Sam's has got to work on the consistency of this cake. Some locations it too brown and dry and other locations it's better.

Purchased two french vanilla pound cakes. The first one was dry, so we cut into the second one and it was not completely baked on the inside. These caked are nothing like the ones they use to make. What a disappointment.

This cake is really good. I’m glad they gave it out as a tester. That’s what moved me to buy it. Of course it’s not going to taste like a homemade cake but it’s in the ball park with great flavor. I wish it came in lemon too.

Very dry, even with cherry pie filling and whipped cream added. No butter flavor, and I do not find butter listed in ingredients. Not a typical Pound cake.

I love pound cake and looked forward to this. It was very undercooked. You could see uncooked batter jiggle and smear it around. It's too bad because I ate a bite from one end and it was good.

This is the worst pound cake - I don't understand the postive reviews. It is flavorless, dry and crumbly. Maybe OK in avsample size (1 bite) but don't even bother thinking you will get a decent slice intact.
