The main worry I had buying this was where some people said that you may have to get used to it. Well, if getting used to it was falling asleep soon after they set up the mattresses and the PowerBase while playing with the remotes features, then I guess that means I'm used to it. There are simply no pressure points. Maybe that's what they were getting used to; the expectation of having to get into a particular position so that you can feel comfortable. Slept like a baby.

I bought this mattress for my 90 year old aunt. She had her leg amputated due to a horrific accident and could never get comfortable in the bed provided by Medicare. I did a lot of research and found the Purple bed. She loves it. When I showed her the video, I told her that her tush would be like the egg and would be cradled all night long :)

If you need a mattress with support like a Tuft and Needle, this matress provides that plus a litttle layer of purple heaven, that makes a world of a difference to keep joints in contact with the mattress comfortable without getting sore. We woke up often with the T&N to change positions because of soreness on joints. Not since we got Purple.

Purple truly is the "Goldilocks" of mattresses. We tried several mattresses before we finally tried the Purple. Casper, Leesa, and Helix can't compare. Purple is just amazing! My husband likes very firm beds (basically rock hard) and I like a softer feel but still need support. All other mattresses either made his lower back hurt from being too soft or made my shoulders and spine hurt from being too hard. With Purple, we can finally both get a good night's sleep! It really is firm where you need it and soft where you want it. I sing Purple's praises to everyone I can. I have friends and family lay on our bed to see how comfortable it is. I want everyone to experience the awesomeness that is Purple. Thank you, thank you, thank you for existing! Now, if you could just make a Purple pillow, I may never get out of bed!

I love my Purple bed. I ended up having an issue with it but Purple came to the rescue and replaced it under warranty. It was a no hassle replacement. I highly recommend Purple because they seem to be honest and fair unlike other bed companies that I had issues in the past. Thank You, Lloyd

I'm a large guy (6'6, 280) who used to play a lot of sports, and because of that my body seems to be aging and aching more frequently than I hoped. My wife and I slept on a second-hand bed for 8 years, and after our last move we decided it was time for a new mattress. We looked in every brick-&-mortar store, and most online retailers. We happened upon the Purple introduction video on social media and decided to look into it. After reading reviews of many people who suffered from the same pain I experience, we decided the price was worth the chance, especially given the 100-night trial period. Upon delivery we immediately opened the package and laid down. The feeling is hard to explain fully. Most people are familiar with laying on a memory foam mattress, and while Purple does incorporate some memory foam, the real star of the show is the elastic polymer topper. It cradles every spot with just the right amount of support without ever feeling like you're sinking too far. I describe it to my friends as a "smart" product, as it feels like the mattress reacts to my shifts in body weight with amazing accuracy and pressure. I can't believe how much I love this mattress. Thank you, Purple, for allowing me the opportunity to have a restful, deep night of sleep again. I can't wait to go to sleep now. :-)

A little too much resistance on my bones/joints--has a 'bounce-back' quality that seems to cause stress whereas memory foam still gives me the greatest comfort and least joint resistance. But if I slept on my back or stomach, I think Purple would still be a good bed! (I wish I didn't sleep on my sides Lol)

I bought the original Purple mattress back in 2017 after trying a few memory foam mattresses and loved it. I kept it for a couple of years and eventually gave it to a friend when I moved in with my fiancée since she had just bought a new mattress (Tuft & Needle) and didn't want to get rid of it. I slept okay on it at first so I figured it was fine. A couple of months ago, I was no longer able to sleep through the night on the T&N, so I decided to get another Purple. A quick note, I'm about 5'11" and 180lbs, and primarily sleep on my side. Despite having owned one already, I'll still say that buying it again was one of the best purchases ever. I didn't even realize how much pain I had in my hips when waking up on the T&N until my first night on the new Purple. Just as with the first one, I: - Fall asleep faster - Wake up less frequently in the night - Have no pain anywhere when waking up I love this mattress. I have no plans to ever own a different brand of mattress - it's that good. Bonus for the super friendly support team that helped me exchange one of my Harmony pillows.

This mattress has the perfect amount of support. It feels firm, but also light, airy, and feels comfortable in all sleeping positions. I was never able to be a back sleeper, but this mattress allows for it. Also it is VERY cool (temperature). Looking forward to see how it is in hot summer months. The only thing I would change, is the packaging. Although the Purple bag is nice and great quality, rolled up in the plastic, in a big box would be fine for me. Would much rather spend the extra cost of packaging, for an upgraded mattress.

Everything was wonderful from ease of website and ordering to the mattress! My husband and I prefer a softer bed so we were happy to find it was such a soft squishy but supportive as well mattress. We ordered the original purple because we are both under the 240lbs remendation that if u are over that the hybrids are better.
