I like to not think about things... for them to just work so well they slip into the back of my mind so I can worry on important things like the effects of gravity on relativistic time dilatation. And this mattress does just that I sleep well, and am happy. I got the whole set... frame, bed, mattress protector, sheets, pillows and am set. Thank you.

We are so pleased with our new Purple! Our king size mattress came to us in about 3 weeks, plenty of time to look for a new bed frame and have it delivered in time. It fluffed before our eyes and we have been sleeping on a soft piece of heaven ever since! It is literally the perfect in between soft and firm. Hard to explain if you haven't experienced it yourself! Looking forward to amazing sleepy nights for the next 8-10 years!

After a year with this bed it has really gone down hill. After about 6 months it started sinking in, after a year, you cannot sleep in the same spot two nights in a row without being in a big dip. I wake up frequently with back aches and joint pain. It is really disappointing to have this after only a year.

So far so good. Me and the wife got the original purple in king size without the firm option. I'm 340lbs @ 5ft 8 in. My wife is 180lbs 5ft flat. This bed so far is the only bed I've ever slept on that I happily pop out of in the morning. Now I have had a bad night on it as well, but not because of the mattress. The sheets from purple take a little getting use to. My pillow in the purple sheets with the pillow case on it tends to slide away from me slowly. I've also woke up thinking I was wet or sweating, no I was not wet, turns out I've never slept on a cooling mattress, only traditional spring. So far both of us are happy. Now it's just seeing how long it will hold up under the "high stress " conditions( me being chunky). Purple if you guys read this thanks. I hadn't slept decently in awhile.

We had our previous bed for over 15 years and you are really supposed to replace them after 10. We were so used to the grooves in our old bed the new Purple bed seemed way to firm and responsive to begin with. After a few weeks acclimation we are sleeping much better, but our bodies did need some time to adjust.

The way I sleep, I'm all over the place. This mattress adjusts as I move perfectly. Constantly keeping my spine straight and body supported no matter what position I'm in. I used to get a lot of tension migraines from my positioning, and they've pretty much gone away since getting this mattress. And I sleep so much better already. So worth the money.

I have had my mattress for a little over a month now and absolutely love it. I have also had to reach out to Purple's customer service and have had an excellent experience with them. Definitely recommend getting the mattress as well as the sheets, protector and frame!

The combo of the mattress and powerbase have been fantastic. I love the 'weightless' setting. It took a little adjusting to the mattress but after a few weeks, I didn't want to get out of bed. I have given it four stars because some of the powerbase construction is a little less solid than I would like. It works great and was fine until I moved. I relocated shortly after buying the bed and the movers have some trouble with moving it because (a) the mattress doesn't have handles and (b) the outside edge of the powerbase isn't a solid material. Ultimately, the outside edge got a little bit bent out of shape during the move but thankfully I have a bed frame that the powerbase sits inside of and so it's not visible. It would be nice if the outside edge of the base were a bit more sturdy. Either way, loving the combo of the mattress and base.

The mattress was great when it was new, incredibly flat and offered plenty of support. We have had the mattress for over a year so it is out of the return window. There mattress still looks flat, but over time the foam under the gel top has softened in the more used areas and offers less and less support. I am primarily a side sleeper and as the foam has given out it puts my back in more and more of a "U" shape causing significant mid-lower back pain that worsens through the night. My back now wakes me up well before my alarm. I have narrowed the back pain specifically to this mattress : I am not a big guy ( 5'9" 160lbs) and sleep better anywhere other than this mattress (normal mattress, couch, air mattress, cot, hammock, etc) without pain. My wife is primarily a back sleeper and sleeps better, but she also uses a large body pillow in addition to a standard pillow. In summary this mattress looses support over time, but may be ok for back sleeping, but not for side sleeping.

I had been recently suffering from back and shoulder pain from my old mattress and I knew it was time to buy a new one. I've slept on a variety of foam mattresses while traveling, but they always seemed to get me too warm and I wasn't a fan of the softness. While searching for reviews online, I stumbled on purple. The ad made the mattress sound perfect for someone like me, and it really is! I've never had such incredible sleep in my entire life. The bed is the perfect balance of soft/firm and I have yet to wake up hot. Additionally, my back pain has subsided and my shoulder pain is nearly gone as well! Truly an incredible product and I am incredibly satisfied.
