I sleep on my side predominantly. The mattress seemed entirely built for those who sleep on their back or stomach. The first 2-3 inches of the mattress are soft and absorb the right parts of your body if you sleep like that. However, as I sleep on my side my shoulder does not sink enough. This leaves me waking up with sharp shoulder pain every morning. I have since returned my mattress. Easy return. I'd suggest to all to just give this a try. If you don't like it it's free anyway!

I hate this mattress it is the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on. Every morning I wake up in pain!!! It feels like I'm sleeping on lumps of fabric. It is not supposed to break down and it already is. Jus barely slept on it over 100 nights and they will not work with me to return it. I can not believe they sell this mattress it's horrible!!!! DO NOT BUY A PURPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased and returned the XL Twin.The only reason for the return was the purchase was for my daughter and she had just purchased bedding for a full. I am looking to make a purchase for myself in the coming months. The experience was very pleasant, and the return seamless. I was very happy with the total experience.

I'm not sure where to start. I weigh 370ish and I am side/stomach sleeper, I prefer a harder mattress. My wife sleeps exclusively on her side and likes a soft mattress. We weren't sure how we would do with this bed, but after looking at reviews and researching all kinds of different beds we decided to take the plunge. I immediately fell in love with the mattress, it was comfortable, my arms stopped falling asleep, and I was getting good sleep. I love that I can sleep clear at the edge of the bed without falling off. It is comfortable to sit and read on. My biggest concern for me was my weight, would I just go all the way down and feel like I was sleeping on a hard platform, this just wasn't the case, it is super comfortable for me too. My wife took about a week to finally decide if she liked it or not, but now loves it. She is getting great sleep as well. She says she doesn't feel me rolling around, getting in and out of bed, etc... and the hardness isn't like a hard mattress, it still has give to it. It sleeps nice and cool and I am so glad we chose it over any other mattress.

Loved the mattress immediately. Took a while to love the pillow, I was so used to other heights and weights. Never could find one that didn't break my neck or have to flip over all night long. This one is temperature cool on my head, and level. You don't flip the purple pillow. Once I adjusted to the right height with the blow-up part of the pillow, I'm sleeping very sound and don't wake up with a kink in my neck. I am also so happy someone finally came up with a bed that doesn't end up with a dip in it where I sleep! Great product at a comparable price point.

After sleeping on my new purple mattress for a few days my back pain is almost gone. For months every night my back would hurt so much. It got to the point that when I would wake up and try to reposition myself, to get rid of the pain, i would be hurting so much I could hardly move to change position. I am pretty much pain free now.

It took almost a week before the extremly strong smell of latex to dissipate. It doesn't bother any of my pressure points, one of the most comfortable mattress' I've ever slept on. It slides around a lot on the foundation though which means I've hit my legs on the foundation getting out of bed in the morning and I'm starting to bruise. The legs of the foundation were too long, I couldn't get in bed without jumping and I'm 5'6". So I had to take the legs off and lay the foundation on the floor.

I have only had purple for about 2 weeks now, and I would have to say it is probably one of if not the best bed I have been on BUT its rather short, I'm 6'1 and I go from 1 end to the other so it can be a rather pain for me sometimes. Besides the length the bed is beyond comfortable.. AFTER you get use to it. At first the bed is going to feel odd and stiff but don't take it off your list yet because after even an hour you will start to notice how enjoyable just laying in the bed to watch T.V is. By that I'm taking no aches no pains and no intention to get up for a snack because you just become kind of another accessory that the bed has claimed as its own So would yes I would recommend this bed after only 2 weeks, I would get a bed from them that is longer then the king size if you are my height or taller but that is if you wanna sprawl out, lay completely straight and don't bend your knees the slightest

I was sceptical like so many people. I read many reviews of mattresses online and boiled it down to purple. I haven't bought a mattress for about 12' years so wasn't even sure what I wanted. I am 64 and have some medical issues. I'm very pleased with my king size purple mattress.its so comfortable. The grid layer really makes it unique. It has give but still bounces back. I don't have shoulder pain anymore. I would recommend it as it has a great return policy if it's not for you. .

I bought a Purple mattress for my guest bedroom because of a very narrow staircase and hallway that a regular mattress couldn't fit through, and upon the recommendation of my brother who has one. But I confess that since I've gotten the bed (which I put on the excellent platform Purple sells) set up, I have been sleeping in it. It is so comfortable and the right amount of firm and cushy. I love it!
