This is a great mattress for you if you're worried about buying a "bed in a box" that's not firm enough. It has the soft feeling of foam but the grid on top helps support you on top of the mattress so you don't sink in. I've only had it for a couple of months but I have noticed a drastic difference in the quality of sleep I've received as well as virtually eliminating all back/neck aches.

I absolutely LOVE my Purple mattress!! I've had it for just over a month and I can attribute having more restful and deeper sleep, along with feeling less back pain. It's not difficult to find an ideal position to fall asleep in because any which way you sleep is so comfortable! This bed makes you feel cradled all over while giving you firm support where you need it. Falling asleep only takes minutes, as opposed to half an hour of trying to get comfortable enough to fall asleep with my old memory foam mattress. Having slept on an expressive memory foam mattress before and sleeping on the Purple Mattress now, I can confidently say that there is no comparison. The Purple bed wins - hands down! Best money I have spent in years! Worth every penny! I wake up and I am not sore or hurting anymore! Deeper, sounder, with less tossing and turning. The wife and I love it. And even the evening aerobics between us is better! If you catch my drift..... 5 star plus!!!

I purchased the Queen size mattress and the mattress stand. I recommend a helper with setting up due to the weight of the mattress. I have recurring back/nerve pain from an auto accident. My back always...ALWAYS feels better after a night on the purple. I've had it for 3 weeks and I'm not giving it back!!

Purple was the third mattress I have bought in the last 6 years. The first was too soft and my back would ache. So I over-corrected and bought a nice extra firm mattress that made my hips burn and I couldn't wait to get up to make it stop. I thought it was because I am not a spring chicken anymore! But with my new purple mattress I can get up and not wait for my joints to "un stiffen" and have full range of motion! I also had been having some hot flash issues that made it so I had to keep my room cool enough to hang meat in. But because my new mattress doesn't need a foam topper to make it bearable I can sleep normally again. So glad that purple made me realize it's not me...it was my mattress! Thanks purple, you really did change my quality of life. Trying to convince my parents that they need one NOW!!

I've had the basic purple mattress for less than a month but my wife and I like the bed a lot. At first we thought it was as going to be too "hard" to sleep on for us. As we slept on it though we found it was firm and very supportive of our different sleeping styles and positions. It contours to our bodies while we sleep. I would recommend this bed to anyone looking for a very supportive nights sleep.

I have a condition called neurofibromatosis. It's a condition where there are tumors all over my body on my nervous system. This causes a lot of pain just laying in bed. However with the purple bed I don't have those issues. I can't wait until my next tax return next year so I can get the pillow to so my kneck and head can feel just as good as the rest of my body. Thank you Purple. Thank you. Oh by the way the bed also works with my husband bad disc in his spine too. Plus I am 4'9" 115 lbs Hubby is 6"2" and built like a football player. This bed is perfect for two extreme opposite sizes again Thank you. You are amazing.

We had needed a new mattress for over a year, because ours got messed up when we moved. I have Lupus, and would wake up frequently in the night to reposition my body because of back, shoulder, and hip pain. My husband would also wake up multiple times in the night because his side of the bed was sinking in due to the move. I had seen the commercial for the Purple mattress and knew I wanted to try it! It was definitely nerve-wracking to order a mattress without laying on it first, but the 100-night guarantee was the reason we did it! I couldn't wait for it to arrive, and we ended up getting it in a week. Weighs a TON (seems like), but we dragged it up the stairs and plopped it on to our bed frame immediately! As soon and we layed on it I knew it was going to be just what we needed. I couldn't wait to go to bed that night. We've had our purple about 3 weeks now, and I honestly don't wake up as much as I used to. I don't toss and turn trying to get comfortable. I still wake up slightly stiff sometimes, but nowhere near the pain I had before. I sleep better and longer! So far, we LOVE this mattress, and I hope that if anyone reading this is on the fence about ordering it, that this would help you to decide to do it!!!!! Order it!!!!

I heard amazing things about purple..and as a frequent business traveler, I've been spoiled with great nights of sleep on amazing mattresses...just, never my own. Luxury sleep always felt unattainable in the very place I should sleep soundly...my home. I once had the typical mattress buying experience, hopping from model to model with a pesky salesman hovering over the decision making time only to surprise you with delivery charges, handling and haul away fees. I walked away frustated, and empty handed. In hindsight, I think it may put my review and satisfaction with my purple at a disadvantage. I know I love my purple. I also know that I'm not sure if it gets better. In other words, I'm very satisfied based on value and ease of ordering, but I'm still uncertain on if I'm settling for consistent comfort and rest. The first 15 minutes...amazing. I look forward to going to bed..almost feels like your floating. But, I would be remiss if I didnt mention that I still wake up achey and feeling unrested a couple mornings a week. At first, temps feel regulated, but I still have issues waking up warm. Not enough to want to go back to my old mattress, but certainly frequently enough to wonder if something better exists. I'm in love, just not married to it ...yet. Would still highly recommend purple to a "first time" mattress seeker or a friend looking for something different than what they have.

Super happy with my Purple purchase! I loved the mattress from the start. My girlfriend took a couple weeks to get used to it. We have both felt the difference in our backs, as well. I was also particularly impressed with the packaging. Everything with very securely and neatly packaged in the box, very easy to remove, and put together as well.
