I almost didn't purchase this, because the outer layer was darker than how most other pound cakes appear. I have to say I'm glad I got it. The outer layer was slightly crunchy, and the inner parts were soft and moist. Which resembles a kind of banana bread, and when paired with your favorite ice cream, it's simply a delight.

This was a nice surprise. Kept looking at it each trip the decided to give it a shot. That was the right move. It hits the sweet tooth without being too sweet. It is firm yet soft, there is no butter or vanilla overpowering the flavor-it just works. Will definitely buying more.

This pound cake is absolutely delicious. It’s moist with a good vanilla flavor. I only gave it 4 stars because it was burned on the top; just a little with a dark brown color and a slight burnt taste. Every one of them in the bakery had the same dark top so it wasnt a co mistake with just this one. Even though the slight burned taste detracted from the overall taste, as a whole the cake was still delicious and I will definitely buy it again.

I can't tell you how delicious this pound cake was! I cannot buy another one lest I want to gain 5 pounds because I cannot get enough once I get started.

Really big , taste is great and the size is more than an average pound cakes. Cannot find a better price. Great for Strawberry Shortcake or any dessert you would like. Warm in microwave and it is so good.

So soft. I haven't had pound cake this good in a while. It's my new favorite! The outside is a little sweet but the inside is perfect. I pair it black coffee.

While the flavor is good, the bread is extremely dry and crumbly. I make pound cake and mine is moist and hold together very well. We thought we would try this one for comparison. We won't be purchasing it again. Way too dry.

This pound cake was good, but not great. It was a little dry because you would need hot tea, milk or a Snapple to offset the dryness. It did have a homemade quality to it. It was better than most store bought brands.

It tasted pretty good, but that was a day where the oven must’ve been too dark because they must’ve had 48 of them all stacked on a table and so many of them look like they were almost burnt. The one I found wasn’t quite that dark and it was a little dry, but we still ate it. Things happen. !!!

Just tasted like cake. Wasnt heavy and dense like i remember pound cake tasting like. It was dry and crumbly and i didnt tast a strong vanilla taste. It was a bland yellow or white cake mix in a loaf pan to me.
