So we've only been using the mattress for about 15 days and it's ok. I really want to love it! We had a pillow top before which was soft but over time it was dipping and so we wanted something a little firmer. So far the Purple is a lot firmer so I keep waking up throughout the night since I'm not as comfortable. I don't wake up sore though. My husband said he'd like it a little softer but it's not effecting his sleep.

Overall, we are happy with our new mattress. My wife loves it and says its the most comfortable mattress she has ever slept on. Me on the other hand am 235 lbs and find my shoulder going numb when I lay on my side. This also happened on our last mattress and I was hoping this one would be different. I still find myself tossing and turning all night.

Was on the look out for a new mattress forever and I had a few people recommend a purple mattress, so I thought I'd give it a try. Ordered the gueen and it shipped really quick. Unpacking it was pretty simple. Unpack the mattress where you are putting the bed because it's not the easiest thing to move after. It is pretty heavy. It would be great if the mattress had handles on the sides. I was worried it would have that weird foam smell but it wasn't too bad. It has taken me longer to get use to sleeping on this mattress than my husband. He loved it that first night. It does sleep different than your traditional mattress, but it's not a bad thing just takes a little bit to get use to it. After 3 weeks now I can say I'm glad we got it. Only wish I upsized to a king . It sleeps a lot cooler than I thought it would which is very nice, it's not hot at all. I'd say the mattress is of middle firmness, I prefer a little softer but it's quite comfortable. My husband is very happy with it. It's helped him with hip and back pain. I would totally recommend if someone was looking for a foam mattress.

I think the bed is great. Firmness is perfect. Stays cool. The support frame is nice because its firmness is equal across the whole bed. No hump in the middle like most king size mattress styles. I'm 6-3 and 225lb. My wife thinks it's to firm. Not sure why it's to firm for her. She is 5-7 135lb. Is the weight a factor for comfort level.

Worked great for a few months, but now is almost worthless. On one side of the bed there is a deep groove where I sleep. The purple grid isn't deformed, but the memory foam underneath is totally squashed. I'm only 220lb, seems like that shouldn't have happened. I guess you don't get this with the improved version without foam, but for the price I was really hoping this would have help up better. Purple grid is very nice otherwise, I enjoy napping on my wife's side of the bed when she's not there.

I am very disappointed in this mattress. It does not relieve my pressure points as advertised and truly is not that comfortable. I stuck it out for the 100 night trail hoping things might get better. They did not!!!!! I called to set up the return ( BTW you need to do this before the 100 nights is up I did mine about 2 weeks before) They talked me into trying it a little longer giving me an extra 30 or 60 days I can't remember which. Anyway as life often gets busy I missed the deadline and am now stuck with a bed I do not like!!!! If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't have let them talk me into trying it a little longer. Better yet I wouldn't have wasted over $1,000 on it. I did a lot of research on a new mattress and read the reviews on Purple. I felt I made the right choice. Unfortunately the reviews aren't as reliable as truly sleeping on the mattress. This mattress did not work for me and I would not remommend it to anyone. I am not satisfied with this product unfortunately I am stuck with it!!!!

I finally got the bed in and couldnt wait because i have arthritis in my right hip and 2 vertabraes. Its a weird bed i kept waking up feeling like i was sleeping on a flat bed because it curves around the heavy parts of your body while like your legs that are lighter sit on top. All my hip pain was gone in the morning cause i didnt sleept on my hard bed that made me feel like i was sleeping on the floor. Finally a night without hard pressure on my body. I have been feeling great today and up and feeling like i can tackle my day

I bought this mattress a year ago. I didn't get to use my mattress for the first 2 months because I was moving. At first, it wasn't bad. If I wrote a review a month in, it would have been positive. After 2 to 3 months, everything just hurts after a night of sleeping on the purple. If they had a longer return policy, I would have ended up sending it back. 3 months just isn't enough to evaluate a bed in a bag. I sink down to below the grid part so it feels like I'm sleeping on ply wood. When I lie on my side to watch tv, my leg goes numb. Do not get it if you are a stomach sleeper.

I have insomnia and shoulder problems from the military and I have 2 of these beds now one at my house and the other in my camper both kings and it's the best sleep I've ever had no tossing and turning or hot spots shipping was a little delayed but well worth the wait!

Hello there. I definitely like the purple mattress so far, my issue is just is it worth the price. It's definitely not bad, but it doesn't seem super exceptional either. I think it might be comparable to a regular mattress in terms of comfort (for me that is) but not worth the price. I'll give it a few more weeks but may be returning it eventually before the 100 days is up. The pillow on the other hand is really great, I have neck problems and haven't had an issue with it. That is fairly priced I think so I might end up buying one of those. Thank you
