We've had our Purple king sized mattress for around a month now, and overall it is working out well for us. The "hyper-elastic polymer" lattice shaped top layer works well for pressure relieving, and has a unique feel, as described by all the marketing. However, I would say the base layers of foam are more firm than we were expecting. That does make it quite supportive, but if you need a soft bed, this may not be for you. So far this has not been a problem for us, and perhaps as the bed ages it may become slightly less firm anyways. The other main reason we went with the Purple was because of the claims about cooling. Granted, we haven't hit the summer months yet, but I would say that the mattress definitely feels like it sleeps cooler than the pillow-top that we had before.

I'm only 2 wks into the trial period and have physical damage so this review won't help healthy spines. Downsized from a king Seally to full OG Purple. I weigh 130 #s and I have an adjustable bed frame.The mattress helps relieve pressure in my shoulder but it offers no support for my spine and sacrum. I'm not sure I will keep it. My previous seally mattress did not have me wake up in pain every day like the purple does.

My husband has a very hard time sleeping and this is one of the best mattresses that he has tried. It's a little more firm than I like, but I still sleep great on it when I'm sleeping on my back. My shoulders get a little uncomfortable if I sleep on my side for too long.

Being a side sleeper, I have started to experience pain in my hips when I am asleep. Seeing advertisements that the purple was sleeping on a cloud, I had high hopes that this mattress would be the answer. Sadly, it wasn't. The mattress is a bit firmer than I anticipated and now I can add back pain to the list of discomfort. I will be returning this. On a positive note, the sheets are AMAZING!! Additionally, the customer service is TOP NOTCH!!

It's taken some getting used to! We love the bed, but since it's a queen size power base, and my husband and I sleep in different positions, it's hard to find a happy medium sometimes that's comfortable for both of us. I also still feel my shoulders still scrunching in when I lay on my side causing some upper back and neck soreness the next morning.

My biggest disappointment is that this bed is too cold. It gives me cramps and chills. By the time I am warmed up it is 2 hours later and then I am too warm from the very warm blanket I put on. My next big disappointment is that the bed is too soft. I thought the soft non egg breaking technology would be good for my side sleeping back. But it is so soft that the pressure relayed too my ribs makes them sore and the blood circulation becomes restricted. Proven by my arms falling asleep before I do. Too fix it I have to turn over very often. To be clear I am 40, but in descent shape at 5'9" and 160 lbs. Also my smaller wife is also feeling the same. Maybe heavier clients would more appreciate this design. My prior mattress was a very soft latex foam mattress and it was best ever for 3 years. Then the fatigued stiffness reduction in it was too much and it was getting like a hammock. The warrantee is a relaxed flatness and not a lost stiffness. So no warrantee help. So I was hopeful in the purple mattress to have less stiffness loss. And I know memory foam is too hot. So the polymer seamed interesting to me as a rubber engineer. I asked my materials engineer about the compound and their take was interesting. But the performance for this application turned out to not be optimal. And I really need to return this matress and get another foam one.

I first started out by buying the Queen Purple Hybrid which is thicker and stated that it's meant for Heavier people. My husband meets that criteria but I don't. I made sure we had the first bed before we thought about exchanging it for a couple weeks. He started to complain that he was sore from sleeping on it. And then we had to do the exchange process.... which was AMAZING! They were prompt on how simple it was. They give four different ways to complete your exchange... recycle it, have them pick it up, charity donate it, or have them pick it up because it wasn't never opened. It was so simple. We sent in a signed charity form that they accepted the next day. They also sent the new bed and gave us a timeframe when we had to decide what to do with the old bed. This is an amazing gift for Christmas/Yule! The sheets they sell are so perfect.... so smooth. They have a nice jersey heft to them. You won't regret it.

i had 2 of your old cushions, & a woman i spoke to there sent me free new cushion, now i consider that important, w/ a hundred days to be sure, this old man will buy your single bed mattress in about six months, you treat customers like we matter - thanx

I've been sleeping on my new mattress for a week. I've long had back and shoulder issues. I haven't woken up in the usual pain in a week. How do I know that's not a coincidence? My daughter had a nightmare last night and so I slept by her in her bed. I woke up in the same pain this morning that I used to in my previous bed. She has a pillow top spring mattress. Now I'm thinking of getting her a purple.

I'm just under a month in and so far I love this bed. When I wake up I don't even notice the mattress. I wake up just knowing I slept good. I think that's even better than having a soft comfy mattress. It almost as if the mattress doesn't exist. I just lay down and my body is relaxed and I quickly fall asleep
