finally! After 11 years terrible, awful, no good, very bad sleep-We got a Purple! What a difference! And the sheets! My partner and I neve agree on sheets...except these! Now our daughter wants a Purple! If you're on the fence, do it! Totally worth every penny!

Honest confession: we did not buy from Purple first and that was a mistake. My wife had trouble with sweating with the other mattress (memory foam) and tradition spring mattresses don't give me the support I need for my back. Then, Purple shows up. I'm a back sleeper and she's a stomach sleeper. Both of us now sleep sound through the night. It is the coolest mattress I've ever slept on. Also, it supports you know matter how you sleep. We have mentioned it to friends and would mention it to anyone. We're glad we chose Purple in the end.

I don't have words to convey how amazing this bed is. I was scared to buy this bed without seeing it in a store but all the videos and testimonials are true. This is the most comfortable bed I have ever been in. If there was a 6 star option I would hit it cause I can't even begin. I'm glad they had a 100 night guarantee cause buying a mattress on the internet is scary but after the first night I knew that I wouldn't need it. This is the only brand of mattress that I will buy for the rest of my life.

I purchased this mattress online and it came to my home in a few days. The package is heavy, so you will need a couple of people to help you move it. So, the first couple of nights it felt a little too firm and I didn't really like it, but After a few nights sleep, BOOM!! I loved it. I sleep through the night and the support is great. My wife had very bad back pain, the reason why we purchased this one, and now she doesn't complain about her back at all. It has been about a month now and the bed is still in great shape and I have no complaints. so far, I love this thing! I ordered the hybrid2.

We received the mattress only 2 days after ordering it. Which was a wonderful surprise. Unfortunately it did not work for us. My husband and I are both side sleepers and we found this mattress is too firm for our liking. But the return/refund process is so easy and quick. Even though this mattress didn't work for us I would recommend to anyone and everyone to give this mattress a try.. It's fairly cheap compared to other mattresses and the return/refund process is so easy you have nothing to lose.

The mattress is really comfortable but it does take a little getting used to. It is firm but squishy. Now I know that sounds bizarre, but it's the best way I can describe it. It is super heavy so don't open it (it takes 2 people to handle this!) till you get it to your bedroom. If you are used to a pillow-top mattress, this is definitely a different feel. Having said that, I was having trouble with my shoulders sleeping on our old worn out pillow-top as I am a side sleeper and am surprised at how comfy this is for me. It did take about a week to adjust to the difference in this compared to our old one, but now when I go to bed I immediately relax into the bed without feeling like I'm sleeping in a trench like I was in our old bed. My shoulders are actually starting to feel a bit better too. The only complaint I have and it has nothing to do with the comfort of the mattress is that we also ordered the frame and it took FOREVER to get here so since the mattress came fairly quickly I had this big purple tootsie roll in my foyer for about a month! I think if you are ordering the mattress with the frame they should ship them out at the same time, because trust me, you don't want to handle the mattress but one time! (the really nice lady I spoke with on the phone when inquiring as to when my frame would arrive suggested we could use our mattress on the floor till our frame arrived. If we were 40 years younger we maybe would've given it a shot, but at our age it didn't seem like such a good idea so we waited on the frame to come in! Lol!)

The bed is firm yet soft. Seems to support me in whichever way I happen to sleep during the night. Honestly so far this is the best mattress I've ever purchased. It's been a very different sleeping experience compared to anything I've ever slept on. I'd buy it again!

I had been using a Serta for the last 15+ years. So fluffy - but oh so old and soft and worn and painful on the back! I'm a side sleeper so after all of the super hilarious and believable YouTube ads promoting this mattress for side sleepers - I was sold. I read so many reviews saying this mattress was great. Unlike anything you've ever slept in before. I would agree - except none of those reviews mentioned how absolutely painful it would be! I don't know if I'm still in the "wearing in" phase - but I wake up sore sore sore. My limbs are numb! Primarily in my shoulder. I have never had shoulder issues. The mattress is just so firm, that when I sleep on my side, instead of my shoulder sinking in to the purple, It just lays on the surface like I'm sleeping on a rock. My arm goes numb, and I begrudgingly drag myself to the couch after waking up with a incredibly sore arm after about half an hour. I'm trying to give it at least a month - but so far I'm not thrilled. To give Purple credit - I do NOT have lower back pain anymore. (Which I have been plagued with since my teenage years.) Now I have horrible shoulder numbness and pain. Woo!

It is close to week 3 of sleeping on my Purple mattress and I'm on the fence about keeping it. Some of my aches have been alleviated and the pressure point alleviation technology of Purple seems to be working, which is great. However, the mattress just doesn't really feel comfortable. It has a firmness that you just don't "sink" into or get very comfortable in and what I can only describe as somewhat of a "clinical" or hospital bed type feel. At time it feels like my feet are "floating", however, this may be due to the pressure point alleviation tech. Another issue I had was with Purple's customer service. I signed up to receive updates regarding my order via Facebook Messenger and during this process I sent Purple several messages about the status of my mattress (as it took almost a month to receive) and only received automated responses. If you indicate that you are going to provide customer service through any channel, then you should support that channel, otherwise, please do not offer it! After getting no response, I called Purple directly and they claimed there was a staffing issue with their FB Messenger support, however, when I checked Purple's Facebook page, I noticed that someone from Purple was responding almost instantly to everyone, and I mean EVERYONE that had an inquiry or concern. If it had not been for this, I may have given Purple 4 stars. Also, it was apparent to me that they are understaffed and their lead times for mattress delivery were longer than I expected.

We started with a different mail-order mattress but it quickly developed depressions where we laid. The purple mattress does not do this and is extremely comfortable. If you're trying to decide between purple and some of the competitors I'd encourage you to give them a try.
