My husband first suggested buying this mattress and at first I was not on board. I started looking at videos online and was won over. I am glad I was. We really enjoy the mattress and have recommended it to our friends. We also went on to buy a set of Purple sheets and a pillow as well. We also like those.

We wanted an experience that was different than what you would get from the typical brick & mortar retailers, but we also wanted the assurance of a hassle-free return if we really didn't like the mattress. After doing plenty of research about online mattress retailers and compiling the reviews that all heavily favored Purple, my husband and I decided it would be our first "trial" mattress in our pursuit to find the "perfect" mattress for both of our needs. The Purple mattress quickly went from a "trial" to our "forever" mattress after the first three nights sleeping. It brought the perfect amount of support for each of our sleeping styles, and the balance of firm/soft is exactly what we were looking for.

I could not fall asleep on this mattress. After about15 min, it felt like I was sleeping on a 1" mattress pad on my carpeted floor. My hip and shoulder began aching after about 20 min, and when I rolled over, it just started all over again. I'm 6'1", 180 lbs, and I felt like the mattress was superfirm, and not letting me sink in at all. I also tried napping to get used to it, and I still couldn't get comfortable

My overall experience has been good. The mattress was delivered in good shape and on time, however it was very heavy and hard to get set up. Needless to say I was very excited to go to bed that first night. My excitement faded soon after dark, this mattress was much firmer than I anticipated or wanted. I have tried to sleep on it for three weeks and it has not gotten better. I decided to use the 100 night return policy and have found that it is anything but easy. They ask you to find a charity to donate it too, but no one takes mattresses due to bed bugs. I tried to explain but no one wants it. So now I'm not sure what to do.

Your customer service has been amazing, but the mattress has been extremely uncomfortable for side sleeping, the mattress is soft to the touch, but it the squares tension strength gets rigid when turning on my side and doesnt sink as on the video demo, I have event tried "the purple sock dance" to soften the mattress, which hasnt worked. the result is neck and shoulder pain and sleepless nights. I was very optimistic about this mattress and was disappointed it didnt work out. I think it is better suited to back and stomach sleepers.

My husband and I have been through several mattresses in the last 9 nine years and all have failed. Mostly by sinking in. We have had only had this mattress for about 2 weeks and we have not sleep well yet. Don't know if it is the mattress or us. We will try the 100 day guaranty and see. The purple mattress seems a little firm right now but maybe our bodies have to adjust to it. Undecided still.

I originally had a cheap foam mattress from OverStock and within 3 years, I've built so much neck/shoulder pain. After watching the info-commercial on the Purple mattress, I was very interested! However, before purchasing the mattress, I decided to try the Seat Cushion first for a couple of weeks (since, I sit at my desk all day) and if the seat cushion felt good, then that was my deciding factor to purchase the mattress. I can't live without the seat cushion, so I was definitely sold on the mattress. Took the chance, since I couldn't try out the mattress in person. It was all worth it! I've been having great sleep and less body aches! What a huge difference a mattress could make. Thank you Purple!!!

I love my purple mattress. It's the best thousand bucks I have dropped since that lost weekend in Belize. I bought my purple because I was experiencing serious hip and back pain, but within a couple of weeks of sleeping on the purple, I am a new man. I appreciate how it feels so firm, but cradles my hips and shoulders. The ads are true, you should try one today.
