When I first unrolled my Purple Mattress and laid down on it, it seemed very firm (I weigh less than 120 lbs) & I wasn't sure I was going to like it. However, I slept the whole night thru and had the best sleep I've had in a while. I've had back & neck pain for several years now. With my previous mattress (which was new), I woke up in the morning hurting more than when I went to bed. I've had my Purple Mattress for a little over a month now. After adapting to the mattress, I've been sleeping much better and have less pain now than I've had in some time. I also don't wake up in the morning with pressure point soreness. So thus far, I'm very pleased with my Purple Mattress.

Both the mattress and the customer service are amazing. Amanda B is the bomb. She went out of her way to accommodate us and respond to all of my emails quickly. The mattress itself is exactly what we wanted, firm but also giving. Our frame is on the way and I'm more than sure it'll be exactly what we were looking for!

Customer service was not. Representatives did the best they could, but Purple wouldn't grant a reasonable request concerning an exchange. Would I spend this much on a mattress again? Probably not. Research the disposal of compact mattresses and how the cost is included in the price. Free returns is at no risk to you (but really to them), because you already paid for it! :)

Did not expect this bed to be this uncomfortable despide all the good reviews . Woke up every day with upper back pain for three weeks until we went back to our old bed . ( still looking for bed though ) . Sleeping on this bed feel like sleppeing on a practice sport ball.

We noticed that about three days into having the purple bed we kept falling asleep as soon as we laid down. This has been great for falling asleep, unfortunately not so great for 'watching TV in bed" after the kids go to sleep. Dang you purple bed!! I am waiting for the snarky commercial that shows that 'purple symptom" broken down in scientific terms with a bunch of other things you can do in the purple bed to keep you awake while your kids crash out. Seriously we were skeptical at first so we just purchased the bed as it had a return policy we trusted. Now we are getting ready to order the sheets and lower frame. Its a keeper.

My husband is a kicker and moves around all night! We both are now getting a good nights sleep. He moves less and does not have the restless legs from before. The mattress is easy to set up but hard to carry so make sure you have help to get the mattress in the house and on the bed. When we purchase another in the future we will purchase Purple worth every penny.

I got my purple bed a few days after Christmas. It was well work the wait as I've had solid sleep in it for two weeks. It cam in handy as I had a cold also. it such a wonderful bed the only thing I miss are the promotions. I missed out a free pillow or now the bed sheets. Great product

I have conducted many hours of research and deciding amongst other options in the online mattress industry. I am going on 2.5 months of owning and sleeping on my Purple Matress and I never had a bad night of sleep. My previous mattress has served me 10 years and was nervous to switch but I knew I needed too. If you are seeking a mattress with a high value, low cost, and easy setup, I highly recommend Purple Mattress. This is also my first review I have ever written, no I am not paid to say nice things. (I wish)

We wanted to wait until we had our Purple mattress for 2-3 months before reviewing it. We bought jersey fit sheets for it, as suggested. We love it. My husband hasn't had any stiffness since getting the new bed. It is much easier on this side sleeper's hips. It is sooooo much cooler than our memory foam mattress, so no more sweating at night. My husband quit sleeping with a pillow after we bought our Purple mattress and was more comfortable that. BUT unfortunately I missed out on the 2 pillows with a bed purchase by about 8-12 hours or so (my husband was asleep and I couldn't discuss the purchase with him until the next morning, when the kickstarter had ended). So hopefully soon we'll have the extra cash for Purple pillows!! Love the purchase, and definitely was worth the money for the king size Purple bed!!!!!

We really loved the mattress and I can say it's really great for relieving pressure points like heels. But we already have body grooves in it after a year which is sort of a bummer and makes me worry how long it will actually last. Probably will look elsewhere in the next purchase.
