After doing months of research I finally decided to go with the Purple mattress. I bought a queen size signature mattress. The Good: The mattress is comfortable in a utilitarian kind of way. It took my husband and me about two weeks to adjust to the mattress. During those two weeks we woke up stiff. But this was to be expected. Now, it seems to be a good fit for us both. An odd sort of side-effect is that I've been having seriously vivid dreams. I assume it's because I've been getting better sleep. It's not a bad thing, just a surprise. We live in a cold climate and I noticed that the mattress is COLD. I fixed that by turning our electric blanket on about a half-hour before bed. The Bad: The mattress smell was noticeable for about three weeks. It wasn't over powering but it was detectable. Not my favorite smell. The non-recyclable (also bad): The purple duffel bag tube thing is vinyl and not recyclable! It's such a shame! During my research, I looked into the packing material to see what the deal was there. The purple website said that most of the packing was recyclable. I should have looked further. Worse, they have you cut open the vinyl bag to get the mattress out, so there is no chance of re-purposing the thing. It surprises me that will all the clever engineering that goes into the purple mattress, that something that simple can't be figured out. It would have seriously changed my decision process had I figured this out before I bought the mattress. All in all, the mattress itself is good. Not mind blowing, but it does what its supposed to do. Our backs don't hurt and we are getting good sleep. One thing that I was not expecting (probably everyone else did, except for me) was that you can feel the grid 100%. It took some getting used to. It's not terribly luxurious. It is fine, but I'm not sure how I feel about it at this point. Maybe it will grow on me. Will I buy another Purple mattress in 10 years? Honestly, I don't know. We'll see how long it takes for the mattress to sag, and if they can figure out a more eco-friendly way of packaging the thing.

I really enjoy my purple bed and I'm finally sleeping again and little to no back pain my only complaint is that as soon as I got my purple bed I found out you guys have a new model. So with that said I will be sending it back for a new model but I love it

So we really wanted to love the Purple mattress but ended up having to return. The reasons I give 5 stars: 1) I really do think it's a great mattress and you should try it. If it's not perfect, there's absolutely no problem getting your refund. 2) I've never dealt with better customer service. Seriously. Not a perfect fit? Literally no problem.

From the very first night, my husband and I slept amazing. We have not had a solid nights sleep for sometime before buying Purple. Between being hot sleepers and an old mattress, quality sleep was not being had in our bedroom. 3 weeks later and we are kicking ourselves for not buying one sooner. We definitely will be buying one soon for our son.

Dear Purple, We enjoyed our purple mattress, but unfortunately still found it to be too warm for us (especially my husband). Now, I will preface this by saying we are Minnesotans and prefer to be cool at night. Plus my husband has always run hot so for the average consumer, this would probably not be an issue. Thank you so much for your easy return/refund process. We appreciate the chance to give Purple a try and REALLY appreciate the prompt refund when we realized Purple did not work for us.

We've. Only had the mattress 30 days but so far it is ok. My wife and I found it took a while to adjust because of the level of support. We were sore for the first week and are settling in. We did notice that you should try to sleep on each area of the bed as it does seem to "loosen up". We were on our sides and noticed the middle to be firmer after a couple days.

I ordered a Purple mattress in May 2021, received it in June, and was able to open it mid-July to finally use. I wish I had moved faster with opening and using the mattress, because I have not been happy with it and missed the window to return. I find that it offers very little support and more pressure to my hips. If I lay on my side the wrong way, there is a lot of pressure on my shoulder as well. I have more back and hip pain than before having this mattress. I thought I had done all the correct research to find the best mattress for me, but this was not it. Now stuck with an expensive mattress and searching for a topper to make it bearable. Very disappointing.

Let me start off with I love our new mattress. I sleep incredibly and have no aches and pains. I love love love the mattress. That being said, the customer service and notifications leave a lot to be desired. We received our mattress shortly after ordering it. However, we did not receive the frame we ordered with it and had to call customer service to be told the frame was held up in customs. They had no idea as to when we would receive it and then all of the sudden, it arrived; with no communication from the company. I understand that they had more demand than they were expecting and these things happen, I just wish they communicated the current status more often or gave customers a way to check the status of their orders.

This is the second most awesome mattress I have ever had. (Previously, I had one that was all foam and I liked it better.) When I got on the bed, I thought the purple grid gave the whole thing a flimsy feel. But once I got used to it, I actually had a very comfortable night. It didn't feel flimsy at all. Except for the edges. My old mattress must have had some kind of reinforcement around the edges, because the edges were always quite firm. On more than on occasion, this firmness prevented me from falling out of bed because I could tell that I was at the edge. The Purple Mattress edges are as mushy and delightful as the rest of it, so I will need to pay more attention!

Honestly, Y'all, This is the best mattress I have ever had. I am a side sleeper...always.. however; with the purple mattress I notice that I sleep on my back as well. The Purple Mattress conforms to my body while still giving me phenomenal support. I NEVER wake up with a sore back like I did with previous mattresses. I wake up refreshed every single day. I recommend this mattress to anyone and everyone. I never realized the difference a well made mattress can make on your every day life until I tried the purple. Get you a Purple, You won't regret it!
