We had a great experience trying the Purple mattress. My brother and sister-in-law have one, and raved about it, so it was my first choice when we needed a new mattress. Unfortunately, the mattress didn't work with my bad back. It was very comfortable, but I needed something firmer. Delivery was faster than the tracker stated, so we were thrilled to get the mattresses early. We had a bit of trouble cutting the purple wrapper open with the device they sent, but were able to open it with scissors. I will warn you that these mattresses are HEAVY!! We ordered two twins to go with a king adjustable frame. It took two of us to lift it, and that was a struggle when it was expanded. I can't imagine having to open and move a larger mattress or someone trying to do this all by themselves. I do wish they offered a delivery service. We tried the mattress for over a month, hoping it would "break in" and work for my back. Unfortunately that didn't happen. It was probably about 50 days from purchase when I e-mailed to inquire about returning the mattress. NO QUESTIONS ASKED! They offered to let me find a company to donate it to. I was really surprised that no companies took donated mattresses around here. Therefore, they sent a company to take it for recycling. I had the money back in my account the same day. I highly encourage anyone to give this company a try! You really can't go wrong with this easy return policy and great customer service!

We received our Purple mattress right before I got the stomach flu and double pneumonia. Needless to say I have spent many MANY days on this new mattress of mine. Let me tell you- I would have been completely and utterly miserable on our old mattress during this bout of illness. I love our purple mattress!

We have enjoyed our Purple Mattress now for about a month and we are not experiencing the back pain we used to. We are sleeping much more soundly. One of our sons laid on the bed and said even just a few minutes and he already felt like he could sleep peacefully and comfortably on a PURPLE!

If you like a mattress with any type of support, DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS. It is so flimsy that it caused nothing but issues for me and my wife. Neither of us have any back issues or anything like that but woke up every morning stiff and in pain. The only good night sleep I had the last 2 weeks was the night I fell asleep on the sofa. After 2 weeks we switched back to our previous mattress and called to return the mattress (this is when we found out there is a minimum 3 week trial required before you can return it). Both of our sleep patterns returned to normal once we switch back to our previous mattress and the stiffness/back pain went away. Would NOT recommend.

I previously had a memory foam mattress that was about 6 years old, and was waking up sore. After doing some research on a replacement I found Purple and couldn't be happier with my decision. The Purple technology is awesome and I wake up refreshed and look forward to going to bed again. All my aches are gone, and I would recommend this mattress to anyone who is in the market for a wonderful product... Thank you Purple!

We spent the weekend visiting friends in VA. Their guest bedroom had a purple mattress. After that visit we had our very own sent to us with in a week and a half of returning home. There was no going back to our other mattress. Hands down the best mattress we've ever slept on!!

I am enjoying my Purple mattress so far - sleeping much sounder and more comfortably. It's harder to want to leave the bed behind in the morning - in a good way! The shipping however does not let you make changes, meaning that if you're ordering ahead of a move there are a lot of hoops to jump through with FedEx to make sure delivery works out.

I can't believe we waited this long to get a new mattress, but I'm SO thrilled we bought from Purple. It really is unlike any other mattress I've slept on. Even sleeping on my stomach, I feel supported. I used to be in the camp of "layer the mattress with as much pillow top as possible", but I've been converted! Purple was definitely a bit firm at first getting used to it, but I've since found it to be perfect, and my pillow top days are behind me. I also appreciate the shipping process, especially during crazy pandemic times. My one tiny tiny little mention though, is the mattress packaging. A letter opener tool was included in our shipment to help open up the mattress, and we ended up ripping through the top fabric of the mattress. Must have been user error from all of the excitement!

Get this mattress. You will love it! It's been two months since switching to our queen sized Purple 3, and I love it. Night 1, I couldn't sleep because I was too excited for my new mattress, but I immediately noticed two thing - first, it slept much cooler than my traditional mattress. Even with our down comforter for the winter, my warmth was escaping through the mattress, so I felt a slight chill. No worries. I wore a t-shirt until the Spring and was fine. Second, I noticed I had no pinching pain in my shoulder as I laid on my side, so no urge to roll back and forth from side to side! Nights 2 - 7, I gradually started adjusting to the new mattress and sleeping more soundly as the nights continued. (It took my wife a few extra days to adjust). The best thing I can say about this mattress is that after 14+ months of waking up with lower and mid-back pain on my traditional mattress, I'm experiencing absolutely no pain in the night and no pain when I wake in the morning! You really do feel cradling support around your pressure points (hips, shoulders, knees). Nights 8 - 60+, I continue to sleep with no pain, and I've been getting increasingly more restful sleep. I've had more energy, and I've been able to add more exercise and physical activity into my daily routine - contributing to even more restful sleep at night. Quick side notes: 1) Demand must be high for these mattresses, so be patient for your order to arrive. (I think we waited 1 month. It's worth the wait!) 2) Part of the deal when we purchased was that the delivery team would take away our old mattress. The delivery guys (contractors, I'm sure - not Purple employees) tried to play dumb and not take away our old mattress. Don't let them play dumb!

This bed is SO comfortable, I don't want to get out in the morning. I have been so pleased with my purchase....from the easy delivery and simple set up. I managed to set the mattress up by myself, even though I unrolled it upside down and then and to lift it and flip it over! I'm guess I missed a step about unrolling it with the correct side up, haha! No matter! It's all set and I LOVE the mattress and the super soft sheets! The bed frame is great and was an easy set up. I love the higher frame and that I don't have to deal with the old box springs. Having extra storage under the bed is great, too! I highly recommend the Purple mattress, frame and sheets to all.
