My husband and I immediately loved this mattress. My favorite part is that it's both soft and firm. I don't really have a preferred sleeping style, but have noted it's best when I sleep on my back or side. Customer service has been really fantastic too.

I will be sending the Purple Mattress back. It has not worked for me as I had hoped for. It has been like sleeping on concrete. Sleepless nights has been my experience with this mattress. I am so sorry. I was hoping this was going to be the right way to go.

Side and back sleeper here always had issues staying sleep bc I felt the need to move around getting tired of the same position though the night but now that I got my purple mattress I can def sleep through the night wake up feeling refreshed and not tired of tossing all night I love my mattress and my dog loves it too

hi to all you that are thinking about purple for your next bed I have a back and neck injury...and I always wanted to get a tempapedic mattress but could never afford it now I am glad that I didn't because then never would have tried the purple mattress and I love it, I sleep so good! About 6 years ago, my wife really wanted a king size pillow top Tempurpedic mattress, which cost us in the area of $5500 or so. I hated it from the get go - it was really hard and since I am a side sleeper, my IT bands on the sides of my legs would get inflamed often, waking me up constantly (a problem that runs in my family). I'v had the Purple for a month now with only one episode of sore legs in the entire month! I had thought I needed a super soft mattress, but it turns out I needed Purple. Thanks Purple! And thanks Goldilocks! ;)

After several years of waking up with lower back pain, and knowing full well that the mattress had to be replaced, we finally settled on Purple. There are lots of competitors in this same space, and I'm sure that they're at least competent. We got the chance to try a Purple mattress for a week in a friend's RV while visiting them. I was sold on Purple after the first night. By the fourth night, we were online and purchasing a mattress for our home. I have plenty of regrets over the years, but purchasing the Purple mattress is not one of them.

Was having major back pain due to work fatigue and the old memory foam mattress I had had Sunken in to the point where my side head just this massive crater of where I slept and offered no relief for the lower back pain I had this mattress now from purple has helped tremendously so glad I made the switch and my wife loves it too

If you don't find it comfortable upon first impressions, don't give up on it. It took me about two weeks before I got a good nights sleep on it. Now I get some of the best sleep I ever had. I don't know if this sounds weird or not but, I think it just takes time for the bed and the body to get acclimated with one another. Overall good bed. I wouldn't recommend if you don't like firm mattresses.

This really is the best mattress ever. It's so comfortable and seems like it's going to last longer than other mattresses because of how it's made. It's a lot of money but if you don't have to buy another mattress for twenty years (because of the twenty year warranty), it's equal to having to buy two or three other lower quality mattresses.

I could definitely see how someone that doesn't weigh much could be uncomfortable at first, it takes awhile to break in. But it is so so so comfortable. I fall asleep way faster now and I sleep much much better. Even if I wake up in the middle of the night and fall back asleep, I still sleep well enough to not feel that tired. I love this bed. Now onto the bad. The overall experience is awful. The instructions for setting up the bed platform and the bed were both very confusing and also incorrect. It took a very long time for the bed to be shipped here, and the same thing happened when I got the sheets. However, customer service was very nice and sent me a seat cushion to make up for the time. So, my overall experience with the company has been lukewarm to positive, but their products are great.
