Love it

I followed the instructions and attached my new GoPro13 to my new ski helmet. Had an amazing day skiing in Canaan WV. I was so exited to see my footage but on my last run the mount came off and I lost everything on the mountain. Search for another hour trying to use my Bluetooth connection of my phone. I even had the subscription to the cloud hoping the footage would upload. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the camera. I have plenty of extra accessories should I buy another. Don’t trust the adhesive tape, even if all the cool footage on the internet shows otherwise.

After several GoPro series starting with the OG Hero I skipped the 12 but decided to grab the 13. Camera arrived and I went thru the normal setup process and charged it up. After an hour I find the camera doesn't recognize the battery. Do the whole reset song and dance. Battery shows up long enough to do the installation update then again says no battery , then 100% battery, 0% battery then goes into bootloop of death. Sad to say but this one it being returned.

So I thought I would treat the wife to the latest update in camera as we both have the 11 hero black Got out to Iceland for the northern lights to find the most important thing is now missing NIGHT LAPSE What was you thinking of?. ? So it’s going back and will now stay with the trusted 11 black GoPro must think people only want to go out wild with it NOT HAPPY

Only negative is video clarity (can't read license lates past 1. 5 car lengths) _____ Battery life is the best of ALL GoPros to date. No need for 2nd battery anymore (must remove if camera uploading = will explode due to overheating) ***negative*** newer battery size/design ____ if overheating it will turn off (if uploading to cloud = videos percentage freezes but APP shows near FULL uploads @ 1/4 videos then 25% — but — APP shows 3+ completely uploaded)

This New GoPro is great. GoPro did a very good job with the cool auto detect lenses and love that you can use a magnetic mount with it and the 1/4'' thread mount for tripods. Some of use might be disappointed that the battery is different but I think it is worth it with the more battery time you get. Ps. Great job GoPro,

GPS is back! The GoPro 13 is great within its limitations. It’s not going to replace your DSLR or high end point and shoot for photos. It’s not going to replace a high end video camera either. But you wouldn’t want to take those high end cameras to places we’re high end cameras go to die. That being said the GoPro 13 is a seasoned system where there are consistent improvements. It works and you don’t have to think about it and miss the shot. I have not tried the assortment of lenses yet. But expect to have a solid product when I do. The magnetic prongs. Wow! I compared to to Brand I magnetic attachment and I feel very confident that the GoPro’s will keep the camera safely attached during reasonable activity. Photos good quality except in low light conditions. If you are taking photos of crusty old men in a dark room then Brand I is your choice. But outside it’s GoPro 13! The zoom is easier to use on the GoPro 13 then Brand I which makes it the choice for close ups without changing the lense. Weight and size are perfect. It doesn’t feel like you are lugging around a rock. Normal sized hands and it fits comfortably. A great camera for trips where you are outside weight and space is an issue. Got a camera brand new used it one time never dropped tried using again and it won’t read the 2 brand new batteries I put in it try calling support and can barley understand who I’m talking to and the only help she has for me is to try a different battery and that she’d give me 15 percent off the new go pro. Horrible product and horrible company definitely recommend DJI go pro will not help you at all
