Thank you, Kelly, for reaching out to Dawn and sharing your thoughts regarding Dawn's recent scent change. The product you selected, Dawn Platinum Dish Soap with Refreshing Rain has not had a scent update since 2022. However, it did just go through a name change, dropping the "Re" but keeping the "Fresh". Your message seems to be pointing to our Dawn Ultra Original's recent scent update. As the first scent change in over 10 years, we understand you may be frustrated by this change. We did consult with teams of consumers, and the new "Clean Scent" was the one selected. Our Safety Team also reviewed everything in this product, making sure your safety is assured when the soap is used as directed. You may have a particular sensitivity, and we ask you to stop using this soap so you'll remain comfortable and safe. Give us a call for further assistance, it's our pleasure to do what we can to help. Our number is 1 (800) 725-3296. We're here from 9 AM to 6 PM, EST, Mondays through Fridays.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the new scent of Dawn, and we hope that you're feeling better. Your loyalty means a lot to us and please be assured that we thoroughly test all of our ingredients for safety before we use them in a product, and this is not something we would expect. Safety is our top priority and based on what you shared we do recommend discontinuing use of this Dawn. We hope you'll give our Dawn E-Z Squeeze Free & Clear Fragrance-Free a try, as it has all of the cleaning power of Dawn with no added scent.
