I've had my purple mattress for four months and I absolutely love it. I have hypermobile joints that slip out of place easily on traditional mattresses. On my old mattress I would have to wake up at least three times a night to pop and realign my neck and back. I haven't had that problem since I got this mattress. It also sleeps cool which is a big plus here in Texas. One weird thing I wasn't expecting, our cat refuses to walk on it. I guess he doesn't like the way it gives under his feet so he walks across us like we're a couple of bridges all night but the mattress is well worth it.

The Purple mattress is comfortable. Compared with other mattresses, it most closely resembles memory foam in terms of how it feels to sleep on, but is definitely unique since I don't find myself sinking in. I rated the mattress 4 stars out of 5 as I don't think it's the miracle mattress that the advertising of it seems to convey, especially since waking up sore is not cured with a Purple mattress. It's excellent quality and a great mattress for the price.

This mattress was not a true queen. It's about 3-4 inches narrower and several inches shorter. I couldn't figure it why I kept bumping into my sleep partner, we've always had a queen. So I measured it, sure enough, it's NOT a queen. They said they'd contact (email) me after I complained, I'm still waiting, but now that's it paid off I'm sure they don't care. I'm going back to sleep number!

This is the second Purple I have had. The first started to get a few saggy spots after about 2-3 years. I contacted the company not really expecting to get far. However, I was shocked to find put that after submitting the needed photos and information they had already shipped out a replacement. They even offered to have a company come get the old one. Great company who follows through on their promises. I dont think I'll ever buy another mattress from anyone else. .

So much for the small price. I have had Tempurpedic, and a sleep number. Over $14,000 for both of them. The Purple bed has been my saving grace. Thank you for an amazing bed at an amazing price. Bought the bamboo sheets and the Purple pillow and can't say enough great stuff.

Our memory foam mattress was killing my husband's back, even though we'd only had it for a year. I really didn't want to get an innerspring mattress but I knew he needed more support. We finally decided on a Purple and we couldn't be happier honestly. After the first night, he was able to get right up out of bed with no pain. The best part for me is that I don't sweat at night anymore and I can actually use a blanket again. Also.... the Purple mattress definitely has more bounce to it than memory foam. That quality has a couple benefits but really the first couple times I got out of bed I literally threw myself out of bed because I was so used to the struggle of memory foam. The first time I actually fell against my nightstand because I was not expecting to get up so easily. I can feel the grid but it doesn't bother us at all, in fact it's kind of soothing in a strange sort of way. My only complaint would be that it is so thin. When I kneel on the bed I can sometimes feel my knee hit the slats under the mattress. Overall it is a fantastic mattress so far and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

I rate this mattress excellent. I was due for a new mattress and had been feeling the progression of my body deteriorating. I'm naturally a side sleeper and have naturally been changing to a back sleeper. I like how the mattress completes your body. I've never looked forward to going to sleep and now with a welcome hug from a mattress and Pillow set that contours my nights rest I could not be happier!! Thank you, Purple!

My husband and I received our Purple 3 about six weeks ago and I have waited in order to give an accurate review. I did months and months of online research, looking at tons off different online mattresses all the while sleeping on the couch. Our pillow top mattress had turned into a torture device and sleeping was miserable. My first criteria was 100% American made....thank you, Purple!! I went to a mattress store and tried out all the expensive brands and was not 100% sold on any of them. When I realized I could buy a queen size Purple 3 for less than the Tempurpedic I was sort of considering, there was no question. I returned home and placed my order! The Purple 3 is hands down the most comfortable mattress my husband or I have ever slept on. Honestly, for the first few nights I wasn't so sure. As someone with chronic lower back pain, and after waking from the first night on the Purple 3, I had stiffness in other areas of my back and hips. My spine was being realigned!! After about 3 nights, the majority of my back pains were gone. I am a combination sleeper and tend to move around at night. I have no trouble turning or getting out of the Purple 3. It's so responsive it's almost as if it gives you a boost!! My husband is someone who could sleep on a rock if need be. He says the quality of his sleep on the Purple 3 is incomparable to anything else and he didn't realize how well he wasn't sleeping on our not so old pillow top. We can move around and get in and out of bed without waking each other. This mattress is silent!! The hyper elastic polymer grid is unlike anything I've ever slept on, thus hard to describe. It's sort of like a room temperature, supportive water bed that's been filled with springy gel. Every night I sink into bed, relax immediately and fall asleep quickly. I have no more aches or pains from my neck, hips or tailbone. My back pain has considerably improved and I no longer feel stiff in the morning. My husband's shoulder pain has disappeared. We could not be more satisfied with our purchase and we will never buy another brand! Thank you, Purple, for this amazingly comfortable, 100% American made mattress. Purple for the win!!

I have to say that I was skeptical about buying a mattress online that I couldn't test out first. We've been sleeping on the Purple mattress for several weeks now and I'm comfortable saying that this is the BEST MATTRESS I've ever slept on! We definitely did our research of the online mattress companies (i.e. Sealy, Nectar, etc.). We read all independent reviews and watched countless review videos. All signs pointed to Purple. The reviews were not wrong! I used to wake up with shoulder and hip pain on our old mattress, but that is not happening with the Purple mattress. I was also skeptical about how the reviews said this memory foam mattress actually "sleeps cool." We've all heard how memory foam mattresses trap heat. Definitely not the case with Purple! You can actually feel the cooling effect through the mattress protector and sheets. It's amazing! I haven't woken up hot once. It's definitely not "cold," but it definitely doesn't trap the heat either. One of the other great features I was skeptical about was how the mattress was advertised to be the perfect combination of firm and soft. I didn't know what that even meant until I actually slept on the mattress. The second you lay down, you can feel what this means. Finally, the motion transfer is little to none. In other words, when you or your partner move around you can't really feel anything on the other side of the bed. This is truly amazing technology and I would recommend this mattress to anyone. It's worth every single penny!

I am a stomach sleeper and ever since we bought out last bed (just 2yrs ago), I couldn't sleep on my stomach any longer without extreme pain in my back. I didn't know what the change was as I had been pregnant when we bought our last mattress; so I obviously wasn't attempting to sleep on my stomach until I delivered the baby. Once I had him, I was surprised to find I couldn't sleep like that anymore. So for the past 2 years I wasn't sleeping well at all. Cue the purchase of our Purple mattress. Imagine my absolute shock when I discovered that first night on the Purple mattress that I could, once again, sleep on my stomach. And it wasn't just a pain-free sleep...it was a deep, comfortable, restful sleep. I woke up the next morning without any hip, shoulder, and back pain. Also, when lying on my back in bed...no pain either. It is so comfortable it's like sleeping on a cloud where all my joints are supported.
