It is worth it to spend the money and get a nice comfortable bed, it really makes a difference. No matter how stressed out my day is I know as soon as I hit the bed I will sleep soundly and wake up refreshed! I am a side sleeper ad this is the first bed I have every had where I don't get those pain points in my hip and shoulder from laying on my side. We spend so many hours in bed and we NEED sleep and I think everyone NEEDS this bed, Thank you Purple!!!

Our previous mattress was a sleep number. My husband likes to sleep in the middle of the bed so he was very uncomfortable most of the time due to the gap between the two air pockets. We decided to try the Purple mattress and love it. It is the most comfortable bed I have slept on. It doesn't get hot and provides excellent support. We could not be happier.

I bought my first Purple mattress about 8 months ago. I got a king and I immediately loved it. My wife on the other hand did not. I work night shift and we decided that I was going to setup my bed in the other room, and that she would have her old bed back. After a few weeks my wife started complaining about her mattress and asked if she could get a Purple too. So now we have two of them! I never thought that I could love my bed so much. I was sleeping on a hard old bed and injured my back 4 months ago finally caved and splurged due to the warranty I was skeptical on the support but after just one night I can finally get 8 hours of sleep again. I just bought a third bed. We are replacing every bed with the Purple bed. I started out trying it a few years ago. Then purchased one for my son and daughter who both needed a new bed. Next is the guest room (lucky guests!!). I love vacations but I always look forward to coming back home and sleeping on my purple bed. THE BEST MATTRESS ever! I will never purchase another mattress ever!

I've bought 3 queen size beds. One for my dad one for my girlfriend and the most recent one for my mother my most recent order number is N813489. I got the complementary sheets on the order for my girlfriend in December and hated them never used them bc when I put them on they were too thin so I put them in the basement. I recently bought my mom one and got the pillow for her and she loves it. Since it was my 3rd order I thought I would contact them and see if they would exchange the sheets for the pillow. I was told NOPE. Anyway for a 3 time customer one would think they would have no issue with the exchange. Thanks David Ferriot

Seat cushion was uncomfortable for me and several friends who tested it. A major flaw is the undisclosed fact that it cannot be used if used in a vehicle that gets over 105 degrees and that happens many months of the year in my Gulf of Mexico Coast travel area. Cushion cover should be made of heavier material. When I asked if their products were pressure mapped to test effectiveness no one seemed to know what I was talking about. I returned the cushion and got a prompt response.

I chose the original purple mattress because our old pillow top got old and it hurt my ribs to sleep on my side. The purple mattress solved that problem. What I didn't expect is that my back feels better. I had lower back surgery several years ago and assumed a certain level of pain was just my normal life now, but since I got the new mattress that pain has faded considerably.

Finding a bed that works for me is a tough problem to solve. See, I was born with a tumor in my spinal cord. I had major back surgery at just two years old, which included permanent removal of parts of my lumbar and lower thoracic vertebrae. Nearly 40 years and 400 lbs later, I'm severely disabled, bound to a wheelchair other than a few transfer steps with the aid of a walker. I live in constant pain, and typically couldn't sleep for more than about five hours at a time without waking up in horrible agony from lower back pain. My king-sized Original Purple Mattress is everything they say it is. I can sleep as long as I want now! Yes, I'm still in great pain when I get out of bed, though less than before... but while I'm in my Purple, I'm in very little pain, if any at all. Every time I get into bed, my spine goes through what I call a "decompression period" in which my pain levels skyrocket. After it decompresses, I can't get back up for a time, as my discs are very sensitive and tender during that time. With every other bed I've used, that decompression period is about 15-20 minutes, and the subsequent "can't get back up" period is at least two hours. With my Purple, decompression is down to maybe 2-4 minutes, and I can get back up less than an hour later if I have to. I can -feel- how well-aligned my spine is. It's amazing! So far, about two months into using it, it's holding up very well. I had a Tuft and Needle previously that gave up any support or firmness within two weeks and just became a saggy mess under my weight. The Purple is holding its firmness nicely, and feels just like it did the day I got it. Moving around and rolling over isn't as hard as I feared. Memory foam or pillow-top coil spring mattresses are difficult for me to move around on with my disability. I worried that the Purple would be even worse, given how much give there is in the top layer of hyperelastic polymer, but it's actually the opposite. It manages to be firm enough for easy movement, yet still soft enough to cradle pressure points, just like they say! If you're worried that this is all just very clever advertising (which admittedly, it is amazing!), and that this is just another mail order mattress, don't. It's just what they claim it to be. It's the one that's different. The patents don't lie! The specific nature of the ads don't lie either (they don't just talk about how well you'll sleep, they show you what's different about it and why, and that's a key difference!) If you have back problems, if you're very heavy, if you have difficulty adjusting to new beds or sleeping through the night, you owe it to yourself to buy a Purple ASAP!

It sleeps cool and is very responsive. The stretchy sheets are essential to get the form-fitting effect from the mattress. At 6'2" 195 lbs with somewhat broad shoulders I would probably ideally go with the newer 3 or 4 if price wasn't a factor because my butt and shoulders are hitting the firmer foam in the middle when on my back and side, respectively.
