It took a solid five days sleeping on this bed before I got a good nights sleep, but since then I have slept longer, more soundly, and with drastically less tossing and turning then our previous foam mattress. Also, this mattress sleeps so much cooler than any other mattress I have ever slept on.

Have had several mattresses over the years, trying to find one that doesn't give my wife and I back pain when we wake up. We're both side sleepers. Was very excited and optimistic about the Purple mattress arriving. Customer service was fantastic and they make the whole experience fun and customer friendly--right down to the unpacking of the mattress! We've only had it a couple of weeks, and although the mattress seems VERY comfortable when we go to bed and feels awesome--we still wake up with our backs hurting. Not sure, given the fact that we've been through so many mattresses that we can blame this on Purple, but so far it hasn't solved it for us. I'd still recommend this mattress just based on the customer service experience and cool technology.

To be clear, the mattress isn't some soft, magical marshmallow that will take away all of your cares and worries. The mattress is comfortable and supportive. It supports my lower back while giving great comfort when on the side. It took about a week to get used to the bed. I have been very happy with it.

I have this mattress for the last couple of months and I'm very satisfied. I have a lower back problem and before I had to stand for a minute or two at the end of the bed in the morning, before I was able to get up. Now I can get up right away! For the time being we're using our existing sheets, but I'm curious what how different will it be if we use stretching sheets, as recommended by Purple. By the way, I did the raw egg test and it passed! Thank you Purple.

The mattress is awesome! Mattress frame is awesome! Customer service....hmmm...not as awesome. My frame box was damaged during shipping and one of the small plastic pieces that are part of the frame fell out of the box. I emailed them asking for a new plastic piece to get sent. Without it my carpet could get damaged... but other than a somewhat witty automatic mass response they send to everyone, I've heard nothing. I have no idea when they'll send me the replacement piece. It is a cheap piece they could send quick and easy. I even sent a pic so they'd know which piece. But alas, I've heard nothing. It is a minor complaint really...I'd buy the mattress and the frame again. And again. And again. It is the most comfortable combination of soft and supportive I've ever experienced and the frame is a perfect, solid, QUIET platform for the bed to rest on. Overall I'm a very happy customer, but I hope they get it together in the customer service department.

The first few nights with our new Purple Matress were a little rough, and I won't pretend like it didn't take me a little more than a week to adjust. However, now that I am adjusted I am getting the most restful sleep I can remember. I have always spent my nights tossing and turning, waking up and struggling to fall back to sleep, but that is a thing of the past. Once I fall asleep I stay asleep all night and wake up feeling rested and energized. I can honestly say that my days are improved because of the better sleep I am getting at night thanks to my new matress, and the pillow has been perfect too!

It took me a few days to adjust to the mattress and I wasn't sleeping great. My previous mattress was very soft and the purple mattress was different from what I was used to. It's been a week and I've gotten used to it and am sleeping like a rock. I don't feel any movement from my husband and he sleeps very soundly too.

My Purple mattress is wonderful. It's firm but just soft enough. When I'm in bed, it's like my back pain goes away! My sheets however, already have multiple holes in them. Only 4 months old. I will admit they came free with purchase of mattress for a Black Friday deal, but replacement sheets from Purple seem way too costly if this is the kind of quality I'd be getting. I'm extremely disappointed with the sheets. Just because of the multiple holes. They are very soft and stretchy though.

Experience with Purple has not been great. First, I was sent a damaged mattress that was bigger than the purple foundation that I purchased. It took over a month to resolve this issue and get a new mattress. Ever since the new mattress arrived I have slept terribly (having to sleep on the floor a few hours each night to ease the pain!). I finally decided to return the mattress before the 100 night trial was over. After two nights of sleeping on a different mattress some of my pain eased, so I went back to my Purple mattress and I just woke up and I have grid marks on my right arm and pain again throughout the right side of my body!

I purchased this mattress before I went in for back surgery. From the time I got home from hospital until today, 1 month after, this has been the best mattress I have ever owned!! I am sleeping so much better and longer than with my previous mattress. Thank you Purple!
