This is my favorite dish soap and to be honest it's great for multiple things not just dishes. It's great at cutting grease and effectively cleans dishes without a lot of work. I also use it to get stains out of clothing. I have to use very little to get the job done so the Dawn dish soap is more cost effective in the long run.

Simply cannot tolerate the smell. Took me a couple of days to realize that it was actually the dish soap since I've used Dawn for years but the first time I used Dawn platinum. Not any more. Gave the two bottles I purchased away. The smell literally stays on the dishes. Will not buy again

I have used the Original Dawn Platinum since it first hit the shelves. I LOVED it and recommended it highly. I had some stocked up, so I didn't realize right away that the scent changed. I recently opened a bottle and was overwhelmed by the new perfume smell. The bottle looks exactly the same, so I went to store after store looking for the unscented/original Platinum. I did some research and discovered it isn't available any longer without the horrible smell. Not only does the stink give me a headache, but the perfume also made my hands dry out and crack. Now my knuckles are bleeding, dry and itchy. I threw the two brand new bottles I just purchased in the trash.

As a Dawn user for many years (and a PG stock holder), I’m extremely disappointed with the new scent. It’s a sickening sweet smell and way too strong. Why mess with such an effective, successful product?! I’m seriously considering no longer using Dawn. It’s that bad!

Absolutely love Dawn dish soap. Makes washing dishes a whole heck of a lot easier. There claim tough on grease soft on hands, is totally true. Being a mom with kids I tend to find myself washing the same dishes a few times through the day.. my hands are still just as smooth as a baby's well you know.. definitely worth the price.

The new scent is overpowering and it lingers. I thought it might have been user error and I didn't fully rinse out my pans, but reading other reviews assures me this is not the case. I was making eggs and the perfume of the soap was wafting out of the pan as I cooked. The smell lingers on hands and dishes. I used the bulk dawn dish soap for everything from at home dishes, to cleaning my lab glassware in my classroom, as well as in some experiements. I hate to waste it but I don't think we can finish the bottle.

I have used this bottle, and everytime I use it for my dishes, I find it does not suds, or the soap suds do. It stay with the water, and as for cleaning grease residue, it is not very efficient. I also find that the Dawn Ultra for soaking th dishes would never last for an overnight soaking as the label states.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dawn has improved the way to clean dishes and as well as cleaning the counter tops with the ease to cutting grease much faster and safer than before. the hands are softer with the new Dawn as well. no need to put lotion on after a cleaning of dishes from a greasy meal.

We miss the classic Dawn dish washing soap. The new “Clean Scent” formulation has a strong, lingering perfume-like smell that is very unpleasant. I honestly think that the smell is reminiscent of the blue liquid found in Porto-potties or the disinfectant “cakes” used in urinals. I have used Dawn for 56 years, but just threw this new bottle in the trash. Please bring back the classic scent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product. You can pre-soak the pan immediately after cooking with a little Dawn Platnium. Go eat dinner and catch the news. Rinse, scrub a little, wash. Even the grungiest pan gets clean.
