One week after receiving, Mattress and Pillow are great together, good from the first night for me. Sheets are so different that they take some getting used to, top sheet doesn't behave like traditional sheets, but they are comfortable. Sleep does seem cooler with Purple, anxious to see how things go as it gets warmer this summer.

I've had some other high end mattresses, and ended up trying out Purple. I really like it. It's got the stability of a good memory foam mattress, but soft just on top. I usually sleep hot on memory foam mattresses, but I don't sleep hot on this one at all. I had a few beers with friends and tried to do the egg test. We were slightly drunk, and TRYING to break the egg... Still couldn't do it! My advice is if you're looking for an amazingly comfortable mattress without breaking the bank, give Purple a try. I'm not disappointed, and I don't believe you will be either! Also, with their in home trial period, you really have nothing to lose! Side note - This thing is HEAVY. Buying the Purple mattress was one of our families' biggest financial investments (not inclusive of our car), however has probably been the BEST investment we have made. Our sleep has been forever changed for the better. Our backs no longer ache in the mornings, and EVERYONE who lays on our Purple immediately wants one, too. Thank you, Purple. We will never buy a standard mattress EVER again.

Its a decent mattress and like that it sleeps cool and should maintain its shape as well as minimize motion transfer. But honestly, I don't feel much of a difference between the Purple Mattress and any other mattress I've slept on (maybe cause I'm a lighter weight dude?). A little disappointed in this mattress overall, feel like I could have spent half the price on any other mattress and still would have felt the same. Long term wise though, the purple just may be better.

The purple mattress was comfortable for the first couple months. Shortly after the weight of my body (175 lbs) started leaving the mattress uneven. I tried moving sides and rotating the mattress but nothing worked. Now every night it sucks me into the middle of the mattress and puts me at an old angle leaving my back hurting most morning. I do not recommend buying this mattress because it does not stay comfortable for more than a few months

Over the past fifteen years, I have been on a quest. I have been looking for the best nights sleep. I was buying a new bed every two years (it takes me about a year to decide if I really like a mattress or not). After trying all sorts of different technologies and brands, someone suggested looking at one of the new bed in a box companies. I did my research, looked at all the major players, read tons of reviews, and finally decided Purple looked the most promising. And, it was a fraction of the cost of many of my previous beds! I took the jump, and ordered a queen sized Purple mattress. I can honestly say it was a lot of fun to unpack. My favorite part is breaking the vacuum seal and watching the mattress pop up like a giant marshmallow! I remember laying on it just minutes after unpacking and feeling absolutely weightless. I spent the next week trying to find an uncomfortable position to sleep in (I failed). No matter how contorted, I'd fall asleep within minutes. It is also the only mattress I have found which allows me to fall asleep on my back (priceless). Fast forward one year, and I have ordered a king sized Purple (upgrading). If these beds sleeps as well on year five and year ten as on night 1, they will be more than worth the investment!

I sleep in all positions and my wife mainly is a side sleeper. We've now had our Purple for about 2 months and wow, we love how it feels. It supports in the right ways, we don't wake up hurting anymore like we did with our previous mattress. Also love how cool it stays, it warms up to your body, but never really seems to retain or build up heat. If I get up the use the bathroom and lay back down it's not cold, but it feels fresh, not like most mattress I've had that are still warm after minutes. We're extremely pleased with this mattress so far.

It's a good mattress, but after reading hundreds of reviews and researching for a months, it certainly didn't live up to my expectations. I sleep well, but really not much better than I did on my 10 year old matress and box springs. I've slept better on memory foam mattresses. I'm not knocking it...it seems like it's alleviated pain for a lot of people, but I wasn't experiencing any bad pain before, so I don't have that aspect to review. Also, I'm pretty sure I broke one of the grids on the top of the mattress yesterday when I put my knee into it. I heard and felt a pop under my knee, and I wasn't putting all of my weight on it (I weigh about 180), so I'm not sure how durable this thing will be.

We had been sleeping on the "famous brand' memory foam mattress for the last seven years and never really liked the feeling of sinking into the mattress and then trying to get out of a hole. We did out research on the latest online bed in box companies and Purple really stood out for us due to its unique purple layer. Delivery was good and with two people we got the purple egg roll to our bedroom. Unwrapping was a snap and we had a great night sleep the very first night. It is provides support where it is needed and you don't feel trapped in the mattress. The first night I slept right up to my alarm whereas previously I would wake in anticipation of the alarm, so I was very sound asleep. I highly recommend the Purple mattress!

Ordering was really easy. We ended up deciding we wanted the base bundle after we had ordered the mattress so we had to contact customer service. They responded quickly and were really great to work with. The base was easy to to set up and so was the mattress. The purple mattress is different than any mattress I had ever slept on so it did take a couple nights to get used to it. My first night I did not get a great night of sleep. I woke up uncomfortable a couple times. This was true for the first night or two. After a couple nights my body adjusted and now I sleep great! My partner has back pain when he sleeps and he has LOVED the mattress and hasn't had any back pain. One last note be prepared that this mattress truly does not hold heat. The first couple nights I kept waking up cold so I have had to wear warmer pajamas and put on more blankets.
