable! I sleep on my side and my shoulder doesn't hurt in the morning with the Purple mattress like it used to with my old mattress. I have trouble sleeping anywhere else but my home now. I never want to leave my Purple mattress!

Almost perfect. Wish it we're just a tad softer. The Purple Pillow even more so. No real complaint with the mattress so far. The pillow, I am not as happy with. It's just too firm, and it feels like it weighs twenty pounds. Room for improvement. Hopefully I get used to it, or it softens up. Already tossed the box in the recycling, or I would seriously consider sending the pillow back. It's way firmer than the bed.

Hello, my name is Tim Murphy. My wife and I are Purple customers and have a story to share. Five years ago, we got the original Gen 1 Purple Mattress. Surprised by the purple sausage that came in the mail, we didn't know what to expect. Five years of good sleep later was the answer. While it may seem like everything was going well, eventually the mattress started to have issues with comfort, support, and us falling off the edge at times. I reached out to Customer Support with Purple and from the first person a few weeks ago, to the final phone call I made today to close out the ticket, everything has been like... well... sleeping on a Purple. We knew we had a 10 year warranty. Sometimes companies have issues with those. Not Purple. No Representative argued, found fault, tried to upsell us. Nothing. It was just: Address Tim and Clare's issue, make it right, follow through. What a great way to run a company. The old mattress was replaced with a Gen 3 mattress, which is even better than our Gen 1. The Gen 1 was picked up today free of charge from 1-800-GOTJUNK. No issues there, and the day I requested for the pickup was honored without question. All in all, Clare and I are over the moon on how easy the process was. Most companies, especially in 2020, are in a state of angst or panic it seems. Purple did everything right to make sure we were sleeping well. After all, without good sleep, the waking part of the day becomes just a chore. Finally, I have recommended Purple to quite a few friends and family members. My friend in Maryland got your Hybird mattress and says they love it. My cousin got a Gen 3, along with your pillows. Finally, while my Mom did not get a mattress, she did get some of your sheets and a pillow. We love being part of the Purple family. Great company with great people.

Excellent product! The "hatched" design is quite innovative, and provides support where I need it. I move a lot in my sleep, switching from one position to another. Purple manages to adapt to my sleeping styles, maintaining prime comfort throughout the night. I've had this mattress for about 3 months and I have no complaints.

My husband and I were having a lot of body aches and we knew it was because of our old mattress. I was looking for mattresses that would fit our budget and our needs. I was actually going to get a memory foam type mattress, but the have reputation for being hot and loosing shape overtime. I stumbled upon reviews of purple and was quite interested. After much discussion with my husband, we purchased the original type. My hips stopped hurting as much as they used to, my back feels much better. My husband falls asleep much faster and for all night (unless I wake him up). What took is by surprise was, we didn't realize how hot our last bed was! This mattress allows your whole body to breathe. I don't wake up in the middle of the night because heat and my husband doesn't sweat while sleeping! We got it with the mattress protector and let me tell you, it's worth it! It doesn't have a plastic feel. Its stretchable and it definitely protects. Also paired with the purple blankets. Amazing bes! I can't wait until I'm able to purchase their pillow! I need new pillows.

We love the firmness and the way it forms to the heavy places on the body. I'm a side sleeper and it is really comfortable and cool. My wife is a back sleeper and she is extremely pleased. The included pillow is great for a back sleeper but not so good for a side sleeper. Overall we couldn't be happier we replaced our Sleep Number.

...be careful unwrapping it. Not everyone has the luxury of having help when they unwrap this thing. I drug the roll into the bedroom and got it up on the bed OK, but when I cut away the wrapping it sprung open (because I had the edge of the roll on the top) and -beware- it will unroll with the bottom up. If you make sure the edge of the roll is on the bottom, you should be able to get it to pop open with the bottom side down. I have to wonder why they couldn't package them wrapped with the padded side on the inside rather than the outside so they would always pop open with the top side up. Other than that it's a great mattress and I like it alot. I wake up with much less stiffness (really !) and I'm 64.

So let me start by saying a year ago my husband and I purchased a new mattress (not purple brand). In 1 year we already made a warranty claim and in just 3 months of having the warranty replacement were again having issues with the mattress sagging and being lumpy and uncomfortable. We would both wake in the morning with neck, back, and leg pains. We talked about it and read many reviews and figured for 100 nights we could give it a shot. I was extremely skeptical I would like it, the first 3-4 nights I was not pleased and felt no better than before. My husband insisted we give it a few more nights. Right about the week mark I started noticing I was sleeping much better and waking with no aches or pains. Its been almost a month and I can now say I look forward to going to bed at night. I love my purple!

After a few nights of sleeping on it, I became accustomed to the feel of the mattress and it's fantastic. It does seem to cradle the body in the best way, providing a great amount of support and comfort. I have the 2" mattress, I weight about 190, and it's great for me. Best mattress that I've ever slept on, not to mention the luxurious sheets and pillow cases. In conjunction with daily stretching, the mattress has considerably helped to alleviate my back/sciatica/shoulder pain. Highly recommend! P.S. I am a combination back/side sleeper.

We love our new purple mattress. I love the feel of the "cells". My kids are always climbing in and begging for us to get them one. Very little "break in" period, if at all. We also got the sheets and they are the best sheets I have ever had! I cannot over sell them. They are amazing.
