I have used Dawn for decades. I started using the Platinum when it first came out. I just grab a bottle at the store and go. A couple months ago, I got a new bottle. First time doing the dishes the smell was terrible! I thought I had grabbed the wrong bottle. I looked and it was the Platinum, but I noticed the scent on the bottle was different. Refreshing Rain is similar to Fresh Scent so I didn't notice it. I went to several stores looking for the plan Fresh Scent and it is no where to be found. I see on Dawn's website it is not even listed anymore as an option. I'm extremely disappointed in this changed. The smell is way to storage and overbearing. I will have to go to another brand of dish soap.

Can't stand using this dish soap anymore. New Refreshing Rain scent makes me nauseous. It is unbearable and way too fragrant! Will be looking for a new dish soap if the formula doesn't change back to the original. Would have been nice if the company would have at least given a warning of this new change. Very disappointed.

The new Refreshing Rain scent is harsh and sends a spike right up my nose. It does not wash off hands and stays on dishes and sponges. No amount of extra scrubbing seems to remove it. The scent is extremely sharp and hurts the inside of my sinuses. I have smelt this exact aromachemical in some perfumes before and I cannot wear them due to the chemical smell. Why would Dawn use this in their dishwashing liquid? It triggers my allergies, asthma and induces migraines. Had to throw out a practically brand new bottle because of the shrill scent. I prefer the original scent of Dawn. The noxious smelling aromachemical is most likely Norlimbanol, Amberwood, Cetalox or Ambroxan. If you can't stand those notes used in perfume - stay away from Dawn's Refreshing Rain dishwashing liquid.

The original formula is great but this one definitely made it better. The potency of this is amazing. A quarter size amount will fill a sink with suds and clean a whole load of dishes. This gets plastic squeaky clean. It helps with staining and odor retention on plastics. I use it for really dirty pots and pans with no problem. The best dish soap I have ever used.

Honestly I don’t know who would buy any other brand of dish soap. I only have to put a little bit on the sponge and it lasts a whole sink full of dishes. There’s no residue or spots. I literally buy this in bulk an even have a travel size for camping.

I prefer dawn dishwashing liquid over any other brand. With dawn all you need is a good size drop and it does the trick. It doesn’t take much soap to clean. Which makes your bottle last much longer. Also it’s not a brand that’s too pricey. Dawn Ultra Concentrated Dish Liquid Original

I started using the product to wash my dishes when traveling for work. I've been on the road and staying in motels for 42 years. The first time I used it I left a few dishes to soak for a few minutes. When I came back to wash them, it looked like they had already been scrubbed. Awesome product.

I can clean dishes, grease on our hands, clean baby animals we have, clean toys, and much more! It doesn't fade the items we clean and it is wonderful!

Wish I didn’t have to be but Dawn really is a better brand than a lot of dishwashing soap’s. I do like the ultra platinum it just helps cut off some extra grease especially if I leave anything overnight and I would suggest sticking with a brand once it works for you. Dawn just happens to be that brand for me

Have used dawn with much appreciation for years. Dawn platinum was great. Now it has a sickly unpleasant smell which wafts when hot water hits it. Can't stand it; it affects my breathing and absolutely is not like refreshing rain! Bring back the previous scent!
