Fragrance

Fragrance is so strong it gives my family a headache. We have diluted soap and the fragrance is still too strong. Multiple rinsing of dishes leaves traces of soap that you can taste ...especially on coffee mugs ! WIll go back to original.

We're sorry that this has been your experience, and we hope that your family is feeling better. Safety is at the heart of all we do here at Dawn, so we can assure you that all of our products have been thoroughly evaluated to be safe when used as directed. We'll be sure to pass your comments along. We certainly wouldn't expect Dawn to impart any taste of the product into your dishes. However, if the soap isn't completely rinsed off, or if the dishes have become porous, it's possible. If certain items always pick up a flavor, they're probably worn to the point of being porous, and should be rinsed thoroughly and shouldn't be soaked. We hope that you find this helpful. We'd like to gather some more details for our Safety Team, so please give us a call at (800) 725-3296 when you have a moment.

This is the best one I ever used. I never buy anything else. Cleans really really well and is very effective. Its not pricey at all, can be purchased anywhere.

Dawn is the only and best liquid soap I ever use. It's tough on dishes, dirt, and cleans really well. The soap is thick and lathers great so the bottle will last a while.

Truly disappointed

Couldn’t find regular dawn so I tried dawn ultra platinum. It looks and feels different and the suds don’t last very long. Truly disappointed in this terrible iteration. Won’t buy it again.

Horrid New Fragrance

I don't know what you did but the new fragrance is overwhelmingly disgusting! I can longer buy this product. Why do you change a good thing? Don't try to tell us you did not change the fragrance. My nose knows!

Safe enough for wild life safe enough for my dishes

I always use dawn dishsoap when I am trying to get the grease off my dishes, pots and pans! The scent can vary but the clean it leaves behind cannot be matched! I've tried other brands and have just made my way back to what works best in our home!!

I can’t keep any other dish soap by my sink. Nothing cuts grease or compares to Dawn. The Platinum is my favorite, just because of the smell. But it still has the power of regular Dawn.

Dawn is so great for those tough pots or baked on messes. Soak those puppies in Dawn for few minutes those messes will slide right off. I don’t care for the smell too much but i just have suck it up for a few minutes because nothing works better.

Dawn dish soap is always my go to. This platinum dish soap is by far my favorite. It quickly lifts up caked on food and makes it a lot easier and quicker to get my dishes clean.
