I have had this wonderful mattress since October. This is what I can say. My previous mattress was 14 years old and the pillow top cushioning had moved and folded because of moving the mattress several times. When I received the Purple mattress I was elated to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it is. I'm use to a soft mattress and like to be cradled when I sleep so I will say that the Purple mattress feels different just in a good way. It's soft to the point that I sink in a little and yet underneath that layer I can feel the supportive layer that hugs my curves without pressure points. It did take me awhile to start sleeping without a wedge pillow under my legs to help with back pain. My body had to adjust to how the mattress felt before I could sleep without my legs propped up and now my back pain is gone and I sleep flat. I'm a back sleeper most the time and the Purple mattress is great for that. When I do sleep on my side I wasn't sure how much of a difference it made till after a over night stay in a hotel and waking up with shoulder, hip, and back pain. Sleep on my side on the Purple mattress I wake with no pain and my arms don't fall asleep any more. I love the Purple mattress!! My dog even begs to sleep on the bed so Purple please make a Purple dog bed!!

I decided to try the purple after months of debating ordering a mattress online without getting to try it first. I got the mattress, the base, and the sheets in order to get the best experience. Upon first impressions it did seem a little firm but also very supportive and comfortable for me (5'11", 180 lbs) After a few weeks I really liked the mattress and was sleeping great and very cool, never woke up hot or sweaty. Unfortunately my fiancé (5'5" 120lbs) found the mattress to be way to firm and she woke up with shoulder pain because she wasn't heavy enough to settle into the mattress. I contacted Purple to start the return process and they were great! They outlined exactly what had to be done (I donated the mattress to a local charity) and followed through. Within an hour of sending them my receipt with all the information they requested, they sent a confirmation email accepting the receipt and sending my refund. Great experience overall, I strongly recommend you give purple a try!

I have chronic neck and back pain and have had trouble sleeping on 3 other beds. I saw your commercial on Facebook one day and could completely relate. I have tried a soft, hard, and adjustable beds and your commercial really spoke to me. All of those bed had their different problems and none of them ever resolved my pain. The very first night I slept in a Purple bed, I woke up with absolutely no pain at all. I have even found myself pushing away my conventional pillows because it provides such amazing support for my head while allowing my shoulders to sink into heavenly softness. I can't believe it took me so long to get one of these mattresses. I even forgot to order the base with the bed and when I called your customer service, it was the nicest, coolest, most friendly customer service agent I've ever talked to or even heard of. You surprised me once more when you said that it was on a four week backorder and then the base actually showed up after only a week! This is the greatest bed and the greatest service I've ever received from any company!

My wife and I have been sleeping on an adjustable air mattress for 13 years and have recently started experiencing back pain. After reading many glowing reviews about the Purple mattress, we decided to give it a try. The hype is real! We have had the mattress for about a week and a half and we couldn't be more happy with it. No more back pain. No more tossing and turning. No more being drenched with sweat. At first I was skeptical about the purple mattress. The video is a little hard to believe but I was hooked. After dragging the mattress up a flight of steps( I would not recommend doing it alone as I did), set up was a breeze. I have arthritis in my hips and the base of my back. I can honestly say I feel relief with this mattress compared to our old spring loaded pillow top. I will buy another one in the future.

I told my husband to pick the mattress because I have always been able to sleep well on anything. He's happy with the mattress but I wake up every morning with lowerback pain that I have never had before. I thought I may just need to get used to it but we are several months in and I'm still having back pain. I am looking into getting a topper for my side of the mattress to see if that may help.

I took the plunge and became a part of the Purple family. I've purchased a mattress, sheets and pillow for myself and oh my how my sleeps has transformed! I no longer wake up with aches and I am actually able to sleep a full 8 hours because I'm not in pain. We started this journey because my mom's chiropractor recommended a seat cushion. She was given one as a gift and it made no difference. I had noticed Purple and we gave it a shot. It's made a big difference for her. We now have two seat cushions and she's loving her new back cushion. After she found my love of the mattress, she now has one with a base, pillow and sheets. I purchased the Purple bed mattress and sheets to replace a memory foam mattress I was sleeping on. The memory foam mattress was truly a comfortable mattress, however the mattress retained so much heat that I could never sleep well. (On cool nights my body surface touching the mattress overheated while the surface being covered only by one sheet would freeze.) While doing research for a better (cooler) sleeping mattress I came across the "Purple Mattress". Reviews and the company claim the mattress to be a "neutral" temperature mattress, so I placed an order and have now used the mattress for nearly 4 months. While it does "sleep cooler" than my memory foam mattress did, it is still what I would call a "HOT" sleeping mattress not a "neutral" temperature. I travel for business and can say that old school (high quality) spring mattresses in hotels generally sleep much "cooler" than my new Purple mattress does. It is however, a comfortable mattress and does seem to help relieve back pain I frequently have. Overall, its a "keeper" but I will be continuing my quest for a cool & comfortable night sleep.

Loving the mattress. I'm 6'2" and 215 lbs. and a side sleeper. My only minor complaint is occasionally it feels like my hip bottoms out not miserable but just enough to notice it especially compared to weightless feeling of weightlessness of the rest of the bed. Overall I'd recommend and and I'd buy it again. Such a comfortable bed compared to anything else I've slept on.

Everyone said their back hurt for a few days. My wife and I have been waking up in extreme pain. we are three weeks in and both light weight. Everyone said you won't feel your spouse moving in the night. Complete lie. I feel it when my wife moves her hand. Feels like I paid extra for nothing right now but I'm going to hang in there
