[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so I get super picky about the rice I eat. Every single brand of ready rice I've tried has been terrible. It's always so sticky and mush when you pull it out of the microwave. It's never fluffy and it always has this weird taste. Not this kind at all. When you pour it out of the bowl it's easy to fluff with a fork and is not sticky. It also doesn't have a terrible aftertaste either. Then only reason I gave it four stars is because I want them to make bigger portions. I hate that I have to purchase multiple bags to feed my family of five. It would be nice if they came out with a family pack. Other than that if you're a Mom with a full time job and constantly being on the go like me, this is perfect for that quick weeknight dinner side. You can even make it the main dish as fried rice! Usually I don't use anything but leftover rice for that dish but this works well!

All you need to do is break up the rice in the punch, tear about two inches to vent the bag and microwave it for 2 minutes and then you have completely cooked, great tasting rice to add to any dish. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This family size basmati ready rice from Ben's Original is good! The size is perfect - it gave us 3 good sized portions to go with our meal. The instructions were easy to follow; you literally just tear to vent, microwave for 2 minutes, and it's done. The rice was a good texture, not mushy or too soft. My husband said it looked and felt like rice at an Indian restaurant. I'm so pleased this came in basmati, we do quite a bit of Indian food and prefer to make basmati rice to go with it. This pouch will make meal prep even simpler!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Uncle Ben's rice has always been a staple in my household, long before these new easy heat and serve pouches came about. Honestly, I don't particularly love the flavor of this rice on its own but I always add to it to spice it up. If I want just rice I add a little salt, pepper and butter. Otherwise I use this rice in any recipe that calls for it. Rice cakes, stuffed peppers and cabbage, fried rice, rice bowls, soups etc. I like the family size pouch as I can portion it out to use for different meals. I believe the convenience is my favorite part. I probably ate from this one family size pouch for at least a week. This size pouch would absolutely benefit larger families. I plan to try a broccoli, cheese, rice and chicken casserole with this rice soon.

The taste is really off but I still love the brand and maybe it would have been different if I tried a different rice but this was awful. Their dry rice is amazing and I will still use it to this day but this was a major disappointment.

Both myself and my partner work so we are always looking for quick meals we can put together that is healthy and easy to make. The basmati rice is our favorite but we have tried almost every flavor. The family size feeds our family of two for two meals and it keeps great as leftovers.

Basmati can be tricky to make sometimes and takes a little bit of time if you want to make it perfect and not have it stick together. I love that I can just heat this up. Dinner is so much quicker and the kids love it.
