My old bed was pillowtop and was fluffy and cozy. But I literally had to roll out onto the floor first and struggle to stand up with lower back pain. I have honestly woken up early every Morning and raring to go for the day. No back pain at all! I even recommended to my sister-in-law who just received hers yesterday.

Lots of hype and promises that you should "jump up and down" and "go crazy" with this new bed. Well, the bed is here and that remains to be seen. The shipping was delayed because of damage so the tracking changed by the day; first for the frame, then the bed. It was like waiting for the cable company. Then the bed arrived with a shredded cover, or "duffle" that is supposed to make carrying it much easier. Not so much. All I asked for was a replacement duffle to deliver it easier and protect the mattress inside. You would think this would not be a problem, but no! First, send photos. Then interrogation about whether the mattress was damaged before they decided it was worth it to send a replacement duffle. So much push back, I finally wrapped it in a tarp and got a couple of friends to help me. Inconvenient to say the least. Go with another company who values the customer.

Shipping and customer service is top notch. Mattress is great. Life changing. Platform base is great but makes a bit of a creaking noise. Pillows are great. Curious about washing them, if the powder is important, what do we do in the event the inside polymer is washed? Also, I wish you guys made pillow cases that fit the pillows. I use the king size purple pillow cases on them and as you can imagine its not pretty. Mattress protector is awesome. Lastly, I really wish you guys offered PURPLE SHEETS. Ha, come on, just do it already! thanks purple

So the first couple nights I was like omg what did i do this is not for me!!! I was sore etc BUT that was just my body adjusting to the new awesomeness! I seriously love getting into bed now and I don't get woke up by my husband getting in and out of bed or moving around. Totally worth the switch and the money! Thank you purple!

I had an old spring bed which I had for 6 years. It was collapsing and falling apart, I knew I had to get a new mattress. I did research and this one seemed prefect. I eagerly waited for it to ship and arrive! Once I got it was super easy to set up! And the first couple of nights felt weird since the next morning I expected my neck and back to hurt like usual. But with this bed it hasn't! I keep thinking in the morning my back hurts but then I realize it's my imagination since I was used to an aching back before. This bed is a god send!! I love it and wouldn't change my mind at all!!!

I brought the Purple because my wife was leaving bed for the recliner because of back pain. She would stay in bed for only half the night. With the new Purple mattress, she has slept the whole night through. She now has no complaints of back pain in the morning. The mattress supports her back perfectly. She is enjoying a full night's sleep. Thank you, Purple Mattress your a lifesaver. Barry

My mattress, when replaced, was about 4 years old. Not quite a full lifetime, but I was looking for a premium mattress and a size upgrade as well. Many friends recommended the Purple brand for its softness and support, and my first impression with the pillow and grid on the mattress was excellent. But now after a month or two, I'm finding that while I am comfortable in bed most often, I'm actually developing some upper back pain that really cannot be ignored... at 22 years old. Given the price tag and general reviews, I'm very surprised that I'm now considering a return.

What I read is that this mattress is supposed to keep you cool. What I experienced is that the mattress is cool when you lay down on it, but heats up to the point where I am rolling over just as often as I had to on my old mattress. In my opinion, I cannot recommend this mattress to anyone I know. Regretfully, Michael St Rosenberg

I'm not sure where to start. I weigh 370ish and I am side/stomach sleeper, I prefer a harder mattress. My wife sleeps exclusively on her side and likes a soft mattress. We weren't sure how we would do with this bed, but after looking at reviews and researching all kinds of different beds we decided to take the plunge. I immediately fell in love with the mattress, it was comfortable, my arms stopped falling asleep, and I was getting good sleep. I love that I can sleep clear at the edge of the bed without falling off. It is comfortable to sit and read on. My biggest concern for me was my weight, would I just go all the way down and feel like I was sleeping on a hard platform, this just wasn't the case, it is super comfortable for me too. My wife took about a week to finally decide if she liked it or not, but now loves it. She is getting great sleep as well. She says she doesn't feel me rolling around, getting in and out of bed, etc... and the hardness isn't like a hard mattress, it still has give to it. It sleeps nice and cool and I am so glad we chose it over any other mattress.

Our experience with Purple was awesome! We received the bed in a timely fashion and were able to try out the bed for two months. Unfortunately, my back did not do so well with the bed, so we ended up returning it. However, there were many great things about the bed. There are NO pressure points when you are laying down. It feels like you are laying on a cloud! Also, the bed is bouncy and springs back quickly, but does not stir the other person sleeping on the bed. The customer services was amazing. They were quick and timely with picking up the bed and issuing a refund. Awesome company!
