I got the mattress because the commercials are incredible, reviews are terriffic, and customer service is good but I am still debating whether it's woth the price. It's a great bed, don't get me wrong, but it still gets hot (but the pillow sleeps cool all night) my back still hurts most days, and I keep waking up with neck pain. I think maybe the mattress/pillow combo aren't offering enough support. I just didn't want to go through the big return hassel...

We just received our Purple 3 mattress, and I couldn't be happier. This mattress is well worth the investment. It's soft, supportive, and cool, producing the best night's sleep I've had in a long time. My husband said he woke up feeling well-rested without the morning aches and pains he's used to experiencing. We traded in our old Tempurpedic mattress for a new Purple mattress. When it first came out, memory foam was revolutionary. But I've fallen out of love with it over the years. I found that adjusting my sleep position on memory foam was a struggle. It seems to suck you in and it's more of an effort to roll over. I've literally strained my neck and shoulder in my sleep before sleeping on memory foam. Not so with the Purple. It feels buoyant and light. I've had a Purple pillow for several months now, and the Purple mattress makes it feel even better. Because of the way the mattress supports and cushions your body, my head and neck line up perfectly with the Purple pillow. I can't say enough about this mattress. It's wonderful.

The original mattress has been awesome. As a bigger guy I never felt supported and sunk into a mattress and couldn't sit comfortable on the side of the mattress. This mattress is perfect for me it fill firm but definitely supports me as a side sleeper and it allows me to turn over in bed without feeling like I'm fighting the mattress. This is definitely a winner!

This was a big deal purchase for us. Married for 12 years, second mattress purchased together. And we opted to up-size! Best. Decision. Ever. I love our giant bed!! I will admit, this took a little getting used to coming from a sagging spring mattress. I was a little scared as we have slept in one of those Swedish memory foam mattresses at a friend's house. I felt like I was sleeping in sand and couldn't get out. The Purple mattress doesn't do that! It has some bounce! The best review I can give of this is that after sleeping on our Purple mattress for about 3 weeks, I had to go out of town. The very first night in the hotel, I woke up to neck pain, a numb arm, and lower back aches. I actually started to laugh when I woke up because I had FORGOTTEN WHAT THAT FELT LIKE. Seriously.

I thought that my sore back every morning was just middle age creeping up on me. Nope, apparently it was just my firm, expensive mattress. Bought the Purple original mattress and I haven't had a sore back at all in the 3 months I've been using it! It's ridiculously comfortable and I sleep better than I ever have. It really is that good!

This mattress is pretty supportive, I haven't woken up with any back pain yet. BUT the bed to me isn't actually what I would call comfortable. It's pretty firm. If you run your hand on the mattress you can feel the purple gird, which just feels a little odd. Had we laid in the bed before we bought it, we probably wouldn't have! Since we have it and are generally pain free in the mornings, we decided just to keep it. It's an okay mattress, but we're mainly keeping it for the 10 year warranty since most of our beds have start to sag within a couple years

I've been in need of a new mattress for quite a while now, my old one was 20 years old and well past when it should have been replaced. I've known about Purple for a while now, but never really gave them much consideration. I wish I would have so much sooner. I've been a field paramedic for the past twelve years and it has taken its toll on my body. My right shoulder, lower back, both hips, right knee and both ankles aren't what they used to be. My old mattress left me feeling stiff with aches in the morning and I would actually feel tired when waking up instead of rested. I'm a side sleeper and typically fall asleep on my left side, but usually end up on my right side causing my right shoulder to hurt even more. My Purple mattress was delivered this Monday 4-1-19 and when I got home from work I set it up. After getting it setup I laid on it and was amazed at how comfortable it is. With my old mattress I felt like certain spots were being pushed into instead of supported. With the Purple mattress, It's like zero gravity. Just neutral and incredibly comfortable. Flat on my back, laying on both sides, laying face down, there wasn't a single position that felt uncomfortable. My first night was amazing, I woke up and didn't hurt. No aches, no stiff joints, no pain and I felt rested, not tired. I absolutely cannot remember the last time that has happened. Last night was more of the same. No aches, pains, stiff joints or feeling tired. I've only had this mattress two days now, but I am completely satisfied. If you're in need of a new mattress or are looking to upgrade, I cannot recommend the Purple mattress enough. Yes, it's expensive but it's absolutely worth every penny. Do yourself a huge favor and take the plunge on a Purple mattress.

I heard about Purple from a friend. I researched them. Decided to buy 6 mattress sets for me, my wife and my kids. After trying it out for myself, I bought my parents a set and have 34 confirmed orders that have come from my recommendation of friends, clients and colleagues. And so far, every single one of them have raved about it. Just like me. A raving fan of something that can actually be counted on. Oh, yah, and my parents.... My 70 year old father has lost his hip pain he has for the last 5 years somewhere in the purple. And my mother can actually sleep because he isn't moving all around throughout the night. And the snoring has decreased by him. Who would have thought? The problem- you will wait for it. Every second that you put off buying the thing you will eventually end up with, the longer you will wait. This company has nailed it and their sales confirm that. We bought our first Purple mattress for our camper that we were living in while building a house. We loved it so much that we left that mattress in camper and bought another for our bedroom in house. Best night sleep ever. No more waking with aches and pains. We love our Purple mattress!

A little over a year ago we ordered a Purple 2 mattress and power base. The delivery delay was more horrible then the old Temper-pedic mattress we wanted to replace. We almost canceled our order. However we held on a little while longer. And we are so glad we did. Both my husband and l are in our 60's and have back, hip and shouldar joint pain. Our old Temper-pedic was just not helping either of us. It was hot - fine in winter but during a typical Texas summer nite it was like sleeping on a heating pad. The delivery and set up crew were fast, polite and efficent. Our new bed was set up and ready for a test nap within 30 minutes. The comfort was shocking and the power base made the mattress even more comfortable. Even more amazing was both of us were pretty much pain free within 7 days. In April 2019 we took a long road trip. On day 10 we decided to cut our trip short and head home. Our aches and pains were back with a vengence thanks to the hotel beds. With a few days of sleeping on our Purple2 mattress those aches and pains were gone. We like our Purple so much we are buying another one to put in our new Travel trailer. The new pillow top Serta is nice enough but no way near as comfy as the Purple...
