I like the bed. I seem to fall asleep faster. More firm than I expected, and it's so heavy it makes it a chore just to change sheets. BUT I don't like whatever it is that turned it yellow. So I spilled water on it, and quickly soaked it up, but whatever the bedding material is made out of turned it yellow!!! It smelled like some type of chemical, and had to sleep with a think blanket over it, cause it smelled so strong. It looks so gross, cause now changing the sheets, I have to see that ugly ring. It was only water, I don't understand!?

Great Mattress! Never knew I could sleep this well. My arm used to fall asleep at night as I'm a side sleeper and now with the Purple mattress my arm doesn't fall asleep. And now I sleep through the night. I recommend this mattress to everyone I know.

My husband had wanted a new mattress for quite some time now. The problem was our current mattress was a little more than 2 year. It was an mlily memory foam mattress that started out great, but over time you began to feel indentations where you slept. It was becoming uncomfortable but it wasn't that old and I didn't want to spend the money. Going on year two my back really started hurting and I could barely sleep through the night. I read a lot of the reviews for the purple mattress and they were mixed, but for the most part positive and the reasons varied. One of the reasons I was wary was my husband ordered the purple pillow at Christmas and it smelled for two months. It was a rather strong plastic smell that I couldn't stand. I finally caved and ordered the purple mattress. It took about a week to get here and was delivered in its 'small' box. We opened the box, unwrapped it and rolled it out. It was ready to go. No odor either, which I was very happy about. I can tell you from the first night I slept on purple my back stopped hurting immediately. It's an interesting sensation because it does have a soft feeling when you first crawl into bed, but it's very supportive while you are laying down and I am one who needs a firm mattress. I sleep very well now and don't toss and turn like I used to. It is cooler than the memory foam mattress, but I feel it's slighly warmer than a conventional mattress. Not a deal breaker as I'm always hot anyway! One final note, I am about the pickiest person there is when it comes to mattresses and a real Goldilocks, four mattresses in less than 10 years. Some of the reviews mentioned they could feel the grid and I will say that's true and you do realize it's different than a conventional mattress especially if you run your fingers overs it, but it's so comfortable when you are laying down I don't notice the grid at all. We got the 2" purple and I am finally getting a good nights rest! For us the purple mattress gets five stars!

I had been suffering from severe shoulder and neck pain for months. Over the counter pain medication and physical therapy did nothing to relieve it. Realizing that it was most likely caused by my sleep position, I decided to try to make some changes. I first tried various pillow systems, wedges, curved pillows, you name it. Relief was minimal at best. I finally decided that my old memory foam mattress was the culprit and no relief was to be had while I was still sleeping on it. As always, I over researched mattresses, but kept coming back to the Purple mattress, as I was intrigued by its construction and design. I purchased the original mattress and couldn't wait to set it up. On my old memory foam mattress, there was something of a breaking in period; not with the Purple mattress! I could feel the difference immediately. The Purple layer cradles and supports you in every position right out of the gate. I can sleep all night on my side and wake in the morning pain free. The mattress is also markedly cooler that my old mattress, as air is able to circulate through it and I don't wake up in a puddle of my own sweat. I would definitely would and have recommended the Purple mattress to anyone considering a mattress purchase. It is my intention to also purchase a matching pillow to really push my comfort level over the top! Also, the sheets are fantastic! Light and comfortable!!

We purchased a queen sized purple to replace our very old mattress. We also purchased the purple pillows. We are satisfied by both. When one of us is restless, we do not wake the other because the mattress absorbs motion and is quiet. We purchased one for our son as well-twin sized, and he seems to sleep sounder. We got the wider pillow for him, and really like the feel of it-very good support.

Sleeping on Tuff & Needle was basically like sleeping on a rock. With smaller rocks under you. And all of those smaller rocks had razor blades on them digging into my body and giving me sepsis. Sleeping on our purple is like heaven. We even starting inviting friends over to sleep with us. Except we are usually not sleeping. It's like a party now in our bed. Get a purple. It will change your sleep. It will change your *** life and your life.

It seems to be a good fit. I will say it was on the expensive side. Also I got the wrong size mattress protector and you made me buy a second and wait for a refund. I think that's bad business. You should have sent me the new one at no charge and waited for the wrong size to come back. As a business you shouldn't make the customer put up extra money when your product is already expensive. That being said we where refunded a few weeks later which would prob not be doable for all customers.

I purchased the mattress and platform after researching many other options. I am very pleased with my decision to buy a Purple mattress. It is so comfortable but even more importantly, I feel so much more rested and love that it is hypoallergenic. Best purchase ever!

Purchase a full size for my son's room. He'd been having lower back pain. First night on the Purple mattress and he woke up with no pain at all. I enjoyed the ease of purchase and was so pleased about my son's experience that I bought a 2nd mattress for our spare room so guests have a great sleep too.

we have been sleeping on our new purple king mattress for about four months and I have been sleeping better then i have ever slept in my entire life. I can not say enough good things about this mattress. I used to wake up with aches in pain every morning for years, so often that it became normal. Since the first night sleeping on the purple mattress I no longer wake up with aches and pains, instead I wake up feeling refreshed and well rested. I have not had the hip or back pain that i got from my old mattress. Purchasing the purple mattress was one of the best decisions I ever made. The purple mattress is the most comfortable mattress i have ever slept on.
