[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kellogg's Special K Strawberry Protein Meal Bar a better than I expected. You can really taste the perfect blend of strawberries and sweetness and neither was overpowering. There was a grittiness feeling in my mouth when chewing it but it didn't affect anything and wasn't so bad that I didn't want to continue eating it.

It did satisfy my hunger, but it definitely could do better. The one thing I didnt care for regarding this meal bar was how hard it was. I felt like I was going to chip a tooth with the first bite and then you have to chew it up really good before you swallow. My suggestion would be to make a softer bar. I will probably try the Brownie Batter Bar next if my store gets it in stock.

I guess it really depends on your tastes, and I prefer something that is not dipped, adding to the sweetness. The flavor is artificial, again the coating does not help. It's almost chalky and very artificial.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flavor & chocolate coating were nice but the texture was a bit grainy and dry. I recommend eating this with a coffee or milk type drink. I don't typically eat this type of bar but I have been trying to lose weight & make some changes so I wanted to give them a try. All in all it wasn't bad. If you are expecting it to taste like a candy bar you will be disappointed. If you expect it to tast like a protein bar, you'll love it! It does satisfy your hunger and did keep me full for several hours which is a big benefit when trying to slim down.

Of course these don't taste as great as the cereal bars, but they’re way better than most protein bars. Helps to keep me semi-full until lunch or supper time. I highly recommend these if you like strawberries, you will not be disappointed.

The texture was way better than I expected. Usually protein bars are soft and chewy but these were like a granola or cereal bar. A little crisp and so delicious!! I really loved the coating and slight sweetness. The aroma of strawberry instantly filled the air when I opened this protein bar. I would eat them all if I could! My kids, 8 & 12, thought they were delicious too! I will most definitely be repurchasing and always keep these on hand.

I have had a few as a quick lunch when running around. They've also been great to keep me going in the afternoon until I can have dinner. Will definitely purchase again.
