A year ago I bought an expensive posturepedic mattress as I have a lot of trouble sleeping due to back problems. I tried several as I hoped to reduce the amount of pain I would wake up to regularly. Unfortunately, it did not solve my interrupted sleep problem. I would roll over constantly because the mattress put pressure on different areas of my back creating a lot of discomfort. A friend of mine had shown me an ad for Purple several years earlier. We both agreed it looked great, but were uncertain about making the purchase as neither of us knew anyone who had the mattress. I was hurting so much each night and could feel the spots my current mattress was pressing hard against me, that I decided to give it a try. With the guarantee, I really had nothing to lose. I felt it would be worth trying if only to feel less pain and pressure So I could get closer to having uninterrupted sleep. I purchased the mattress, platform, and stretchy bamboo sheets and waited. The sheets came in first, making me very happy as they would be here when the mattress came in. The mattress came in shortly after. I was okay that the platform was coming in later as I set it up as I planned on my old box spring base. I got a delivery notification in an email and left work for an hour to set it up. I was very hopeful and kind of excited to see if it would really help. I tried to keep my expectations down as I know you need to try out a bed for about a month or so to really see if it is right for you. That first night was amazing. I don't even remember falling asleep, and didn't wake up during the night either. I slept through the night for the first time since longer than I can remember. I woke up stiff, but expected that as I do a lot of physical work, but there was no pain. It was the first time in many years I can remember waking up without pain. I couldn't believe it. I called my friend and told him how great it was. I called my mom and my sister and told them as well. I knew it was too early to be fully convinced that this mattress would really be the answer I was looking for, but at least I had hope. I've been sleeping on the mattress for a month now and every night is as good as the first one. I have slept up to eight hours in a night and that has not happened in as far back as I can remember. I can't say if this mattress will do for you what it has done for me, but it really has become the answer I was looking for when it comes to a good nights sleep. Fantastic mattress. I'm typically a side sleeper but the way this mattress gives but supports allows me to sleep on my back more comfortably (my butt sinks in but my lower back is supported). I don't have any spinal or joint issues so hopefully this mattress will keep it that way! I also don't feel my partner move around or get up at all. I docked a star (really should only be half a star) because it's pretty heavy and a bit awkward to move as it doesn't hold its shape once it's unrolled. This isn't a dealbreaker by any stretch though!

My husband and I were sleeping on an older pillowtop mattress that had seen better days. I was waking up every morning with neck/back pain, and my husband couldn't sleep through the night. After looking at them forever, we finally bought the purple mattress and I wish we would have taken the plunge sooner! Both of us fall asleep easily and stay asleep through the night. I had about a two week adjustment period where I would wake up with my lower back feeling sore, but since I was still sleeping so well, I gave it some time and it went away. My husband needed no adjustment period at all. We love our purple mattress!

I'm very glad I went with this bed, I had my doubts before purchasing but that surely changed. I was constantly waking up in the morning feeling stiff and sore from my old bed. The purple mattress had the perfect amount of support for me and in my opinion is better than using the memory foam topper by far.

I have never been a huge fan of memory foam, so I decided to go with the Purple Mattress. It is simply the most comfortable surface I have ever sat or laid on. It has a little bounce and is very supportive for my back and nerve pain in my arms and legs. I also don't ever feel my partner on her side of the bed.

No matter what position you sleep in, this mattress supports every part of your body. I, literally, sigh when I climb into bed at night. I also purchased the Purple sheets, which far exceeded my expectations. They are super soft, better than an old broken-in t-shirt but just as durable as your standard cotton.

The mattress, as advertised, manages to provide excellent support for my substantial weight and further puts no pressure on any particular part of my body, so I have no trouble finding a comfortable position. The waffle texture is a little surprising at first, but it's easy to get used to it, and it helps keep the mattress cool as well as comfortable. The bag it comes in is impressively small, but the material is dense. Lift with your knees if you're carrying the bag by yourself, especially if it's a queen size or larger.

Our old mattress (pillow topper) had had it. Two valleys we had to climb out of each morning! My lower back was killing me every morning, too. Was hoping for a new lease on sleeping with the Purple mattress. Both my wife and I have had problems on the Purple mattress with our arms going to sleep during the night, waking us up. Side sleeping for myself is my favorite, but I enjoy back sleeping, too. When I back sleep, I am still waking up with too much lower back pain. So, we have a few more weeks to decide on whether Purple is for us - the sleep jury is still out!

I ordered the purple mattress when I saw it on the YouTube advertisement. I was so intrigued and considering that I had a mattress that would give me back pain , I decided to order the purple mattress. I am being honest, this is the best mattress ever !!!!! I sleep well, I don't even wake up with back pain. The only bad thing, is that I don't want to get out of bed. It's so comfortable! I really recommend it!

We have been sleeping purple for about a week now. We noticed we are getting better and uninterrupted sleeps with the purple. Our previous "bobopedic" memory foam mattress would become so hot at night that we would sweat and wake up. I like that you this mattress isn't as super firm but firm enough for support and that it doesn't get hard. I did try a couple different pillows and got a Neck ache with one of them so find the right pillow for you before blaming the mattress.
