We bought this mattress after having a Tempurpedic. My husband is an orthopedic surgeon and thought this would be a good choice. We have had it for 3 years and my husband is very uncomfortable. I lay down on his side to see what was bothering him and there's a huge dip on his side. He weighs 200lbs, which isn't heavy. I don't feel like this should be happening!

The concept is great. The feel of the mattress is mildly firm. Feels great falling asleep on my back. Problem is that during the night, I turn to become a side sleeper. When I wake up, my hips are screaming in pain. I need to lay flat on my back to ease the pain. My wife is a side sleeper too, and she too has extreme hip pain upon waking up. It's over a month now, and only getting worse. So sorry, it needs to go back.

We got the regular mattress. It was perfect for my husband, but it made my back hurt because I'm a back sleeper and he's a belly sleeper. He likes firm and I'm used to a pillow top. We returned our mattress, and Purple was easy to work with and gave us a great experience.

I have had a bad back and muscle pain for many years. I have had a quality tempurpedic bed for the past 6 years. I bought the Purple mattress with the hope that it would be better than the mattress I already own. It was comparable. I have no problems with it but with it being about the same I intended to send it back with the 30 day guarantee. My 3 year old son took a nap on our bed and as fate would have it, wet on it. So... We are keeping the mattress! Now the mattress is very good quality. It was about 1/4 the price of our other mattress. If you are on a spring mattress or the like, buy this mattress - you will be very pleased. If you have a tempurpedic mattress already, well you might just love Purple more. That is my honest review...

Had the purple mattress for about a month now and am very happy with its performance. Most comfortable sleep I've had in a long time. No more achy back in the morning. Be sure to get the stretchy sheets they recommend to allow the mattress to cradle you instead of the sheets. For the price it's a high performance mattress of great quality. I also suggest getting the pillows my neck pain after sleep is no longer there. Highly recommend all of purple's products.

My wife and I went out on a limb and bought a purple matress with 2 harmony pillows. It took a couple of days to get adjusted to the feel of a purple matress, but after a few nights, my wife and I both began sleeping much better! Waking up without aches and feeling well rested - totally worth it!

While this no doubt a quality mattress made of quality materials and workmanship I'm sorry to say that this mattress just hasn't lived up to my expectations. I was hoping it would help alleviate my sciatica, but it hasn't. I still wake up in pain everyday. On the plus side, it has helped alleviate the pain and stiffness in my neck. But as for my back and right leg and foot, it hasn't helped at all. I was expecting a firm mattress thinking it was going to help with the sciatica, but this mattress is far too firm, in fact, its just plain hard. On a related note, my dog doesn't even doesn't like it and now sleeps on the floor! Sorry OnPurple, but I'll be starting the process for a refund.

Some people go through a lot of cars but we have gone through 5 mattresses in 12 years. One is too hot, one is too cold, another to hard and another too soft but the purple bed is just perfect for both of us. We are both middle aged and my wife has dealt with fibromyalgia pain for 30 years but with the purple bed she rarely tosses or turns. We both track our sleep in our Fitbit watch and both have improved since sleeping on the mattress for the last 2 weeks. It shows less time awake which we feel also means we are moving less. My wife also suffer with night sweats but has had no issues with the purple mattress. We can actually sleep in the same room again because this mattress is comfortable for both of us and the dogs don't complain either.

Purple took a few nights to get used to, but now that we are, my husband and I love it! His back pain has improved, and for me, it is the best mattress to sleep on while pregnant. This is my 7th pregnancy, so I am fairly experienced when I say that. At this point in my pregnancy, I would be pulling out pillows and stuffing them under me to try and get comfortable. The purple cradles me so well, that no extra support is needed. In fact, in the past, my round-ligament pain would be so severe at night that my husband had to lift me out of bed to try and sort it out. With purple, I just turn over to the side that hurts and within seconds the pain is gone. I assume it's the softness and support of the design. In any case, it's pretty awesome!

I was given my purple. The person that bought it said it didn't work for them. I got it from them and I love it. My back don't hurt daily. I would recommend this to others. I have five kids with all of them I had back labor. So it really helps my back big time.
