Pretty good
I sleep all over the place when I sleep and it was actually really nice. Way better than my last bed. I think it's also up to my bed frame. I am sure when I get a new one it will be more comfortable. But the bed is nice if you like a firm/medium bed if you're expecting a cloud this is not it. But it has that support that you do need. Mine and my boyfriends posture has gotten better no more neck or pelvis pain

Reunited & It Feels So Good! (Every Night)
The Purple mattress is incredible! Delivery and setup are a breeze, customer service is responsive and friendly. We wouldn't describe the mattress as firm or plush, but rather...perfect. My husband had been sleeping on the couch for 11 months due to discomfort from our mattress - now he's back in bed! We don't wake up in pain, and are able to enjoy sleeping in and hanging out in bed together. Stayed at a hotel last weekend and we couldn't wait to get back to our Purple bed!

"Comfy" but not cool...
I purchased the Purple bed mattress and sheets to replace a memory foam mattress I was sleeping on. The memory foam mattress was truly a comfortable mattress, however the mattress retained so much heat that I could never sleep well. (On cool nights my body surface touching the mattress overheated while the surface being covered only by one sheet would freeze.) While doing research for a better (cooler) sleeping mattress I came across the "Purple Mattress". Reviews and the company claim the mattress to be a "neutral" temperature mattress, so I placed an order and have now used the mattress for nearly 4 months. While it does "sleep cooler" than my memory foam mattress did, it is still what I would call a "HOT" sleeping mattress not a "neutral" temperature. I travel for business and can say that old school (high quality) spring mattresses in hotels generally sleep much "cooler" than my new Purple mattress does. It is however, a comfortable mattress and does seem to help relieve back pain I frequently have. Overall, its a "keeper" but I will be continuing my quest for a cool & comfortable night sleep.

not happy
OK so the whole shipping experience was a joke and a nightmare. Once all set up after a 2 week process the bed its self takes some time to get use to. Im actually still adjusting. Its weird and my back actually hurts more. They keep telling me it takes some time but we will see. I have had a few good nights sleep and that gave me hope that this will turn out like its suppose to however only time will tell. We will see what happens but so far not impressed. Reminds me of a normal matress

Purple Mattress
My wife and I needed a new mattress and slept on an expensive pillow top mattress from Verlo. Our mattress was at least 15 years old and the divites in the mattress were taking a toll on our backs. So after a ton of research we decided to go with the purple mattress. All I can say is wow. I am blown away on how much rested I am in the morning. No more turning and waking up at night with back issues. I really feel well rested in the morning. I read the other reviews on the purple mattress website and others were saying the same thing. As a skeptical consumer I thought they were just saying this because they were getting paid to make a bogus review. I truly have to say that this mattress changed me and my wife's life drastically by helping us get a good night's sleep. I used to get up at least 4 times to adjust because my back was sore. I am very athletic and work out 6 days a week so it was not an over weight issue. My posture on my old mattress was just not being corrected. This mattress contours and gives you the correct form that your back needs. The purple grid truly disperses the weight and the memory foam is supportive in every way. This bed isn't too soft or hard. It is just right. I love how the bed doesn't leave imprints or divots the next day. The bed goes back to the first day when you bought it. It is like a new bed every day! My mother in law just purchased a Verlo top of the line posturepedic bed. She already had to send it back in and get it restuffed because the pillow top and foam left a big divot where she sleeps. I would highly recommend testing out the trial period for this bed. You will not want to return this one after the first night sleeping on it.

I love my Purple bed - stomach sleeper with neck issues
I have always used an inner-spring mattress and as a no-pillow, stomach-sleeper have found foam to be too suffocating. I decided to give the Purple a try. The first time I laid on the bed a pain shot from my tailbone up my back and into my neck (I have trouble with my neck anyway). I thought, "oh no". But after that, I have found the bed to be extremely comfortable and I look forward to sleeping on it every night. I am also finding that I sleep more on my back and side (as my chiropractor prefers) than I used to and that all positions are comfortable. Lastly, while I still see my chiropractor every night, my neck has been a lot better than it has been in years. Happy with my Purple, and hoping it holds up over time.

Started off great. Now, it's not good.
It started out great for me. For my wife, however, it was just ok. She struggles with a sore back. Now, it's very bad for me, and it's been very bad for my wife. I wake up with a terribly sore back almost every morning. We are beyond our 100 days, so now it's a loss. :(

No more morning aches
I'd previously been waking up with an achy back, having to do morning stretches to work out the kinks. The first night sleeping on the Purple mattress, I noticed that my back felt great, and I just got up without any discomfort. My husband, also, was having problems with back spasms, and has not had any back complaints after our switch to the Purple. The feel of the mattress is very comfortable - feels super soft, squishy if you kneel on it, but lying flat you feel nicely supported. Also, it doesn't feel like it traps heat like foam - I'd say temperature wise it's about the same as our previous standard mattress. I was a little worried that the edges would be too squishy and would collapse if you sit on the edge, but actually it's not a problem - less firm on the edge than a standard mattress, but is fine to sit on. I was also worried about the weight, since I read so many people comment on how heavy it is. But we didn't have any trouble getting it on the bed, and I'd say it's no heavier than our previous queen size mattress, which is quite heavy. Though I can imagine it would be hard to move around a lot due to the less structured materials. To sum up, we're really happy with this purchase, it's been worth every penny.

Best Sleep Ever!
The purple mattress exceeded my expectations. I have never fallen asleep so quickly, so consistently in my entire life. The first night was definitely an adjustment from my Select Comfort bed (I'm a 35), but from night 2 - today has been deep, comfortable sleep throughout the night. There have been so many mornings that I wake up not noticing that my husband has already awoken and I didn't feel him get out of bed. I get anxious now when I travel because I will have to leave my Purple for some lesser mattress. Maybe it does take a rocket scientist to make the perfect mattress! Thanks Purple! with gratitude, The Purple people sleepers

Definitely a firm mattress.
It takes some getting used to. It supports the body and forces good posture. But if you're used to a soft bed or a sagging bed prepare to need new pillows. My wife hated it at first. She likes soft beds, but as her back began to align properly and soreness started to fade, she finally accepted the bed. Our bed was awful with a horrid sag. She liked the pillow top and liked sinking into the bed a little. I hated it, woke up in pain all the time. This bed has helped me out a bunch. I sleep better than ever, I don't wake up hurting anymore (unless, you count my awful old pillow that was replaced), I also wake up earlier and refreshed. My wife finally sleeps throughout the night and doesn't hurt. I'll be honest, it takes some getting used to. Its like laying on a pretty firm bed, but it contours your body slightly making your back feel aligned. I do wish my body did sink a little into the mattress allowing me to fall asleep faster, but when I do sleep, its good. Is it the most comfortable mattress? Not in my opinion, but I can definitely say, I'm not a fan of my ergonomic office chair either. Proper support isn't always cushy, sometimes its a lifestyle change. Is it uncomfortable? Far from it. Ever laid on the floor and thought why does this feel good on my back? Maybe because your back needs alignment or correction? I don't feel that need nowhere near as much anymore. I could probably stop feeling that way all together if I could stop slouching in my chair. Am I going to keep my mattress? You bet your sweet tush I am. Cushy is nice for falling asleep, but I'm tired of waking up hurting, listening to springs when I roll over at night, and shaking my wife awake as I try to escape for a glass of water. This bed is great at not passing along motion, being silent, and just being comfortable after working hard labor or wanting some support on my back.
