GPS is back! The GoPro 13 is great within its limitations. It’s not going to replace your DSLR or high end point and shoot for photos. It’s not going to replace a high end video camera either. But you wouldn’t want to take those high end cameras to places we’re high end cameras go to die. That being said the GoPro 13 is a seasoned system where there are consistent improvements. It works and you don’t have to think about it and miss the shot. I have not tried the assortment of lenses yet. But expect to have a solid product when I do. The magnetic prongs. Wow! I compared to to Brand I magnetic attachment and I feel very confident that the GoPro’s will keep the camera safely attached during reasonable activity. Photos good quality except in low light conditions. If you are taking photos of crusty old men in a dark room then Brand I is your choice. But outside it’s GoPro 13! The zoom is easier to use on the GoPro 13 then Brand I which makes it the choice for close ups without changing the lense. Weight and size are perfect. It doesn’t feel like you are lugging around a rock. Normal sized hands and it fits comfortably. A great camera for trips where you are outside weight and space is an issue. Beim Hochladen in die Cloud sollte das Telefon mit dem Ladegerät verbunden sein, aber es wird angezeigt, dass das Gerät vom Ladegerät getrennt wird, da die Kamera überhitzt ist. Die Qualität der Nachtaufnahmen ist schlechter als bei einem Telefon, das vor 5 Jahren gekauft wurde.

I received my GoPro 13 Saturday sept 7. The GoPro will not work unless I update it and connect to the app, The app is outdated on Android and apple therefore I have a camera that absolutely does not work . Seems to me the company would have this problem fixed before selling a 400 dollar camera,

Wifi 6 (FASTER cloud uploads via camera direct) uploading 1+ hr video daily (1Tb monthly per GoPro = currently 5+ TB @ 4hrs per day @ uploading using GoPros) Bought 1 to test (no problems yet) trying to see possiblities (don't think newer "quick release CLIP" mount will work vertically) 4k 8:7 (front) ____ will buy another Black Friday ____ Hoping camera is HOT (temperature) enough to use during the winter (2@ all 8/10/11 turn off don't work under 40F for continuous video = useless @ 10 minutes max) thinking camera and/or magnetic charger will solve cold temp videos problems glad to see GPS is back (speed, routes maps) hoping —NEW— heatsink will help keep GoPro cooler during summer (above 80f for continuous videos) Only negative — neutral — is NEW BATTERY DESIGN (must buy newer batteries ____ WISHING "MINI" (if made has a removable battery= even if smaller capacity)

So I thought I would treat the wife to the latest update in camera as we both have the 11 hero black Got out to Iceland for the northern lights to find the most important thing is now missing NIGHT LAPSE What was you thinking of?. ? So it’s going back and will now stay with the trusted 11 black GoPro must think people only want to go out wild with it NOT HAPPY

This New GoPro is great. GoPro did a very good job with the cool auto detect lenses and love that you can use a magnetic mount with it and the 1/4'' thread mount for tripods. Some of use might be disappointed that the battery is different but I think it is worth it with the more battery time you get. Ps. Great job GoPro,

**Disappointing Experience with the GoPro 13** I recently purchased the GoPro 13, expecting the usual high performance and durability that GoPro is known for. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfying. Despite being advertised as waterproof, the camera took in water after just a few minutes at a depth of 2 meters. This is extremely disappointing, especially for a product designed for adventure and underwater use. Given the price and reputation, I expected better quality and reliability. I can no longer trust this camera for any water-related activities.

After several GoPro series starting with the OG Hero I skipped the 12 but decided to grab the 13. Camera arrived and I went thru the normal setup process and charged it up. After an hour I find the camera doesn't recognize the battery. Do the whole reset song and dance. Battery shows up long enough to do the installation update then again says no battery , then 100% battery, 0% battery then goes into bootloop of death. Sad to say but this one it being returned.

New batteries for Hero 13 Black are great except when charging in the camera overheats and shuts down. Camera overheats on the Surface and in Dive Housing. Gone is the Narrow Field of View option. Photos have obvious distortion in a circle around the center of the picture. After market Macro Lenses (so I can switch between small an huge objects underwater shows a the metal edge of the lensed. Camera is of no value to me when Diving below 33 feet or on the surface as it overheats. GoPro owes their buyers a fix or exchange for new camera once they fix the problems. If tge 8 or more Hero Black cameras I have purchased this is my first and biggest disappointment. With my previous GoPros I have taken photos that eliceted comment from profesional underwater photographers of "You took that with a GoPro?!!!" Even wone a contest or two. But the Hero 13 Black is not up to that level.
