With two dogs and a wife, mattress real estate is at a premium-even with a king size mattress. The purple mattress hasn't solved that problem, but I no longer spend the night rolling from one side to the other trying to alleviate the pain in my hips. Back pain is completely gone, as well. I now sleep for hours at a time and am constantly surprised when I wake up and see the clock. Even went for the stretchy sheets. Money well spent!

I'm a 55 year old US Army veteran with a long list of aches and pains. Active duty was very hard on my back, shoulders and hips. As a side sleeper this has been a problem for years. My wife and I have tried so many different brands and types of mattresses over the last 20 years with the same results. Not sleeping more than 4 or 5 hours a night due to constantly turning from one side to the other and getting up with my hips killing me. My hips would hurt so bad during that night that rolling over was extremely painful and could take as long as 3 minutes. 3 minutes don't sound like a long time but it is just to go from your left side to your right. I enjoy sleeping in the Purple mattress, especially, the grid in the top part of it. My major complain is that the lower layers of the mattress seems to be so compact that adds a lot of unnecessary weight that should be very light with all the empty spaces in the upper grid. So that, good luck when you have to lift it! :(:(

After 10 years of polite debate, I finally convinced my husband that it was time to retire the slab of concrete disguised as a mattress that we had been tossing and turning on for all of these years. I was tired of waking up in the morning stiff and sore, and frankly, I was just TIRED. We have had our Purple Mattress for a couple weeks now and love it, it took a couple days to adjust to sleeping without the divots our bodies produced in our previous mattress, so far so good, we intend to make our final proclamation at day 95 - by then we should know for sure, in the meantime, so far so good.

My husband and I bought the purple mattress because our two boys ruined our other one. We needed something that would help with his back and something that would keep me cooler at night and we heard the purple mattress was a good purchase. "Good" was an understatement. We sleep throughout the night in a deeper sleep than I thought was possible and my husband doesn't wake up with a sore back, I don't wake up because I'm too hot anymore. We love this mattress. I had an old mattress. My back has been bothering me for awhile. I never put two and two together until I visited my daughter who has a Purple in the guest room. Your chances of finding this mattress locally to try out it before purchasing one are pretty slim. When the price of these mattresses is nothing to joke around about it can give you pause before buying one. After reading countless reviews around the web I'd decided, based on those reviews, this mattress gave me what I was looking for. I specifically had issues with my previous Simmons mattress putting too much pressure on my upper back. I used to wake up and my shoulder blades would be sore and my shoulders feeling pretty bad too. This mattress fixes that issue completely. I wake up feeling like I was sleeping in a cloud. I look forward to getting in my bed each night and the first few seconds after I get in I'm immediately reminded why I love this mattress. My only complaint is that the mattress takes a while to get warm. The first 5-10 minutes feels pretty cold after I get in at night.

I'm disappointed I don't sleep better. I was really hoping this mattress would be the answer to helping me be more comfortable at night so I can sleep better. Even with an adjustable power base I still can't find a comfortable sleeping position with my back pain and sometimes neck.
