This bed, is a purple miracle. I used to have such severe pain waking up in my hips & back that I would have to do an hours worth of stretching while in the bed, before I could get out of it. When I did get up, I couldn't stand straight up for a half hour, forget bending or kneeling. I had trouble going to sleep, like 4 hours of restlessness a night, even with sleep meds, I didn't even dream for years it was such bad sleep. Buying a new spring form mattress didn't help either, had a new one for a year before I found Purple's ad, and relentlessly nagged my husband to give it a try. After I bought this bed, about a week after, my knees & upper back had no pain, after two weeks, I could get out of bed straight away every morning but still had hip pain, after 3 weeks I can fly out of bed like a Ninja when I'm running late & not suffer one consequence. My husband works 24-37 hour shifts and is constantly doing heavy lifting & bending, his back pain has ceased since we have this mattress, he now swears by the very thing he wasn't so sure about us getting. We have since ordered the platform base for our bed, and even a base as a gift, plus 2 pillows. I will say I did have a slight issue with the bed sinking in 2 spots, but over a chat with the service department and providing pictures for them, they replaced our mattress in a flash and even let us donate the old one to Habitat for Humanity. No hassle, no nitpicking, just great friendly service. The sheets are awesomely comfortable too. I don't ever want another kind of mattress, eventually I want to get my kids all one of their own too. It's THAT good. The only thing that is remotely disappointing is the wait for it to arrive, I wish shipping was faster, but ..all good things come to those who wait.

The Purple Mattress is simultaneously the weirdest/best mattress I've ever slept on, even if it seems like something you buy from an infomercial. Even with the Goldilocks spokeswoman and the constant reference to the mattress' development by a rocket scientist, I was skeptical. Until I watched the unedited footage of the Egg test, the one where they drop the eggs under the glass and then Goldilocks then breaks the eggs over the bed with NO EDITS in the video. I was convinced then to try it and I'm glad I did. I'm actually sleeping a good and thorough sleep and that seemingly small change has improved many aspects in my life. I have energy again without having to practically inject myself with caffeine, my overall posture has improved since my back is no long stiff with aches, and my credit score has improved as well. I financed my bed by the way.

My wife and I tried to sleep on our new purple bed for several weeks. We woke up feeling more in pain every morning. It got to where we couldn't even lay on it to relax for a few minutes. Unfortunately we will have to return the mattress. I'm sure it works well for some people but for us it was too firm and straining on the hips and back.

My husband prefers a firm mattresses and I prefer soft this is perfect for us. We are still adjusting to it but we love the feel of it. Hopefully it just gets better once our body adjusts more. It has been about 2weeks and we love it so far. We also got the purple sheets and we love them. The jersey sheets were a little hot for us. We also got the mattress protector and that is good too. It fits good and does not make us hot.

So, been sleeping on the purple for a couple of weeks.it is very comfortable, and I will give it a 5 star rating. I will note that I am a belly/side sleeper and I have noticed more back soreness in the morning since switching. That being said, my soreness has been getting better every day that passes and this week is hardly noticeable. I attribute this to the slightly higher degree of extension that I get while on my stomach with this mattress as opposed to a standard mattress. Which is exactly what I needed.

This mattress is THE best mattress I have ever slept on. I sleep in many positions but this is the only bed to hug my body the right way when I do so. In the past, I had to place my arms in weird positions to help support parts of my body that's were receiving too much pressure from the mattress. For that, my shoulders and hips say thank you, Purple.

I bought this for my daughter. She was suffering from back and neck pain. I've tried to convince her that the purple mattress is the answer to those problems. I finally won but she was the one who really did. No more pain. Better restful sleep and having more energy the next day. That's the 3rd mattress I've purchased. All were the same quality and comfort. I also love the bed frames. Light and easy to assemble and yay easy to vacuum under. I know no one who has any affiliation with purple. Keep up the good work! We bought our Purple thinking that we had nothing to lose if it was horrible because the price was so great. Well.. This bed is AMAZING. My husband contemplates it is the most comfortable bed ever. Firm yet soft. The running joke in our house is the writing of this review... This bed not only promotes great sleep.. On the romantic side of things it has perfect give and bounce. We love the bed. Our kids want Purple mattresses too and we are waiting for the production of the full size to be in swing so we can get three more. Let's hope the Purple does not lead us to needing a crib purple too!! If it does I know any sleep I get will be great!

Before i bought this mattress i was having back pains from my old matress.So i did allot of research and decided to go with this mattress.Now my back pain is completely gone feels like im sleeping on a firm but soft cloud. I also bought the purple sheets harmony pillows and bed protector definitely recommend this product and accessories with it you wont be disappointed!

We have loved the bed so far. Like many reviewers said (and the manufacturers) the first night or two led to some soreness adjusting to the new bed. Since then it has been amazing. We go out like lights every night and all of the back problems we had been experiencing with the old mattress have gone. My shoulders are no longer sore and "accidentally" sleeping on our stomach doesn't lead to several hours of hobbling like the old mattress caused. We love it.
