Customer reviews for Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Anti-Rebound Bar Car Seat, Prescott forVersatile Convertible Carseat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with this carseat! There are a lot of pros: extended rear-facing to 50 pounds, convertible carseat that can be used for many years (from infant to booster!), easy to install with the latch, nice clean black look, machine washable covers, and some valuable safety features like the anti-rebound bar that provide peace of mind. I really liked that we could use it for both our toddler and newborn if needed after adjusting the seat. Some considerations: It seems a bit wider than other carseats, so you may want to test this if you have a tight fit or are trying to get three carseats across in a back row. I also wish the fabric and materials were non-toxic and eco-friendly, avoided flame retardants, etc. Overall though - a great carseat that can grow with your child! I was given this convertible car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
Graco seat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our favorite feature of the Graco Extend2Fit 3in1 was the grow with my baby capability, ability to stay rear facing longer, but besides the obvious safety features, the super functional DOUBLE CUP HOLDERS!! Because really, does a child ever need multiple reachable hydration/snack stations, YES! While potentially taking up more room, the anti-rebound bar is an obvious safety feature that all convertible seats should include. Our babies seats are for safety #1 every time, and that’s exactly what it does, keeps our babies seats from bouncing around and stabilizing their seat. While I can’t speak to the extendable panel for extra legroom with my baby less than a year of age, with him in the higher percentiles for height it is reassuring the have this feature for our future. And for this same reasoning appreciate the ability to keep him rear facing for longer too. While difficult to know what my babies favorite thing about a seat is without him telling me, it’s clear to see that he is comfortable and ready to ride. No fussing from him! Woohoo! Let’s go! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this convertible car seat.
Perfect Car Seat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This car seat is actually amazing. I received it from the Stellar Product Panel and I am THRILLED. We have a 3 and 2 year old and a 3 month old, so we deal with car seats a lot. This car seat has great features like cup holders which our current car seat doesn’t, and allows for extended rear facing with the extendable panel. Our 3 year old, who is normally forward facing due to feeling cramped, had PLENTY of room in this car seat and did not complain about riding in it, which is amazing for a parent who cares about extended rear facing. We also love the anti rebound bar, which is actually the reason we bought our other car seat - at the time it was the only one on the market with it. But this one has it and it’s a better design than the other one! Installation is typical for a car seat - not too easy, but not too hard. The car seat truly fits a wide variety of kids - we tried all of our kids in it and were easily able to make them comfortable. My two year and three year olds even fought over who got to sit in the cup holder car seat, lol! Even though I got this to review, I’m about to replace our (more expensive) car seats with this one. I am blown away! Buy it!!
Toddler and Mama Approved
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to test out this car seat because Graco is a brand that I usually trust because of its commitment to quality and safety. This convertible car seat did not disappoint! The Graco® Extend2Fit® 3-in-1 Car Seat featuring Anti-Rebound Bar was solid in its feel while still maintaining high levels of comfort, so much so that my toddler just wanted to stay sitting in it, although we will test that out on a long car trip when we go to see our family cross-country at Christmas! the straps were of nice quality and also comfortable, especially around my son's neck. I think one of my favorite features is the tray that extends out for them to rest their feet on as they get taller. I have not experienced a car seat with an anti-rebound bar and I have to say that the safety nut in me is quite impressed, more stabilization when they are rear-facing should we ever have the unfortunate experience of being in a wreck is of great assurance to me. The cupholders were big enough to hold his water bottle. My one complaint would be the top car seat buckle is more difficult to open and the buttons to release the anti-rebound bar were a little finicky. But other than that, this car seat was a dream to install and use. I'm thankful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this convertible car seat.
Really nice convertible car seat option
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My toddler really likes this seat. We recently flipped our toddler forward facing and he didn't like his current seat in this position. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this convertible car seat, we installed our new Graco extent to fit in our minivan and went for a ride. He was so happy! He can reach his cup holders, the seat is nicely padded and it's a breeze to secure him in. Installation was super quick and simple and the seat doesn't weight a ton. Overall this is a really nice convertible car seat that we can see ourselves using for years to come!
New model has awesome upgrades
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the new Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Car seat. We have been previously using the prior model of this car seat, and the new upgrades are awesome. My 18 month old fits perfectly in the rear facing configuration with no leg scrunching so we will be able to keep him rear facing for quite a while! The new anti-rotation bar creates a snugger fit, and the is less “wiggle” to the car seat after it’s installed so it feels much more secure. I was initially concerned that that we would not be able to use the bar in our Ford Escape as my husband is a taller guy and has to have the seat pushed fairly far back, but there were no issues at all! Now instead of having to pull the latch up when loosing the straps, there is a button that is pressed down which I found significantly easier to use than the previous model. The Velcro to remove the cushions is another upgrade we appreciate for cleaning snacks and spills out of the seat. We haven’t had to use the extended leg panel yet, but when we tested it; it slid with ease. I’m sure as my son gets taller we will get a ton of use. Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this convertible car seat!
Slim car seat that grows with baby
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this convertible car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Our favorite feature of this car seat is that it is slim and not bulky. We have captain chairs and it fits nicely in the chair without any overhang. If needed, it also fits in our third row without any issue. We prefer car seats that can grow with baby and the option for extended rear-facing is ideal and a great fit for us. The anti-rebound bar gives us the comfort of additional safety and we are glad this car seat has this feature. It also helps keep the car seat stable and more planted into the seat.
Huge fans of this extended rear facing seat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We knew we wanted our 3 year old to stay rear facing as long as possible, but didn’t account for how tall he would be when we picked out our first convertible car seat! Enter this incredible Graco Extend2Fit 3in1 seat that will last until he’s 50lbs for rear facing and allows for much taller shoulder strap/head rest positions. We also are huge fans of the anti-rebound bar feature! So far our son loves his new “fancy” seat with built in cup holders and can actually help close some of the buckles, which is great for his sense of autonomy. The extension for extra legroom is a great option, but not needed if space behind the driver is limited. We found a great compromise position with the extension partially out and a good comfortable recline for our son, which still left plenty of room for an over 6’ tall parent in the driver’s seat. Since we received this seat to test and review as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, we chose to try the belt path installation method as that would usually be the most frustrating for any parent and it has the highest weight limit allowance. Total time spent including re-referencing the manual and checking levels, recline, etc. was under 10 minutes!! Way easier than anticipated! Only downside was the level indicator is only on one side of the seat (which was opposite for us installing behind the driver) - just had to check it from the other side door.
Graco 3 in 1 keep them safe longer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this car seat thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but these are my own thoughts and experiences with it. It is a 3-in-1 seat with the options of rear facing, forward and a booster with a high back, which is really nice vs no back. Unlike some other seats this one can however be used much longer facing backwards as it goes up-to 50lbs and 4 feet tall, and it gives the option of extended leg room of up-to 5” with the extendable panel to still have a 3 or 4 year old facing backward for added safety! Obviously it does not apply to all toddlers, mine have average weight/height and my 2 year old and 4 year old are still both able to be rear facing in this seat. The anti rebound bar add an extra layer of safety with read facing that I’ve not seen in other car seats. I also want to point out that I enjoy how easy the harness works and how smooth it is, I think my little one also liked this because it was less tugging and pulling and just easy going smooth straps. It even has storage pockets for them to go easy in/out. Another added plus is the removable cover option so if you little one has an accident like mine do a lot you can just remove the cover and machine wash it, so no more fabric spray hauling for spit up accidents. The car seat was easy to install as well and my husband had it in within a couple of minutes, which is great if we want to switch seats out or go in a friends car and flip it over there with ease. I really like this seat overall, and the added rear facing and convertibility when my child gets bigger are a huge plus. The highback goes upto 100lb! I would definitely recommend this seat if you want to keep your kids safe a bit longer facing backwards.
Good car seat with lots of helpful features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Graco Extend2fit was sent to me through Stellar Product testing and I was super excited to try it out! We’d been given a hand-me-down car seat prior to this one and loved the idea of having a brand new one with all the features! We used this car seat for our 2 year old son, who is about 27lbs and who we still have rear-facing. I appreciate that it has the capacity to accommodate extended rear-facing because that is a huge deal to me and my husband! I was super excited about the rebound bar feature. I hadn’t seen anything like that on a car seat before. As much as I was excited for the feature, my 2 year old was NOT and spent many times in the car kicking it and screaming until we took it off. Thankfully, it’s easy to place and to remove and I didn’t feel like I sacrificed safety but not having the bar there. I was also really excited about the extendable panel for extra legroom but when I used it, I wasn’t able to get the car seat to fit properly into the vehicle while allowing my daughter, who sits in the middle to still get around it to get in and out of the vehicle. I think I’m going to try switching the car seats around in the vehicle because I think the extra legroom would nice since my son’s legs do seem a bit cramped in the seat. My absolute favorite thing about this car seat was the ease of installation. There is nothing worse than fumbling with a car seat! Using the latch system (which is a must for me when buying a car seat), it only took me 2-3 minutes to ensure the seat was installed properly. The level bubble on the side of the seat made it incredibly easy to know when you had it installed properly! Overall, this is a great car seat!!! I would recommend it. My only drawbacks were I felt it was a bit bulky but yet the seat seems to be a bit snug.
