I started using Iams several months ago. It brought renewed energy to my older dog. He was very lethargic until we changed foods. Now he runs like a pup again. The groomer raves about our younger dogs shiny coats. It has also cut our pup waste in half!

She was eating kibbles in bits which is full of all kinds of fillers and junk because that's all she would eat. Now that we see how much she love this, it will definitely be our new 'go to' brand.

I started off by mixing a little in with her current dog food and then worked my way into giving her just the Iams. I like the protein and nutriets Iams Dog Food provides for my little furry friend. I would recommend this products to any dog owners!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first opened the bag I was a bit skeptical on whether or not my dog would eat it. Personally it does not look very good. It looks like cheap dollar store dog food. I was afraid My dog would take one sniff and walk way. Well that wasn't the case to my surprise she loved it! I used the scooper that came with it and poured her a cup and she ate it all. Mind you my dog is a tea cup terrier so she only weighs 2LBS. I was very surprised she could or would eat so much in one sitting. I decided it would be a god idea to look at the ingredients. As most companies state its is made with real meat product and 90% of the time it I not. On the ingredient listing the first product that is used is Chicken. I was quite happy to see that. Then I continue reading and I get a bit ugh upset when I see Chicken By-Product Meal as the fourth ingredient. I continue reading and find such things as Flax Meal, Inositol and Pyridoxine Hydrochloride. As a pet "mom" these are some of the things you want to stay away from when choosing nutritious food for you beloved pet. I am completely turned off by the Chicken by-product meal. This is in no way health for my pet. I was really hoping this would be something I could continue to buy for her as she enjoyed it so much. Needless to say I will not be buying this product. My pups have always been really slim, we couldn't figure out anything to help them put on weight, we started trying this about a year ago, and with in 3 months they started putting on weight.! My female looks healthy, but our male is still a little thin, but he's still young.!

When the dog food arrived I read the bag to find out what were the ingredients and to my surprise one of them was chicken. My fears were over because my dog loves chicken. She usually eats as soon as I get home from work but the first day I put down her new food this changed. When I got home from work her food dish was already empty. Boy was I surprised. When I put down her dinner portion she went right to town. She was loving every moment of her dish. Before I ran out I went right to the market to get some more Iams as to not let my dog down. I've found her a new favorite.

I didn't notice a change in her appetite or reaction to the dry food; she ate it just the same as our previous brand. All in all, I personally feel that the Iams Proactive Health line is a pretty good fit for the dog food that I currently buy. However - those seeking a more "superior" product might not be a fan of this food. Even though the first ingredient is chicken, most of the ingredients that follow are grains and a couple of controversial ingredients like beet pulp and brewer's yeast. A couple of quick clicks on the internet lead to reviews that deem the product's ingredients "below average," which might concern those looking to try the Iams Proactive Health line.

All 3 of my dogs thrive on this food. As a puppy, our doodle had a sensitive tummy and we tried 10+ different foods over the course of a few months. Finally her issues subsided after starting her on Minichunks. Honestly, now I'm too nervous to try her on anything different!

It keeps my dog in shape and healthy. This food has made a difference in dogs fur. The only con is the mini bites seem to go everywhere if you spill them. The product is a must for pet owners. This formula keeps my dog in shape. I have to care about what I feed my dog because he is allergic to certain food fillers.
